when i ordered online i did not opt in for any insurance or coverage, as my personal insurance covers this. However, when we received the invoice afterwards, we were charged the 14,99 $ for the safe move coverage. just make sure you are charged for what you asked for and nothing else. Unfortunately I reserved online and my husband was the one who picked up/returned and didnt know what i had reserved online. Everything else was great.MICHAEL B.

Your associate, Cleopatra W, overcharged me for 140 miles at 1,09 $ per mile when I only drove for 19 miles on my move. She was very unprofessional, saying how she didn't want to be at work the day I picked up the Uhaul truck. I did not get a usual walk-around inspection of the vehicle, before signing for it. I did not confirm the starting mileage because I was in a hurry to go close on my house. When I received the receipt after the rental, I called Miss Cleopatra W, to dispute the overcharge receipt. She told me there was nothing she could do but call customer service rep and dispute with them. I called customer service, the lady, Monique, was very kind and understanding. I'm still waiting for the regional manager to give me a call and I'm still waiting for my expected, appropriate refund. It's been very disappointing and you guys might lose a loyal customer for lifeâ€¦just saying.Thomas I.

I had to wait 2,5 hours to get my moving truck. I scheduled for a 6:30 a.m pick up and had to wait til the store opened because I couldn't get the code to pick up the truck. When they opened the employees couldn't get their system up. Then the manager started telling the newer employee what needed to be done and somehow their conversation started escalating and I finally had to interrupt them and ask to get my truck. This wasn't a conversation the manager should have been having with the employee in front of a customer. The truck I rented didn't seem to run all that well, very loud and the drivers side door wouldn't close all the way. Probably wouldn't ever rent here again.Jean C.

Truck smelled like smoke and was dirty The truck also stalled several time in the 23 miles I drove it. I brought the truck back early cause I didn't want to get stuck somewhere and asked for a refund. But the women at the desk said she is not giving me any money back, tuff luck. The reservation system. To be told the day before my move that the closest truck was over an hour away and wouldn't be available until late afternoon really hindered my move. They made it sound like I had the last truck available and I almost didn't get one even though I made my reservation a week or two in advance. Why let someone make a reservation for a particular location and time if it's not accurate?DILLON M.

The App did not work for location verification for after hours drop off on either my phone or my husband's phone. The app will not let you proceed if it can't verify. Followed all of the suggested instruction to allow location. (Which was turned on) Spoke with the Uhaul call center and was assured it would all be handled over the phone and I wouldn't be charged an additional day or the 20 $fee. Reservations are limited to 2 days. Customer service rep was supposed to modify the reservation for 3 days (Never happened). Had to go through 800 uhaul to get contract extended. This location does not sell boxes by the bundle. Had to drive 20 miles to a uhaul center to get the bundled deal. Even though this was the closest location, would rather travel for better service and more selection of vehicles (no 26' trucks available in area).Gene C.

They completely missed a huge hole in the outer wall of the dually tire. But they did call roadside assistance to meet me at my house. But still, I should've had a truck free of that significant of an issue. Also, the initial trailer I was given had a massive piece of metal in the tire! Fortunately, they had another trailer (albeit old) that I could take. But honestly, this was the worst equipment condition I've ever experienced with Uhaul and I've used your services my whole life!JORDAN H.

Internet didn't work for pulling up the contract. Inappropriate comments were made to us about other customers who came in the store. When the employee contacted a manager to get help the manager stated while on speaker phone that the check in site that was not allowing me to enter the approximate mileage was easy to figure out and seemed unwilling to help. I felt like I was inconveniencing the employee and the manager even though their internet was not working to check me in.Melinda M.

The gas tank was short about 5 gallons full, although I returned it full. To get customer service to answer the phone is something of a pipe dream. I'm speaking of your 1-800, Go Uhaul. I was also guaranteed a truck that was about 40 minutes away, and when I got there, I got sent to a different location that was about another 40 minutes away.TIMOTHY H.

They were closed for lunch so I was almost an hour late getting the truck when the reservation was for 1145, I was there at 1130 but the door was locked until 1230. The job I rented it for was only a 4 hour job. So I had two staff members waiting around getting paid for nothing until your location finally opened up again.RYAN K.

I just sent an email to U-Haul corporate explaining my scenario. While this location was very kind, I feel as though I was bait-and-switched by the company overall. The location I tried to rent through told me they would price match a quote from Budget that was around 650 $cheaper. Of course, U-Haul doesn't actually allow you to select where you pick your truck up. So the day of the pickup, I was sent an hour North to pick up the truck here in Brighton, where they did not honor what I was told about the price match. A representative from U-Haul corporate called me after the local fleet manager escalated the situation, and was incredibly rude and insinuated that I was a liar; also saying he did not have the time to call the original location to discuss this. I was incredulous that anyone in a reputable brand these days would treat a customer that way. There were no other 26" trucks available in the area from Budget by the time they disclosed that they would not in fact price match nor give me any kind of discount. So I drove an hour north to pay 650 $more than I needed to for a truck that honestly shook me like a cocktail for 3 days. I will most likely never do business with U-Haul again and would advise against renting their moving trucks.WILLIAM M.

There was radiator fluid leaking from the rental which was quite alarming. If we would have driven for a much longer distance, we probably would have been stuck on the side of the road from overheating. Better maintenance of their rentals needs to be doneSHARON B.
I specifically asked for an appliance dolly since i needed to move heavy stuff 30 miles away from this location. When i arrived to my destination, there was no dolly in the truck so i had to end up carrying all this stuff. When i returned the truck i was told " You need you grab your own dolly and put it yourself in the truck". When i go to a burger place and order a burger with ketchup, noone has ever told me to get off and get the ketchup myself. I am disappointed that i paid over 120 $to make it easy on me and i ended up carrying the stuff anyways and could of used my own truck. Lazy employees could of took 2 minutes of their time and put the dolly in the truck.CARLOS C.

They took a long time to get my checked out even though I have finished all the paperwork online before, they didn't explain anything to me about the truck or show any support in customer service. They eventually did help put on the trailer hitch, which was the only helpful part. They couldn't answer any of my questions in relation to Uhaul equipment or services. Overall I wouldn't drive all the way to Brighton for this again (even though Uhaul made me because it was the ONLY 15 foot truck in all of Denver area)Amanda W.
