The trailer we rented came off my vehicle because the did not put it on right. Thankfully there was no damage to my vehicle.

Gerard CyrKnowing that the process of self service pick up takes about 20-30 minutes would have been helpful. Knowing that if you're not precisely on time you have to call the helpline to adjust the time otherwise you cannot move forward in self service pick up would also be helpful.

This should be fixed as it is a hazard for people taht may not be able to see out that mirror. Also, got charged for a large truck rental price vs a 9 ft van price!

patricia PulgarinThis is my go to place for renting Uhaul equipment. It's easy to get in and out and quick. Friendly customer service. The only problem I had was that each time I reserved a truck, the fuel level was always a 1/16 below what was quoted on the receipt. I just take a photo of the fuel gauge and mileage before I leave for proof and return it back at the same level.

It pulled to the right, the drivers door was hard to close, there were ants in the passenger door and I could not drive it at night due to very oxidized headlight covers. The headlights could not illuminate the road. This rental was for move from Port Charlotte, FL to Headland AL. This truck should not be allowed on the highway.
PETER ZIDMake sure there is a charge battery in the vehicle. Had to wait almost 3 hours for a new battery and taking the vehicle. Very bad experience with U-Haul.

Andre DallemandPicked up a trailer and was told that I could use the nearest one to my destination by the attendant at the pick up site. The nearest location was not open on Sunday but showed that it allows "24 hour returns" on your website, so that's where I headed. When I arrived, I dropped the trailer where the single "drop off" sign indicated I should leave it. There was only one U-Haul vehicle at the location - a van - and I parked the trailer in the parking spot closest to it. I've dropped trailers after-hours before with no issues, but the U-Haul app has changed since the last time I did so. Before, I could take pictures of my drop off, answer a few questions if the location was closed, and all was good. Now, it appears that customers need to leave their rental contract in the drop off box for after-hours returns. I didn't have the contract with me when I dropped the trailer and wasn't going to make another trip to do that. Tonight I noticed that you charged me a $29 late fee. I have a hard time understanding your definition of "late" - I followed the drop off instructions as I understood them, except for leaving the rental contract in the drop box. That's on me. But even without it, I don't understand how it wasn't noticed. The trailer raised the total U-Haul equipment to two in the parking lot. And since the lot was almost full of non U-Haul vehicles, I'm pretty sure there were no other drop offs. I've rented from U-Haul and Penske several times over the past few years, and will continue to rent trucks/trailers going forward. Your late fee gave me 29 reasons to choose Penske as my sole rental company.

kevin kingClean the truck, maintain the truck to make the trip pleasant. Truck smelled like piss, it was dirty with garbage inside. Truck steering wheel was crooked, check engine light was on, it idled rough. Rides like a 1980s tractor. Horrible, definitely not worth what I paid.

Holly BrooksThe experience was terrible. I will never use U-haul again. I reserved weeks ahead of time and still did not get the truck size I reserved. The person at the pickup location was very unhelpful after I finally found some one to help. She blamed everything on U-hauls system being down. I checked in on-line, paid, entered my lic pictures...and it sill took over 30 minutes to pick up the truck. The idea of using these one-off, non-uhaul provides leads to bad customer experiences. Also, they did not have the hand truck that I reserved and paid for. I am still waiting for refund on that. You hid the mileage limit well on the contract. Nice surprise that you no longer get unlimited mileage on one-way.

Leonard FordThe cargo area of the truck was fine. The cab had dog hair all over the place, smelled like a wet dog and it looked as if someone spilled some drinks in it. Customer service was friendly and fine but the truck sucked. Super rough ride, nothing gentle about it.
