Business owner was very rude and ignored us and another customer while talking on the phone for 10 minutes. Then ignored us again for multiple minutes while playing on a tablet. Had truck running with doors wide open and less than 1/4 tank of gas in the truck.

Too far away to pick up what we needed.
JOANNE KPerson helped me hook up a car dolly and asked me to step on brakes and check turn sugnals said every thing was good but the left bliker was not working nor the left brake light or running light i paid for two days brought it back a day early and no refund for not using it Typical
SCOTT BMy only reason for not rating 5 is that my reservation pickup changed to a location much farther than what we reserved. The location we were sent to was very helpful and expedient....once we drove the 40 minutes.
MASON TBlaine the manager is very helpful, and making sure you know all the rules, and how to operate and use the uhaul truck. Very friendly and nice love the small local business.

ROGER DMore organized and faster. Ask for too many IDs and I nearly got rejected because I presented my driver's license and military ID and I was still required to presented another ID which I never had. Someone else had to help me present an ID. This was so time consuming and painstaking.
Daniel WBlaine was friendly and helpful throughout the rental process. The truck was clean and well maintained. My only issue was with the UHaul app. I returned the truck after regular business hours, and the app did not recognize the location. I had to call UHaul to get assistance with the return.
GORDON RI supplied information online before arrival. Truck type, tow rating, etc. They were not able to see any of it. Had to redo everything
Phil SThe experience with the Ruddy's was excellent. The experience with reserving the truck online was poor. They kept changed both the pickup and dropoff sites with very short notice and charged for extra mileage when we were told they would give us 90 miles free because they changed the location. Customer service people were helpful when I called to complain, but I shouldn't have to had called. It's stressful enough on moving day, we should not have had to deal with the additional stress or time it took to get the location for pickup and drop off squared away. I will reserve directly thru the store next time!

Paul SReturned the trailer 10 minutes before time ,before closure of shop and before contract time. Worker was on the phone with 2 other rental customers. Then Worker did not want to return trailer because he had already shut down the computer and it was now 4. Had to argue with him for another 10 minutes before he called another person to return the trailer.

Tom SGet your computer system working properly it was supposed to be a dollar a mile and I end up paying lot more than what I was scheduled for I had the truck for one day I returned it and the computer system was down when I picked it up and it was still down when I brought it back I didn't have no paperwork you show how many miles were on your truck when I picked it up and I didn't have any paperwork to show you how many miles I drove it it was supposed to been they're supposed to been $226 mi from my location to the location I went to and then back That's 113 mi one way going to my phone and GPS and they charged me over and they charged me $336 which should have been $236 plus the fee for the truck and which was only supposed to been 19 bucks for one day and this will be the last time I use U-Haul systems I work for U-Haul back in the '50s I'm a very disappointed customer of yours

courtnie konly issue was trying to get paperwork after dropping off truck. Electronic table was very slow. Took over a half hour and still had to call someone to fix the issue
Robert MI picked my uhaul up at this location when there was no staff. My pickup went smoothly. The truck itself needs work, lights aren't operating on the dash, needs brake work and probably some new tires. It feels like you're driving through turbulence on an airplane but all the time. Mirror shakes so bad I can't even accurately look out of it. Then when I dropped off the uhaul I was instructed that it was parked in the wrong spot and that I was expected to back the uhaul into the secured fencing. I said I'm sorry sir, I parked it where we found it. Then he stated it was a foot over to the right. Then I informed the man that I was not capable to back up the uhaul into such a small space safely. He stared at me as I stared back until I stated "what would you like me to do sir? How can I help?" He told me to "get out and I'll so it." I apologized and went on my way. I am very unhappy with this experience, especially being my first.
Alyssa SHave additional help. There was one man working the counter. I had an 8 am pick-up time for my 15' truck and finally got it at 8:55 am. There were 6-7 people deep in the waiting line and the clerk/manager was getting phone calls coming in that he answered which continued to delay the in-store waiting guests. Upon my rental return, it was a 40-minute wait. He had trouble with his computer.
JEFF GBlaine was all by himself but never onces showed stress as there were literally 7 people in line. I was on a time crunch and was nervous I wouldn't make it, but he was so so so knowledgeable with his work he had everyone in and out with complete satisfaction Services!!!
Leila MReturn took an exceedingly long time. It took a long time in the yard for the one person that was working to park and get the truck information and it took even longer inside the dirty building to get the tablet device to connect to the Uhaul site.
Tom BGetting the truck & dropping off the truck was absolutely awful. I would not recommend this to anyone to do the mobile version. Absolutely horrible. Was NOT user friendly what so ever. I still need to rent another truck but preventing to do so because I don't want to use this service again. I am extremely unsatisfied with my experience. The truck was beyond shaky. The oil pressure was maxed out. I felt incredibly unsafe.

Susan CPlease try to stop changing the requested/preferred pick up and drop off locations. I purposely made the reservation well ahead of the needed date and yet U-Haul could not have the trailer I needed at the rather large location I chose. Therefore, I had to drive across town to pick it up rather than at the location I chose 2 miles from from my house. Then, U-Haul tried to change the drop-off location to one much further away from my final destination and the location I chose. Also, the trailer was an older, well used unit that had a very hard to operate door.

oliv TThe tires on truck were bald got stuck multiple times on even flat surface I am contacting DOT to do investigation the tires would fail a DOT inspection then I called to complain that I would not drive it any further and dropped truck off to dangerous to drive they have gall to charge me Forty dollars for gas Do not rent from Ruddys Rental dangerous and unsafe equipment

john dTruck ran like crap I had to jump start it every time I started it up, let alone when I returned it the employee told me a more expensive price then what I was quoted and then he got into a argument with me and told me nothing he could do about it and blamed it on the computer, he then called someone and they got it to the price I was quoted. I was treated with such disrespect when I returned the truck and had to wait about a hour until I could leave, I was there at 740am to return it and didn't leave until atleast 845. Unacceptable when I informed him I needed to get my kids. Not happy
Kevin LTruck was not ready for us at pick-up. Was on hold for 1 hour before being told that we could not get our truck the day it was rented. Returned the truck 14,5 hours before it was due to be returned, could not get the online check in to work, called and was told that it would be noted the truck was returned. It was not noted, got charged for 2 days and now waiting to hear back about getting a refund. This has been a stressful and horrible experience.
Christopher SVery helpful and great service. Happy faces! They helped us out of a jam. The location we HAD reserved from in Cambridge was LOCKED when we went there and no note on the door! The 800 number rep reserved us one at Ruddy's and granted us a credit. Great customer svc experience!
Daniel LI had an issue with the bill. Called customer service and they said I would receive a call from the district manager within 72 hours. It's been over 2 weeks and haven't heard anything.
