Really upset about the screw up with drop off location had to pay exra day penalty by no fault of my own have been using U-Haul for many years this was by far worst experience

Charles RipperI was very impressed with the service especially with the help with the auto transport and knowledge that this place had for making sure everything was secure. Without his expertise and willingness to explain everything in detail I would have been lost when we got stuck and needed to take the car off the trailer. Since the help I received in the beginning of our journey was very thorough I knew how to take the car off again and put it back on.

I ordered equipment over a week in advance and it wasn't there when I arrived and I was never notified they didn't have the proper equipment. I had to take time and mileage to drive to a different location. Very inconvenient

ALLEYIA VALLEYThe person renting did not ask if I wanted the extra insurance, he just added it on. He never said that what I was signing for, just that I was to sign here. The truck had 126 000 miles on it and was all over the road. There was something wrong with the steering and the front suspension.

The steering wheel was totally loose and the vehicle did not respond/did not turn when the wheel was turned. It absolutely did not handle curves and I could not maintain control. I felt like my life was in danger driving that vehicle. I should get s full refund for being given such a faulty vehicle. I've rented many times before with no issues. But this vehicle should not have been on the road!!

Chris NagleeThe truck was not ready for 24/7 pickup at the scheduled appointment time and I had to spend an hour on the phone with UHaul. I requested the advertised $50 refund but have not received any correspondence. I was warned by a friend to avoid using a non U-Haul store for a rental, and now I understand why.

Vanessa Mendezthe u-haul app is a disaster. Exactly not users friendly, take forever to load the pictures, if you click the back button, you basically need to redo the whole things. The online customer service even modified my reservation to a wrong state!!!! I was only requesting to change the pick up time, NOT the location! then I had no choice to redo the reservation on the counter with the location owner, which is a nice elder couple. I will never use the app again, it's sucks.

Tanya MayerFirstly, if your using the mobile app, the whole point is to pick up anytime you request it. I wasn't able to retrieve the key because the keys were being held inside the establishment, not in a lock box. Secondly, the original pick up reservation was in breinigsville , Pa. which was exactly 1,5 miles away from my home. U haul took it upon themselves to change my pick up site on the night before my scheduled day to pick up. The new pick up site was in hellertown, PA. about 20 miles away from my original pick up site. So I was obviously at the mercy of uhaul and I believe this is done purposely simply because this is the second time I've experienced this situation with this company. This type of behavior on the part of such a large rental moving company is unacceptable. The public needs to take action and report them to the proper agencies so as to stop them from continuing to doop the consumer. They also had the audacity to charge me for the mileage when the pick up location was changed by them. It's just atrocious how they continue to get away with this and nobody is held accountable for this treatment of the renter. Unbelievable.
