All issues we had overall were with uhaul itself. Many calls were made throughout our trip attempting to resolve our issues and every call resulted in blunt, or rude responses. We thankfully got help at our drop off location but are overall very unhappy with our rental and will not be using uhaul services again.

I rented a 20ft U-Haul truck on Jan 30th, 2019 @ 9am. I was informed the vehicle had 1/2 tank of gas and upon return it should have the same amount. I expressed my concern that it would be difficult to estimate the fuel refill amount. At the end of the rental period, i re-fulled the truck. I added fuel with the ignition in the acc mode to monitor the fuel level. I added $40 and the gas indicator didn't move. I started and moved the vehicle, idled it for 5 mins and parked it on the level area, still no change in fuel level indication. I added another $30 and still no change. I moved the truck again and after idling for awhile the gas hand jumped to almost 3/4 tank. I kept the receipts and returned the vehicle. I was told there was nothing they could do to compensate me for the extra fuel that was added to the vehicle except refund the $15 insurance. I was quite disappointed that i was penelized for an issue related to an incorrect fuel gauge. I feel the vehicle should have been full and then there is no issue with faulty fuel gauges or errors in estimating amounts. Most rental vehicles come with a full tank and return with a full tank. I called customer service and i was told it was my problem i overfilled the truck. I was overall disappointed in the service i received at the pick up location and with customer service via phone. The right and fair solution is refund me the difference in fuel for the extra approx. 1/4 tank i added and repair the problem before another customer gets robbed. Regards, Brian

I was disappointed for a couple of reasons: Went to the assigned dealer the reserved trailer was not available, l had to go across town to another dealer to get my trailer. I required an extension for another day plus 4 hours and the 4 hours was going to cost me a full days rental. Having a dealer within one km from my home I had to travel 40km each way to get it. Unfortunately my wife called request the extension but was unable to do so. Privacy is important but you had all the info on file to cover the extension. Thank You
