The person at this location did mention the plate not matching and after I told her what happened, she said she would take care of it.
James MThe truck was very well maintained, drove well, and met our expectations for the move. However when we got the truck to the house we had to clean out the back of the truck there were alot of staples and what looked like mud and mulch in the back of the truck. We didn't want it to dirty our property or be held responsible for the mess upon returning the truck. Other than that it was a good experience and we would rent a truck again. Yall also had the best prices around.

MARY JOnly issue I had was the truck had s 16th of gas in it on pickup I was told I would be charged 105.xx because it should have been on a quarter tank of has and I was charged 135.xx
james gI'm not sure why I have to pay a fee when I have to upload my own DL, check the truck out, verify the equipment and then check the truck back in. Asking a customer to do all the work and then pay a fortune in fees is not customer focused. I will definitely check Penske before renting with UHaul next time.

James JThe location is some other business, with no hint of Uhaul but the trailers parked around. No one was there during the stated hours when I picked up the trailer, they showed up in a truck to do the paperwork. Despite telling the representative when I would drop the trailer (after hours), they billed me for three days (I was 10 hours later as I had planned). Calling the location when the bill hit my computer, I was blamed for not calling in (something I was not told to do). When I provided exact times when I dropped the trailer, I was told they would check the surveillance cameras, something that has now not been done apparently in 5 days. I will be disputing the bill with the credit card company unless the appropriate credit is completed. I will not use this operation again.

Doug HThe parking & rental lot was partially covered with gravel and then the rest was soft "wet" soil with a little grass. Where the trailer was, was all soil with some grass covering, my trailer had been sitting there for some time, so as a result, the tires had sunken into the soft wet soil, I could not pull the trailer onto the gravelled area by myself because it was stuck in the sunken ruts of the soil (I am 63 years old). There was no one else on site to assist me except the two women who worked in the office and of course the were not capable. After getting my pick-up truck stuck in the soft soil that turned into mud after driving on it, (I thank God I was able to get it out) I had to use a tow strap (that luckily I had) to drag the trailer onto the gravelled area to hook it to my truck. Had I known that this franchise had such a poor facilities set up, I would have brought a trailer from Detroit, Michigan to save myself to he aggravation I encountered here.
Gregory BI did UHaul a favor by returning the truck to Gleason, TN, 15 miles from Paris, TN, and they screwed me by charging an additional $60,89 because I inadvertently left a lock on the unit. When I got a call about the lock, I returned from Paris within the hour to remove the lock. The truck was returned on time in the condition I received it. Maybe I will find a truck other than UHaul next time I move. This is the third time I have used UHaul in the last year. It's a shame this dealer gives a stain on the reputation of a good organization.

Mary LWe tried a different location first. Took over an hour bc the person was FaceTiming someone for our information. Not only that when we went to pay for it before canceling they were FaceTiming my credit card and taking pictures. Uhaul you need to be better and hold these owners accountable. Second location where we picked up the truck finally in Gleason was great.

LEAH SYou charged a fuel usage that I did not use after talking to you on the phone & telling you there was a dispute, photos submitted & a claim #. The tank was on less than 3/4 of a tank when I picked it up and it was on 3/4 of a tank when I dropped it off. I actually left a surplus of gas in the gas tank. I submitted photos to H-Haul to prove the fraud and I was still charged. I am not paying these fraudulent charges. 3986275 is my customer service action claim number.
Ronnie WI never got instructions on how to return the truck. No text or email. I called the number and got a voicemail none ever called back. Finally figured it out.
Richard DI brought it back with just as much fuel as I picked the truck up with and they charged me for two gallons of fuel. I was also approached by a drunk guy walking through the area that tried to open the door of my truck my wife was driving while he screamed at us that he would kill us… the cops were called. Overall bad area for a drop off location.

michael sI rented a truck for 6hrs, which wen u rent a truck I thought for 24 hrs.But anyway I call the store she said she will push the rent back. Then come to find out she charge me for 2 days. And was goes for 7 hrs. Never rent at Gleason tn location. They are CROOKS!!!!!
Adrian PI had a reservation for a 26ft truck in Paris, TN at G1 Shed Haulers. I made the reservation online. The truck was not there so had to make new reservation and get one in Gleason, TN. Wasted 2 hours both picking up and dropping off plus had to drive a total of 70 extra miles which cost almost $70 extra. Not happy with UHaul!

sheila tEnsure your website is functioning properly! Had to create 2 separate contracts, one for the truck, the other for the car dolly. That was due to the system not functioning properly. Other than that, excellent!

MARK MHave people in place that know the business in an out. Anyone that is a franchisee of U-Haul is an extension of you. I have been lied to for price I was rushed and was miss leaded. I am not satisfied. This was a horrible experience. Shawn is unprofessional, hung up the phone, Ignored my calls and did not communicate. I have voice recordings and proof of what she lead me to believe. I reiterated 3 times "will I be charged etc" she assured me I will pay only the difference etc.

CINDY HI chose this facility because the website claimed it was open from 7am to 7pm on Saturday. It was not open at all. I got there at 11 am and it was a ghost town. I finally figured out what to do and then spent almost half an hour getting the key to the truck from the lock box. Considering that I had thought I had already provided the required data, only to have to go through the entire process again. Wasted 45 minutes of my time and I only had 6 hours to start with. I will have to really think about who I will use the next time I need to rent a truck. Probably won't be U-Haul
