It may have been due to covid but the gentleman was extremely rushed. There was no time for questions or a run down of costs. All I knew is what I read on the website. I was surprised with the ending costs. But the actual uhaul itself was awesome clean and made our moving experience easily done in one trip. The websites pricing is way off from what you actually get charged so make sure to asked questions before taking off.REBECCA G.

Took 121,64 from me and wouldn't refund me. The guy kept telling me to call 1800 Uhaul. I called the Uhaul and they won't refund me either I had already paid at the pick up location the 1800 Uhaul said that I had dropped off my equipment at the wrong location is the reason why I was charged but my paperwork says the location was correct to where I dropped off my equipmentQuinton G.

I'd start with having equipment service ready, second I'd stand by your insurance, third I'd train staff to be costumer friendly and helpful. I was in your truck for less then 1 minute until I experienced equipment failure. It was fortunate I was not injured as a result of the malfunction. I spent the next hour trying to resolve the issue. The local agent suggested I get someone with a truck to come pull the truck at their parking lot or pay a local towing company to come pull it out at a cost of a 125. Dollars. He told me the insurance wouldn't cover the incident. Then I called your call center the first lady was kind but then the next 2 I spoke with reversed any goodwill she garnered with the situation. I have rented several box trucks, owned several box trucks and have driven literally 100s of thousands of miles safely. I was a route salesman for years and it was the first time I ever experienced a truck grab the reverse as I took it from Park to drive.bill B.
Guy was annoyed and didn't know how to use the system, making him even more irritated. Process took about 40 minutes and I made a reservation online before showing up. He wasn't helpful and couldn't answer simple questions.he was annoyed at any simple thing I asked. Doesn't seem interested in the u-haul business.Greg G.

They charged me for things I never asked for. Also I purchased extra miles and not once was it explained to me that it wouldn't be refunded to me if I didn't use them. so I gave them a call back the next day and the man (also stated he was the supervisor when answering the phone) I talked to on the phone was hands down rude. Cutting me off, wouldn't let me speak. Telling me from this point forward I can't help you. Don't know what you want me to do. call a different number because it's out of my hands. Also, he stated I took off the insurance for you since you said you didn't want it... um no you didn't that was your error you still charged me for it! I would never rent from them again after the experience I had it was one big nightmare!Taona H.

If there's a 100 $difference in a product make sure the customer understands that. I rented a trailer one-way not knowing that if I took a trailer and brought it back home that it would have saved me a lot of money. Guess I confused the rep when I explained what I was trying to doKevin R.

I was in a hell of a pickle broke down on the pa turnpike late afternoon 250+ miles from home i called this location after a couple other locations in the area with no luck i had 20 minutes before they closed the kind man on the other end of the line said no worries I'll stay here til you get here to get the car transport thank you buddy you were a lifesaver especially after the craptastic day i had there needs to be more people like that guy in the worldRICHARD D.

We were given the trailer and after it was hooked up to the truck the brake and turn signal light did not work. Had to take it to another uhaul location and exchange it. They should test these things. We were delayed 1 and 1/2 hour.Michael W.

The owner was not overly friendly or professional and after moving that morning and the previous evening in the pouring rain caused by Tropical Storm Gordon I was charged an additional days worth of rental fees and taxes because I got the truck back an hour too late. I couldn't believe how callused the owner of the shop was especially with the weather we had experienced. I was also surprised at how little the shop owner new about operating the UHaul software. After my experience I called UHaul corporate and was told that they would submit my request to be reimbursed and that I would hear from someone within three days. Well it's now twelve days later and i still haven't heard from anyone associated with UHaul.Aiken M.

Windows were dirty and the windshield wipers were hard as rocks. Made for a noisy ride through the rains storms. Sounded like files cutting the glass. This seems to be the norm for all Uhaul truck, no matter where you rent them. It's all about check them in, check them out.James E.
