The truck was dusty and I returned it the same way yet was charged a cleaning fee for a leaf that may have blown in when they turned the truck around the employee and I reviewed the truck upon its return then some photos decided to charge me a cleaning fee never have I ever nor will I use this facility again

Ensure that a representative is available to receive and inspect returned vehicles. This return was 5:30 PM on Saturday and the drop location was identified as 24hr which is why I chose it. I was accused of causing damage that absolutely did not occur while I had the vehicle. I have filed a disagreement with Uhaul 2390720 and I have refused payment on the damage charges to my credit card. This was completely unprofessional and looks very much like some kind of scam.

No Uhaul sign outfront. No street number posted anywhere. This is a Mobil gas station and no indication of "Sams Mart" sign visible anywhere from road. Person who took keys never logged it until the next day. I am currently disputing the charge and waiting on return call from uhaul mgmt.

My issue was primarily with Uhaul online reservation. Called in to check availability, got a price, called back in 10 minutes after speaking with my husband and the price went up. I thought I was calling the actual store but it was a call center. The location where i reserved the truck was a Uhaul center but they sent me to a convenience store and I had to do everything over the phone with the guy. Thank god I had a smart phone to process and finalize my order and then use a lock box to get key. I never got an itemized receipt and was over charged for insurance that I said I didn't need. The gentleman when i arrived in Canton was super helpful and refunded the insurance for me. It was just not the experience it should have been.

Sam was fantastic and went out of his way to make sure I got the cargo van I ordered. It wasn’t there when I arrived because another customer extended their use. Sam made sure I got one anyway which was a big relief.

After renting a pick-up truck at 2:15pm for two days, I discovered that I didn't need it for the second day and brought it back a day early - at 1:55pm. After receiving a bill via email, I found that I was charged for the full 2-days because the claim was that I didn't return the truck until 3:30pm. The bill had also reflected that I had traveled more miles than I actually did. And finally, I was charged $14 for not bringing the truck back with the same amount of gas - when in fact I returned it with exactly the same amount of gas. Since it never crossed my mind that I might get ripped off, it never dawned on me to take pictures of the odometer and gas gauge - which I did not. At that point I had to call the company to straighten things out and had the 2nd day rental charge - along with the mileage overage - removed from the bill. They refused to remove the $14 gas charge claiming that the gas needle showed I had not put back the same amount of gas - which in fact I did. I am very disappointed with U-Haul and will never rent a truck from them again. If you are reading this and have any intentions of renting from U-Haul just remember to take pictures or EVERYTHNG so you are not put in the same position that I found myself in this past week - Good Luck!

This is the second time that I have rented from this location & I have had to sweep the bed of the truck clean before using it. Their hours are severely limited & the owner has given me nothing but a poor attitude each time. Although it is a convenient location to rent from, I will never do business there again.

Their hours are limited & that caused me to wait for someone to return to allow me to pick up the truck I had reserved. The truck wasn't clean & had brake components in the bed, which I didn't find out until I cleaned it out prior to returning the truck, it was full of leaves & debris from being parked under a tree & could have been washed as it had dirt on the windshield.

Only the owner is able to process U-haul transactions which limits the hours for pick-up. Also, the contact email listed upon the "no-reply" email I received is a dead link. This is frustrating when you need to contact someone and their contact info is incorrect.

The 15' truck was a few feet too small. It was advertised to be appropriate for 1-2 bedroom apartments. I moved out of a 1-bedroom apartment with absolutely no kitchen items. U-Haul should overestimate size recommendations in its advertising.

They had the speedometer over by 2000 miles. Was charged close to $800 for extra miles. The trip was under 300 miles. Never again Uhaul!

I'm putting in a BBB complaint against Chris from your regional office. He called me yelling at me. He started off saying that it doesn't show I picked up the reservation. I told him I was driving the truck as we speak. He was talking so much and not listening to me. He said" it doesn't show and you are driving without it being authorized and if you get stopped by police it will show you're not insured" what pissed me off was the way he was talking to me. Like I did something wrong or I actually took out my busy schedule to walk in an place to rent a Uhaul truck. I told him " it is not necessary to yell at me and you are being unprofessional. If this continues I want to speak to someone else. I guess that didn't register that I was upset. He sounded like he was annoyed. He continued.. Ma'am what I am trying to tell you...you should not be driving because you didn't sign a contract. Ok..now he is really pissing me off. " I am trying to tell you I signed a contract at the place. They copied my license and they took my credit card information. You can call them and speak with them" he replied " I can't call them and ask them for your information. You have to give YOUR information to me" He must have been out of his mind...." I am not giving you my credit card information. First of all, who are you? where are you calling me from? that's when he actually gave me his name and where he was calling from. " Ma'am if you would let me finish my complete sentence you would know. WHAT!!! Listen... I'm driving right now. Give me your fax number, your phone number and I will call and ask them to send over the contract. I will call you back. " I'm just letting you know I get off at 7pm and if I don't get it by then... and if you would let me finish my complete sentence you would have heard what I was trying to say. This unprofessional representation of your company had the nerve to hang up on me. I rented so many trucks from you and this is the first time EVER I had to deal with this. I am NEVER rented from you again. I rather go to Lowes at rent for 90mins before I give you another 94.96 to rent your truck for 2 hours. As you can tell I am still upset over this ordeal. When I go back to the place I rented the truck I told the owner how I was treated. He said the same person called him and was being rude, He told him it wasn't registered. the owner said I told him " I don't know what you see in your system but everything was done correctly through mine. I am calling BBB and Attorney General. I will not accept being talked to in that manner. Please screen your employees and how they treat your customers. I was trained that you always smile while on the phone. It's called Customer Service.

Rental Specialist was very friend and helpful. The only problem was it took a long time to process the rental because the Sam Mart was so busy and only one person was on duty for both the rental and customers.

The location was closed & I had to wait. The UHAUL 800 # I called, did not have a workable telephone number for this location. I left my prescription sun glasses in the vehicle, and the UHAUL 800 office provided no assistance. After over 20 attempted calls (the number usually switched to a fax) and messages left with Zee (the owner of the location) and a handwritten note left in the drop box as well as several unsuccessful visits to the location did I get a call back from Zee. On my way from NY to Maine, I stopped by and finally picked up my sun glasses. I WILL NEVER rent from UHAUL again. This was my worst experience I have ever had with a rental vehicle.

The gentleman who helped was very nice. The computer was exceedingly slow and I was surprised at first that it was not a full center, so had there been an issue there were no other trailers on-site to choose from.

I was told my one way rental would include 77 miles which would allow me to get home with minimal extra miles. However, when I receieved the uhaul I was told it would only be 60 miles allowed. 60 miles was not even close to enough. It was very dissappointing.
