I was told I could drop trailer off And now I get charged 122 dollars because they say it's the wrong location After I called and got approval

Location did not open until 10 am. Dropped off at 9:45 a nobody was around. Location did not appear to be a big player when it comes to uhaul rentals.

John PMy rental location go switched at the last minute. I also got charged 10 for blankets that were not in the truck. The mobile experience fire renting and returning is not bad, but it is cumbersome.

Mark BTwo things. First more of a note to the location, previous renter left a pair of closet doors in the mothers attic. The second, the app is a train wreck and stalled out constantly in fact I had to go straight to uhauls web page to do the return. I lost about a half hour each at pick up and return due to the failures of the uhaul app. That's not on the location that's on uhaul.
David MWhen I pulled in there was not a lot of open space to drop the trailer. I don't even know if there was an office to go into to ask for help. I used the app to check in and it was helpful, but for my first time unhooking and dropping a trailer off it would have been better to be at a UHaul facility and not a space at another business. I didn't see any signs or anything. I just looked for other uHaul stuff to park it by. The app checks the location though to make sure you are in the right place.

Check in went great, but check out didn't work so I was lucky the staff at St Charles Motorcars were still there to complete my checkout. Otherwise I would have been on the phone for awhile...
Johanna Wnothing wrong with the customer service as they went above and beyond, however, their system was extremely slow and it took us 45 minutes just to pick up a trailer.
Gina CThe app did not recognize the location and would bot let me check in. Then the reading on the odometer and gas tank was not accurate, nor did the app allow me to upload pics of the dashboard nor the van. The woman at the car dealership did her best to make it all work.

CONNIE MThey gave us a truck with a malfunction. After the truck was loaded and we started the ignition, there was a " check engine" red light on. We stopped at a different location ( Palatine, IL) to check the truck and were notified that there is a leak and we have to go to a third location to pick up another truck as this one was not drivable. With the fully loaded truck, we went to the Rolling Meadows location to pick up the new truck. We were told that there we would get help unloading the malfunctioning garbage truck and load the new truck. However, manager at the Rolling meadows location was not able to assist with moving the items but explained that roadside assistance could help with this, but it could take awhile. He also explained that because of the inconvenience, we should be fully reimbursed for our truck and gas expenses by reporting the incident to customer service and filing a grievance. This incident disrupted our trip to Michigan and caused us a delay of 6 hrs. We were not able to arrive on time by 2 pm that day, and missed our appointment. We also had to unload the first truck and transferred all items to the new truck on our own. Our total expenses: $585 (truck rental) $108,25 ( first truck gas fill) $100,02 (second truck gas fill) $115 ( second truck gas fill) Please see our total expenses and consider us getting a full reimbursement. Mary SDO NOT make any future customers drive an extra 4 hours just to drop off the rental !!!! I must have passed at least 4 other U-Haul locations before I got to the one you DIRECTED me to use as a drop off point. I know there was a drop off within 20 minutes (used it last year) of my destination, but for some reason I could not use that one? Drop location should look like a U-Haul location instead of the back of a used car lot. The kid who accepted my rental did not provide any proof of receipt, and I had to walk him through how to safely block the wheels and disconnect the trailer from my vehicle. Duh?

JEFFREY SVery disappointed that I had to drive 15 miles to pick up the truck, when i made reservations to pick up the truck less than 2 miles from my home. And when i went to pick up the truck at the new location at the reserved time. The location was closed. I had to go back to the location the next morning to pick up truck. Very poor communication and business etiquette on the part of U-Haul.
ROBERT DGood experience with this location. Very friendly rental manager who had to fix my rental contract because of computer problems that took about an hour to handle. My truck had the cleanest cab interior that I have ever seen. I would definitely rent from this location again.
PETER MMake the web site so both the rental location and renter don't have problems. They kept getting kicked out of the system and I had problems selecting the towing vehicle as it kept changing.
