JOHN SCANLONEverything went well except the app. The app sucks and kept taking me back to the same screen when I tapped to rent the truck and also the same thing when I tapped to return the truck. It was very frustrating. I finally found the link in my email that was sent and used that on the website and then it worked fine. So the app needs work! I wasted a lot of time and got very frustrated with this stupid app.

dan cremisinoThe UHaul cargo trailer, 6x12 did not come with a stand. This makes it very difficult for switching vehicles during our move. Needing to improvise and find bricks/blocks is a huge pain when trying to move.

Chris SmithI was told when I picked it up I could drop it off after hours (after 3:30 pm) without any issue. The day I was to return it I received a HARSH call at 9:22 am and was told it was due back at 9 am. I was charged for an extra day and an extra $6 penalty. Had I been forewarned or told if they needed it back for a new rental they'd let me know, I would have understood and/or added another day of rental. My issue is POOR INCONSISTENT COMMUNICATION, not the money.
jim beyerTruck was not clean. I swept it out at the rental company property. I disagreed with how much fuel was in the truck. Truck was listed as a 15 foot truck. The floor length was actually 12 feet and a couple of inches. You can not load the ceiling with material.

Matthew SkipperPick up and drop off was easy and pretty quick. The only thing I would suggest is that if the gas gage isn't where they say it should be that you go back inside and tell them. The truck we rented was suppose to be at a half tank, well it wasn't and we never informed them just took a picture and then put it back at the same spot when we returned it. Well be got charged for more gas and the rental company said there was nothing they could do because we didn't say anything before taking the truck. I think they have a tracker on it, but the level that said and what you saw in the truck was significantly different. Other than that no issues.
melissa galatowitschThe unit was not swept out after the previous customer used the truck. I was hauling new rolls of carpeting and had to clean the compartment before I loaded the new rolls of carpeting into it.
WILLIAM HALLThe after hours checkout process with the app was not very helpful. It never gave me the code to get the key, so I spent 20 minutes on hold to get the keys. I wasn't happy that it cut into my rental time and the person who helped me couldn't do anything to refund the time I didn't get to use.

Josh EmerickThe people at Ruddys Rental were great to work with; however, I would caution anyone to only select this location if the pickup time is during hours. We scheduled our rental for a 7am pickup and received no warning that this would be unavailable. We showed up at the location at 7am and while doing the online pickup that we were made aware we could not pickup until 8am which delayed our day and schedules we had with other individuals.

Nhia XiongEverything went well and fine. The truck was clean and handled well while driving it on the road. I could not have asked for a better experience. And the staff I worked with were friendly and efficient.
terry profferWhen I went to my original drop off location (Forest Lake Mini Storage) and started the on-line drop off process, the app told me to go to this alternative Ruddy's location...I don't know why. In addition, I ended up driving (and being charged) an extra 4,2 miles for this mixup.

GARY JOHNSONNeeded two new tires on frount when I picked it up Was no fault of store couldn't have seen the cords At the time of pickup must have been on the bottom but could tell when pulling it After 30 years of driving truck it's easy to tell when a tires are bad when empty O and the pig tail for the lights was rubbing and shorting out on the chain guide is where they had it routed. I would find a better way or think on using wire loom of some kind

Kurt PrieveThe 6x12 trailer I rented had a gate opening of less than 6' and therefore was useless for my needs. This was NOT immediately obvious when I was choosing the size trailer I needed. I have zero problems with the rental location as they were nice. But I'm VERY pissed off that Uhaul calls this a 6x12 when it won't FIT something 6 feet wide!
Mike ryan LutzkeI was not informed that my pick up location would be closed. So I spent 30 minutes trying to check in on line, in the cold, and had to take self pics and pics of DL and then provide an alternate contact, my wife, and then I had to provide a 3rd phone number, so they called my sister to make sure I was OK to rent to!?! This was embarrassing! The truck was clean and was the one promised, but truck was old and felt like on its last legs, but ran fine. Also - There was no dolly as ordered and promised, yet of the 100 questions I had to answer to rent the truck, Did I get the accessories promised was not one of the choices, so I paid $7 for a dolly I did not receive. Very frustrated with the lack of communication and the excess check in process.

Michael RUFENERI rented a pickup. The reason I answered no for the equipment condition was that the floor mats were dirty and there was a dashboard reminder that the engine oil needed changing. These issues were not deal breakers, but it is what I noticed. Ruddy's is a friendly family run business that I have used many times.
