Everyone we spoke to was very nice and helpful. Uhaul changed our pick-up time and location without obvious notification. We had to call in order to find out that our pick-up time had changed (then received an email with the time change after the fact).

I requested and paid for a hand truck and dolly with my van. The hand truck and dolly were not in the van, and the person at the rental place was not wearing a mask and would not come outside, so I could not safely go inside to request them. I have requested a refund for these charges several times and been ignored. Horrible customer service, I'll go out of my way to go somewhere else next time.

I was disappointed i originally booked in advance for Saturday for 24 hrs and i got a email Thursday afternoon. My reservation was moved to another location which was off my way and i have to change everything. It was very inconvenient considering i already plan my whole weekend for moving. This is the second time happen to me reserving at Uhaul.

Do not increase the rate after we make a reservation. This is called bait-and-switch, which is illegal. We reserved this truck at $0.99/mi, but UHaul charged us 20% more at $1.19/mi. Uhaul did not respond to our email or correct the charge, and we had no choice but to dispute it at our bank, who probably swallowed it. This is a very dishonest business practice. Even though the dollar amount is not large, if UHaul fleeces enough customers, they could make billions through this type of cheating. This location did not initiate the 24/7 pickup option, so we had to call UHaul corporate and wait outside in the cold for an hour. Last but not least, UHaul virtual pickup should do the customer pickup verification beforehand. We checked in the night before, but the day of, when we were already at the UHaul site, UHaul said they could not verify our identity and needed a lease or passport, which are not documents people usually carry around on their person. This resulted in unnecessary delay and a lot of anxiety.

You all did not have the truck that I reserved at the location. I was not contacted that the reservation and moved to an entirely different City. an hour after my reservation was supposed to start I got a text message saying that there was now a new location. The pickup location staff we're extremely overworked and irritable because you have failed your customer and not provided rentals that you committed to. The entire experience was terrible, I will not be using your services again if I can help it, and I will tell anyone considering U-Haul not to use your services enthusiastically.

Really good check in process (online and in-person). Clean, well-maintained equipment. Thought it was strange to provide the vehicle with 3/8 tank of gas ( would be easier to just provide a full tank), but there were good instructions on how many gallons needed to fill it back to that level based on the fuel gauge.

I've never had such a struggle getting my uhaul. I went through uploading my ID more than 5 times. Did it never save? I had everything submitted and ready for pickup. Then come pickup I'm waiting in the cold from a response from my representative to get ahold of someone else to verify me? I've rented uhauls plenty of times and that's never happened to me. I wasn't aware that was a thing. The process was extremely slow and frustrating and not only that I had several problems with the app not saving my information or randomly closing me out. So my expierence wasn't bad because of the location but because of the overall process. Definitly needs some work. Also I don't understand the break up of my bill whatsoever. Why are there 2 charges? Where is the $11 coming from?

I didn't receive the 'condition of this vehicle' link in time to actually act on it- I also didn't get the invoice until the middle of the night even though I signed up for text info- this gave me some concerns but was glad to see it was processed as shown. The person working at the location was super great, friendly, thorough, professional. Best counter experience with UHaul I've had!

It would have been nice if the front desk person would have shown me where the key box was located. Instead his vague directions left me looking around the building for it and playing guess the clue from your equally vague online directions. Also, I had to stop for fuel within 10 miles of driving the van. It would be nice if there was a minimum. Then I returned it with more than I received out of consideration for the next customer. Overall - what I would expect.

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had as a consumer of anything. The instructions ahead of time were extremely poor leading to lots of confusion. The description of the location was useless and had me wandering around for 15 minutes trying to find the lock box. The Uhaul rep was unhelpful and told me I couldn't get the truck because I had an interlock designation on my license (it was a motorcycle endorsement) and I had to wait around for a manager to call me to clear things up. The truck was almost on empty for fuel, yet the contract instructions threatened to charge me a $30 fee if I returned it with less than a quarter tank. I paid for the estimate before taking the truck and had a charge notice on my credit card, but when I returned the truck the checkout process wanted to charge me the full amount again, so I clicked the box that said I didn't not agree with the charges and wrote a comment stating I had already prepaid for most of it. I was told that a customer service rep would contact me about the issue, but instead someone just manually entered my credit card info and charged my card without my authorization. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the customer support and overall experience of renting a Uhaul vehicle. It felt like I was dealing with some shady, scammy organization. I will not be using Uhaul again and I will be telling this story and warning others against it as well.

Working with the staff in person was Excellent 5/5 as was the overall experience using the van, but I had some issues trying to unlock the van before the store opened this morning. Luckily I had enough time so I wasn't in a rush or anything like that, but once I got to the screen to authorize unlocking the vehicle I just waited for like 10 minutes with no indication of how things were going.

