mitchell shahadeThey never showed up even during their so called work hours. Also when I returned a trailer there last week they never signed it back in and then I got a call saying I was late returning it. Luckily we had pictorial evidence proving we did leave it there actually early!! And UHaul called us to say they really wanted us to return the trailer to another location 45 minutes away because they were trying to get more trailers to another store. But they called 15 minutes after we were supposed to have returned the trailer and we returned it early. Luckily again the let us keep it at the John J Williams location that was written on our contract. .
John DEBARGEWe dropped off a trailer during off hours and the place never even checked the trailer back in. I got a call days later saying I never returned the trailer. Luckily I took pictures proving I had returned it on time. Then I dropped off a truck during working hours but lo and behold no one was there. Luckily I learned my lesson and called corporate and checked out.

Will McqueenI had a 10:00 am appointment to pick up my rental. When my Husband and I got to location, there was no one in the office and the door was locked. We waited a short time before a woman appeared. She didn't even greet us and say who she was. We had to speak to her first and ask her about herself (as we seen a sign saying under new management). She didn't apologize for having us wait. Now I originaly rented the truck for Friday, January 9, 2024 but due to the snow forecast, I rescheduled to Saturday, January 20, 2022. When we went out to the truck, there was snow all over the truck. We had to clean it off as well as we had a hard time getting the back trailer door opened due to the snow that sat on it over night. As a professional company, one would think that she would have started the truck up so that the heat could have helped in this matter. When I went to tell her about what was going on, she was on the phone (obvious it was personal) and was told when she gets off the phone, she would see if she had a scrapper, which she didn't. This ended up being my Husband having to remove snow with his gloves. I've used this company before and never experienced this type of unprofessionalism. Hopefully I won't need to rent a moving truck any time soon. But if I do, I thinking of finding either another location even if it mean further from me or another company all together if this is the treatment that is now given.

The owner came out and took over (before site was open) because he realized the problem I was having I had 3 bars in 5g and should of been able to do it but your site just circled and circled So there was NO convenience to using uhaul app
Susan McJunkinThe gas tank on the truck I rented did not have a full tank of gas as I was told. It is my fault that I didn't check it before I left. I drove 33 miles and put 21 gallons of gas in the tank. I think a little more attention should be paid before the truck is sent out.

Justee Hammfirst location I went to in Lewes, which was closed said it was a 24 hour drop off would not accept the return. App said to go to a town 30 min away. After calling U Hauls number I was directed to Rt24 Self Storage. The young Lady on the phone was very helpful and patient. Excellent customer service.
George MaguireClean and get rid of the foul odors in both the office and the van. Really disgusting. Had to drive with the windows down and it was raining. Not at all like the experience I've had at another location here in Millsboro on route 113 a couple years ago. That place/van was perfect.
