The truck was clean, but smelled very badly of cigarette smoke inside the cabin. Very offensive to a non smoker. The pickup location was great for us and the e-check in for drop off was very convenient.

Jillian GyuraThe truck was clean but needs work. The ventilation has a high squeal/whistle when driving that it shouldn't. The radio can not drown it out. Also it's in major need of an alignment as it is down on the right which makes steering not only difficult but hazardous. I'm lucky to be experienced enough that I could manage but I will check for this in the future when renting. Also I could not adjust the passenger side mirrors. I dont know if that is designed that way but I did need them to be adjusted but couldn't.

And I was charged for 3 days instead of two..even though the truck was returned prior to checkin of 8am on day two!! And when I called to dispute, the guy who answered the phone said that the girl who does Uhaul check ins wasn't even working that day!! What is going on there?! BE WARE AND CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!! THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME ISSUES!!
Sarah HechtI was charged for an extra day after I rented the truck for 3 days. I returned the truck a day early and still got charged for 4 days. I couldn't put the keys in the lock box because of the key fob was too big. I called them that night and the next morning where I left messages that the keys were put in the mail slot. When I checked the receipt and called the storage facility today they said they could not correct the charges. I called the number they told me to call and I never spoke to anyone my call was disconnected. I am still waiting. I will never use U-Haul again!

Dana SanchezWE HAD PICK-UP AT HWY 20 IN CLAREMORE. THEY CALLED ME TO INFORM US THAT WE WOULD BE CHANGED TO THE REAVIS LOCATION BUT SAID WE COULDN'T PICK IT UP UNTIL 9 AM INSTEAD OF 8 AM. GOT TO THE REAVIS LOCATION THE NEXT DAY AND FOUND ONLY THE CAR HAULER READY. GOT ANOTHER MESSAGE THAT THE TRUCK WAS NOW AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION AND WE HAD TOO GO AND PICK IT UP WASTING ANOTHER HOUR (COULD HAVE PICKED IT UP AT 8 AM. TALKED WITH AND AGENT ABOUT THE RUN AROUND. SHE TOLD US WE COULD GET A $ 50 CREDIT. I ASKED FOR MORE AND SHE TOLD TO CALL THE COMPANY. NEVER GOT THE CREDIT AND NEVER GOT A CALL BACK FROM U-HAUL.TALKED TO VALERIE ON AUGUST 8TH AT 6:19PM ABOUT THIS AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD SEND A MESSAGE TO (NATALIE) TO CALL US BACK. IT NOW HAS BEEN 10 DAYS AND STILL NO CALL !!!!!!. ON AUGUST 18 TRIED TO TALK WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOT TO CHAT WITH 2 PEOPLE ALEXIS AND LACHAN AND BOTH OF THEM CUT ME OFF BEFORE ANYTHING WAS RESOLVED. THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL A WELL RUN BUSINESS (JUST JOKING)

HEATHER PIDCOCKThe equipment was clean enough and well enough maintained for being an often and hard used vehicle. There were several dings and scratches which were marked sufficiently, but wouldn't affect the use of the vehicle. They came out and checked when I spotted a few extra dings and scratches that had been missed, and, they marked those as well. Staff people were polite and answered my questions. I have no complaints.
BRONWYN ISENHOWERThey were there when I needed it. Very nice, didn't even pro rate units. That was a shocker to me. First time ever anyplace that ive gotten 2-3 days free. They're not $ hungry, humans with generosity. I like it. Convenient in and out...ALL NIGHT LONG. Another plus, a lot of them have bankers hours when in real life people don't. If I ever need storage again this will be my first stop.!! Thanks guys you really helped me out

It wouldn't stay in the the position that I needed it to be in order to see the side view. The speedometer was not working. And lastly, the engine kept losing power and would not switch gears while I was driving it. Not safe at all for the road.

I CALLED TRIED CALLING AND GETTING A REFUND AND THEYN DENIED IT SO I KEPT THE TRUCK AS LONG AS THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE DISTRICGT MANAGER OF IT IS NOT PROFESSIONAL EITHER.

I had an appointment and could wait no longer so locked the truck and left the key with a note in the mail slot. A half hour later I phoned but no answer so left a voice message about the key and the note. I did receive a call back from the location a couple of hours later - mainly to advise me that I was being charged extra due to the gas situation. (i.e I returned it with what I actually started with instead of 1/2 tank which it apparently should have had).That part was not the location's fault, but I was not happy to wait a half hour in the freezing temps this morning and have no one open at the displayed time.

ROBERT STATONAlso the movers that was contracted through was horrible, unprofessional, and caused me to loose items that can never be replaced, loose things that can be replaced but never mean the same due to them being gifts or inherited from dead loved ones, and then loose things that can be replaced eventually when I have the money because they did not show up to actually do work untill 6pm an hour after I was to even return the truck. Loaded one load then drove over emptied that load. They took 4 hours to do that. Dropped my washer and dryer and now dryer makes noise. My daughter and I worked the best we could to get the rest on several loads in my little ford focus until my dead line to be out at 11:59 pm set by management and my notice of moving that I turned into them. So when time ran out what was left stayed. I will never rent from U-haul and never get movers through u-haul again. Plus make sure all my family and friends that are moving not take a chance on you either. Hell the woman at Ss Storage was even late to work that morning. I was not the only customer that was waiting 20-30 minutes after our pickup times for her to show up. She did no walk through or anything. The truck had mcDonald sacks stuck in the wheel hub area and I left them there because it was not my place to clean up after someone else. Never again will I subject myself to this much anxiety and mental anguish again. Thank you Mrs Anna Phillips Disabled Widow.

EDWARD Noviski17Ft. Box truck was in poor mechanical condition. Front suspension (steering) was very worn. Bad vibration in drive line between 55 - 60 mph. Driver's seat broken down. Have rented U-haul many times, this was by far the poorest condition I've seen.