I drove this van 3 miles and the fuel gauge did not change at all. The gentleman receiving the van lied about the placement of the fuel gauge and charged me for 1.5 gallons of fuel for driving 3 miles. Would never recommend this location or the Uhaul brand due to this dishonest business practice.

This was the single worst experience I have had moving, all due to the decision to rent a uhaul from this facility. Check out was a nightmare to begin with due to the employee at the front desk forcing me into doing online check in on my own so that he could help other customers. I did this in the app and returned to get the keys- he had forgotten already who I was and asked if I needed to rent a uhaul. I explained and was on my way. When I returned the uhaul, I was accosted by the same man asking “did you damage this truck???!?!” before I could even check it in via the app (I figured I'd be directed to do it there anyway). I did not damage the truck, and the dent he pointed to had been in the existing photos in the app during check in. The man took the keys so that I could not finish the process and then proceeded to argue with my partner and I for over 10 minutes. Why? We were polite and attempting to explain, but he kept demanding to see photos which we could not get on the app on our end SINCE THEY WERE EXISTING UPON CHECK IN. The man did not understand this and my partner had to demand that he return the keys so that we could do check in ourselves in the app because we felt unsafe with the employee doing it after demonstrating such rudeness and incompetence. Either someone from uhaul or the employee ended up charging me $165 dollars less than an hour after we left without any contact about the incident prior. This is over $100 more than my quote. I am waiting for uhaul to refund me now after finally having contacted corporate, but still haven't heard back.

My rental was 30 minutes late and then I was called and spoken rudely at dropped off even though I was 5 minutes early. It was not wiped down or cleaned at all. The car was barely even looked at before handed over.

24/7 online check in was not easy!! We kept trying to figuring it out (30 minutes later And still can't find keys) called costumer service and found someone inside the store... so grateful someone was there help us with our keys!!

I waited 45 minutes In the parking lot with bad service to get approved and was given instructions to pick up keys and the keys were incorrect. I had to wait again for a new code and try a different box with a different set of keys. I ordered a trolly however did not receive it with my van and got charged for it. Overall experience was okay but not good.

Driver's side mirror was shattered and still had blood on it. It not only made for an unsafe drive, but was also disgusting. The clerk was friendly and helpful which is why this gets two stars rather than one, but I will not recommend this location to anybody.

As an independent contractor, this was the Dirtiest Van I have rented from the numerous U-Haul Locations. It's a great location Downtown Seattle. The U-Haul Rep said Management was aware of the Broken Driverside Mirror and the dirty mud covered van. I know it Rains here but it hasn't in the last couple days so it looked bad. I did not like showing up to my client's house looking like that.

The truck was filthy and full of used mattress pads. I used one gallon of gas, they charged me almost $40 to refill one gallon and when i disputed the charge they ignored me and charged me anyway.

The attendant saw that I was having difficulty with the computer system and from a distance guided me through the process. Without her help, my process would have been quite unpleasant, perhaps intolerable. She was instrumental in making my experience a positive one.

Had a really great experience with this branch! I called in first to check if my van was ready, but the previous renter was returning it later. The person at the office called me back to let me know when it was ready, moved the truck to a more convenient location to find, and also extended my rental time. Be sure to call the Seattle Vault Storage number directly though (2064675309)! The number listed on the uhaul page just goes to the regional office, and the person who answered was extremely grumpy and unhelpful.

Employee at pick up location had locked all the doors to his shop. He would not crack the door open to talk to me. Became visibly upset when I tried to communicate with him. The truck was dirty. The exit gate did not open.

I was unable to access my 24/7 rental and due to Covid I had to wait on the helpline for 20mins before the kind lady on the phone informed there was an issue with my booking. She fixed it straight away and had me going but the fact it took that long was a real bummer.

The gentleman working at the office for our pickup location was one of the rudest and most uptight and miserable individuals I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. He was hostile and belligerent, and cut me off in conversation numerous times saying that he was going out of his way to do me a favor, when in reality he was simply doing his job and what we paid U-Haul for. This man clearly hates his life and his job, and should absolutely not be working with the public in customer service. His attitude and demeanor created a lot of unnecessary stress in the process, not sure if I will be using U-Haul ever again.

I had a truck booked for a move from 11am-midnight. I was informed shortly before my reservation time that the truck was out of order and I needed to call in to have a new truck booked for me. The original vehicle I reserved was 5 minutes walking distance near my home, and they booked me a truck that was 30 minutes driving distance from me. Not only did I have to acquire a vehicle to get the truck, but it added time to my move when I had people coming to help me at specific times. I should not be responsible for Uhaul's mishap which cost me gas money on the personal vehicle and the Uhaul truck, higher rental price due to $/mile, and wasted time that took my move late into the night.
