I'm still not happy that my pick up and drop off location was changed and added an extra 15 miles to my trip each way. If a drop off and pick up location is selected in one county, moving it to another county adding unnecessary miles to the trip shouldn't happen. The people at the location were great and very friendly. It's not their fault I was moved all the way to another county and they were very helpful.

Dolly wasn't in the truck. Had to go to another location to pick up. App and website are terrible. Recommend doing away with mobile pick-up and return in its current form. The whole process is a train wreck.

The rental location was fine and the truck itself was relatively clean. I preordered furniture pads and a furniture dolly, which were supposed to be inside the truck for the morning of my rental but neither were there. I had to waste an hour of time to call U-Haul customer service to advise of this issue before leaving the lot. I was never called the day prior to my rental and was never advised the items I preordered were not available. My experience with this location is therefore below average. I would, however, recommend the location to others because of its proximity to downtown Columbia.

410 Superior St is not a UHaul dealer. The person there told me to return my 15 foot truck back to the 2826 Two Notch Road location, who it turned out did not have the authority to refund my money. In all fairness , she was given this advice supposedly by her manager who told her to do that. The manager , Juvuan, at the 2826 Two Notch Uhaul Dealer was very professional. After he understood what the other person had wrongly told me to do, He let me be involved in a speaker phone conversation with he and his boss. They were not able to return my money back for the original truck that I was trying to swap for a 10 foot truck due to set procedures. Howvever, since then I have a had hard time with UHaul Corporate. They have not been able to tell me if the original 15 foot truck ever got returned to the 410 Superior location. (I had a voicemail one day asking me where the key was). Also. today my daughter's credit card had an attempted charge of $345 from Uhaul (it was declined). What was that for? The original July 2 charge was for 365.15 and has since been refunded to her. I placed the charge for the 10 foot truck we ended up using on my card. Overall, my one experience with UHaul has been needlessly protracted and frustrating. The only good thing about it was Juvuan and Christian at 2Notch Road. But that will not be enough to sway me from trying Budget first next time. John Saine

Truck was just a little dirty...van needed to be mopped but I didn't know that until too late. Debbie at this location was wonderful! Friendly, nice, helpful, knowledgable! Second time we've rented from this location!

The unit was dropped off after hours so therefore had no direct interaction with personnel other than to tell us where to park, etc via telephone. In that regard, they were definitely helpful.

The store was not open at 10 to 9. I tried to use the check-in app on my phone but it kept asking for a location so I couldn't get it to work. I had to call the main office and have them put some notes on my order. I would consider getting rid of the find location on Phone to make sure you're at

Change the process of truck pickup after hours with your mobile. It was EXTREMELY frustrating. The process of pictures of IDs etc can be done at home and not once you arrive especially at night in a dark parking lot.

have the fuel tank full not at 7/8. my trip of 37 miles cost me 7.5 gallons of gas. that is pretty lousy gas mileage. very costly but a good vechile.

Making the reservation on the phone with people not in Columbia was confusing. Email confirmation information was not like call, and we could not figure out how to reach anyone on site on the phone. Once we connected with Superior Street office (I went there), everything was very smooth.

I was a little confused about where to return the keys if it is a ride share. It would be nice to have the key retrival in the upper lot rather than the lower lot. Overall, great experience though!

On my arrival to pick up the trailer, all of the paperwork was already prepared and completed except for what I needed to sign and the trailer was located in an area that was easy for me to access and pick up. We were in and out in approximately 10 minutes. When I dropped off the trailer, again all of the paperwork was already prepared and they were waiting for me even though I still had several hours left before it was required to be turned in. I basically only had to park the trailer and unhook it and we were gone in less than five minutes. All in all this was a great experience and I'll rent from U-Haul again.

Truck and location were fine and as expected. Check out process with Bryan was awful. I don't understand why he was so picky with the photos I sent they seemed fine and you already had them on file. I was extremely disappointed with this aspect of the phone check out

Be careful of the mileage charge. It adds up quickly. .99 cents per mile is high. For a 24 hour period and going 40 miles plus taxes and a 4th tank of gas our cost went to over $114. So much for a $29 truck that was used for about two hours!!!

I rented the van for a 24 hr period, but was charged for 2 days......not happy about the added charges on returning it within the prescribed rental period. I likely will not use Uhaul again if I can find another rental company for my future needs

Approx 3 gallons was consumed by the truck although I just drove 5 miles. The fuel economy was very poor in my opinion. Apart from this the service was excellent!!

There was no one at this location to receive the truck. I had to drop it off at 10:00 am and leave the keys in a drop box. They also were asking (instructions on the lockbox) for the contract which was my only copy. I did not provide it. I did take pictures of the gas gauge as well as the outside of the truck to insure that, were there any questions about damage to the vehicle or refueling, I would be protected. I just believe that there should be someone at a drop-off location to receive the truck and sign off that everything is okay.

A hold was placed for the full estimated rental on my account, then a second hold for the same amount was placed on my account, not the corrected amount. Even if you arrange everything online, you still need to go inside and do everything again, not so speedy

Was given a truck with a broken lock. The passenger side door could not be unlocked with key given. The experience all in all was good.

left tail light was out on trailer when we picked it up. guy didn't have any bulbs to replace it. told me to go to another uhaul. this uhaul could not get in the locked box to get to the bulbs. told me to go to ANOTHER center. the final center was able to help. (Shane on US Hwy 1 in Lexington was extremely helpful and apologetic) HOWEVER, I used an HOUR of my moving time to deal with this problem, not to mention the gas it cost going back and forth through Columbia and Lexington, SC. Not to mention, I had to get a uhaul because my father had passed away and I was moving his things he left me to my home in North Carolina. I was not happy with Uhaul, at all!

When I called the 24 hr number they guy told me to put something in the mailbox. I advised him that I wasn't given anything when I was given the uhaul. He told me where to park it and that it would take care of it when he got it the next day. He was pretty helpful to be someone over the phone
