The parking lot locks at 6pm, but Uhaul instructed me to return my truck at 6:45pm. My personal car was stuck in the lot the whole night. Customer service was rude and not helpful. Horrible experience.
Michael ALocation was closed for drop off, I had to call the after hours U-Haul representative who advised me to park on the street until the next morning. Fees were waived thanks to the representative but the location can do better to accommodate for its clients.

Shneur SDoes not work as a self service location if the gate to access the parking is locked at the time of drop off. Also no accessible street parking so we had no alternative. Very stressful experience.

Matthew WYou should indicate that the entrance is on Oxford. It took us ten minutes to find the place, after we finally just called and asked the guy in the office. Other than that everything was great.
danna hThis business is well-run and highly recommended. The only problem is you can't get to this place by driving to the given address on Western Ave. When online reservations are made it should clearly be stated that the site can not be reached by plugging the given address into a map app, and can only be accessed from Oxford St., which runs parallel to Western. Unless you've already been warned about this, be prepared to waste time trying to find the place the very first time.

Andre LThey were fine enough but I got a lot of attitude about some debris in the pickup truck bed. I'm talking little bits of dirt that were there when we got the truck. I swept it out in front of him and the guy just stood and sighed and tried to charge me $20 anyway for cleaning per their policy. We rented two trucks last week at another location in Hollywood and had a much better experience.

Mitt SThe General manager Eugene Park, and his employee Ezra Kang are extremely racist and unprofessional. Upon my arrival at the establishment I was met by Ezra the front desk associate. He was very rude and unfriendly had an attitude from the beginning of the transaction until the end. He stated several time that "you people" are the ones raising the rent in the Koreatown area. He also told me he didn't even want to rent the truck to someone like. I originally rented the van for 1 day and ended up needing it longer. I called Friday morning to extend the right from 8am to about 9:30 got now answer, so I called the 1-800-468-4285 number and spoke to someone there to externe the vehicle. I also informed them of the racist comments that were made toward me and that I felt uneasy about taking the truck back there. They took note of the comments instructed me that I would have to take it back there or be charged an extra fee. I understood that and complied. She ended extending the vehicle for me and I continued my day. 11:40 Eugene Park called my phone threatening me. Saying that if I didn't return the car by 11 I would be charged a fee for "messing up his schedule". I informed him of what I was told via the 800 number and proceeded to hang up the phone and continue my day. I ended up having to extend one more day needless to say I called customer service to do so. Saturday afternoon when we arrived at the location to return the car I was greeted by a visibly upset Eugene. He let us know that if we would have let him know we needed the car for that long he would not have rented to "my kind" & that "my kind" im a white male. He was extremely rude just like his associate he even brought of the phone call from the previous day saying we were acting craftily. My black/African American friend was with also with me. Eugene began to throw racial slurs at not only me but my friend as well calling him the N word and a lot more racist things. It was the craziest experience I have ever dealt with and completely gut wrenching. No one like that should work for this company are let alone be a general manager. I hope the racism and ignorance doesn't go unchecked

KYU CHard to find the place as the address is incorrect. Even when using the app to speed things up, the service is slow, not only at that specific location but all the others as well.
Eyal BA bit of an Extreme anger issues and self control when it comes to Customer svc. I mean sure..anyone can't be perfect.. But im sure...there were many better ways to handle the situation...for more prosperous business in the near future..

But, when we dropped off the truck on 4-3-2019 at about 1PM there was a very unfriendly, mean spirited and unprofessional guy there named Daniel. He should not be working with the public for U-Haul. Clear communication on how to locate them (although a call had to be made regardless--maybe a sign with instructions for the entrance would be really great). Other than that, pricing is fair and honest.

Kuba DMake it clear on the order form that the entrance is actually on Oxford street - you cannot enter from Western (the address). Very confusing. I called and was immediately told to enter from Oxford, great customer service... much faster than going to an official Uhaul location.

Sean KHorrible service, no trucks available, I ended up paying more for a size of truck I didn't need. Plus, they wanted me to sign the contract with Mileage and gas in tank before checking the actual info and when I did, the gas was actually below what they had in the system. Worst Uhaul experience so far.

Brian EI think you should reimburse clients for leaving the gas amount higher than when they first received the truck. I received the uhaul at a quarter tank. I returned the rental with the gas tank half full. So the next person benefits but I'm out the money. When you rent a car, you get reimbursed for the extra gas so why can't uhaul do the same?
Hope DBetter signage on the Western Ave side to indicate that the uhaul office is in the back. Otherwise. Great location and staff

gary gDaniel Chang was working the front desk when I came in. I was running late and trying to hit a tight deadline to return props to Warner Brothers studio. When I told Daniel this, he shifted into high gear and made certain 1.) I knew everything I needed to know to rent the truck 2.) Got out the door in time. He was suddenly talking like the fast copy at the end of a radio ad, but making sure I understood everything. He was amazing. And I made it to my deadline with 2 minutes to spare! Thank you, Daniel
