The pick up process takes over 1 and a half to complete. Very complicated Keys are hard to get , app sucks , the length of a check in a way too much. I was double charged too for double reservation.

Your app is absolutely horrible. I had location turned on for everything and it didn't work. Wasted almost 2 hours trying to pick up the truck. Most of that time spent on the phone with Uhaul people trying to figure things out.

A more thorough check of the equipment you are providing to the customer is needed, along with better customer service. Truck had a low tire (35PSI, but should have been 80PSI) and a headlight out. Called customer service and explain the problem. When I was put on hold, we were disconnected. No call back from customer service was attempted on UHauls part, even though he had my number and there were big concerns with the truck that involved safety. I rented 6 mattress pads that were not provided. Received no communication from the company. Overall, I was very disappointed by this service.

Everything about this experience was a struggle. I am so disappointed. I requested a pick up at an open facility. We struggled with the locater working -opening the key box - and the battery was DEAD IN THE TRUCK - lost an hour of daylight. Called uhaul & NO ONE ANSWERED - was on HOLD - thank God the shop owner happened to come by -he was hesitant to help because his shop was v CLOSED ON A SUNDAY & when we returned same issues with the UHAUL APP. Very disappointed.

The check in process was lengthy and laborious. I never knew for sure what it was going to cost me until I brought the truck back. The penalty costs if the tank wasn't 7/8 full were outrageous.

The Gilberts Illinois U-Haul is not the location to go to. The man who checked me is what gives U-Haul a bad name. He was not only grumpy and rude, but huffed and puffed through the entire transaction. Cursed while helping my disable husband, I was shocked that he even offered to help. I will never use or suggest this location again.

I ordered blankets (which I was charged), but none were in the truck and so I no blankets. Contacted the owner of location and he said "we requested 2 weeks ago" and don't have any. So with NO advanced warning from either UHAUL or the location we had no moving blankets. Moving t.v.'s, dressers, kitchen tables, etc is no easy job without blankets. There was damage to several pieces of furniture ( one of which had to thrown out). I even reported NO BLANKETS on the final report along with fuel reading, mileage, pictures of inside of truck, yet I was STILL charged for the blankets. If the $5 had been dropped from the final bill, I will accept the miss communication on the blankets, but to charged for them even after I reported to UHAUL and the owner of the location of the pick up, is bad customer service. I have requested 1/2 credit of the total charges on my credit card. Removing the $5 (after I was already billed) now is to little and to late.

I am sure the facility that provided the truck was fine, but we didn't speak to anyone there. In fact, when we had issues and questions, we could not reach anyone via any phone number for Uhaul. That part of the service was very poor.

The door was locked, this was an additional location added because attention wasn't paid to details which cause more stress on me personally. I was delayed from departing and arrived late to my destination due to truck issues.

Pick up location was 20 Miles away. My whole trip was only 90 miles. Seems like there should have been one closer.

The problem is the service before getting the truck. We had no email with an address. Had to go 20 min to a further location. Waited on hold several times the night before for 20 min and still never spoke with anyone. Reservations really needs to be redone . Poor customer service during the renting process.

Uhaul changed my pick up location but did not make me aware that they were not open weekends for my scheduled pick up. Had I not called them about my reservation, my entire weekend move would have been blown. Shocks Towing didn't seem to even be aware of my reservation until I called. They took great care of me and were very apologetic but it wasn't their fault.
