I didnt realize the pads and dolly was a rate per day. Thought it was a set rate. Only thing i would make clear to people for future use. And thanks to the guys for being nice about us keeping it too long.

First when I arrived I had to wait 45min till I was able to even go out and look at the trailer then once we went out to connect the trailer they guy couldn’t even lift the trailer so I had to help him and it was very heavy then I was told to click on the link that they txted me so I could take pics of the trailer but I only had 15 min to do that and I couldn’t even open the link it kept saying the server was not responding. after hooking up the trailer he just left and had to go and help some other people and had this younger kids checking the lights to make sure they all worked and he said all was good that when I finished taking my pictures I was all set to go well while taking pictures of the trailer I opened it up and there was still stuff left in the trailer! After I left and used the trailer I came back to drop it off and the same manager bob was there and no one else to help him get the trailer off so again I had to help him bc he couldn’t get it I don’t think that’s right to have your customers have to lift a trailer and I also don’t think it’s a good thing to have a manager swearing about a company and saying that he hates going to another location that has U-Haul and he would rather be anywhere else and he also said that he worked at a location his location but they use Penske and he likes them way more and that he’s told them they could get more business if they got trailers bc there are so many issues with U-Haul. I understand people have pros and cons of places but when you working for one you don’t go off to customers bad mouthing them saying how horrible they are that’s not ok! I’m sorry this is so long but someone needed to know what happened!

The truck had a dent in the side that the guy tried blaming on us. He recorded the wrong start milage and charged us for 20 extra miles and tried charging me for an extra day when I only had it for 24 hours and it was reserved for 24 hours. He never did an inspection on the truck with us in the beginning then tried saying we damaged the truck. Worst experience with uhaul ever!

Only issue is it appears your software is not friendly. Brian was excellent but saw experienced his frustration. Took him about 45 minutes to get me through. Experienced similar frustration about ten days earlier in Oxford location, but not quite as bad. Seemed to be a software issue with my towing vehicle which is just an 04 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado. That vehicle should just prefill...

Everything went as scheduled. The guys in Durand took great care of us. Using the big truck was the way to go. Thank you so much. Would refer the Durand location to anyone.

It took me forever to find the drop/key box as it was dark when I returned the uhaul and there was no instructions on my paperwork as where the box was. Not to mention I was billed for gas that I didnt owe and then billed for one thing left in the back of the uhaul.

I take partial blame for the two screw-ups, but they still piss me off. 1 - They did not have enough packing blankets packaged so they just counted out the remainder and gave them to me. I did not verify the count. At the end of the trip I was 1 blanket short so I had to "buy" it. However, I checked everywhere and am convinced that I did not lose one. I think the original count was wrong. 2 - I was told I had until the 25th to turn in the truck. I arrived just before closing on the 25th and was told that since I had not returned it by 9 AM I had to pay for an extra day. No one told me that - but it was written on the contract so I was stuck. Yes, I should have read the contract.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that I had done the "Express Online Check-in" the day before and I still had to go through almost all the same steps and questions when I arrived. That being said, the check-in process was pretty quick and easy and they got me on my way without delay. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend.

Mr. Bridges, Even the day I came to pick up the truck I was given the wrong page with incorrect mileage for the truck and also was told truck was on Full and we had to get the guy and show him that it was at a ½ a tank. Its obvious to me that your staff at the Main street location are incompetent and make poor decision without discussing with the person your taking money from. WORD of Mouth is very important in a small town like Jasper. I will not be renting any trucks from this location ever again. I don’t feel like my situation was handled correctly. If there was a HOLD on the $101 and then they added the $73 and THEN noticed THEIR mistake they should have just deposited the 73$ back to my account. Instead of charging me another 101$ when you weren’t even sure the other 101 had been deposited yet and not calling me and discussing this situation. I will be forwarding my email to Uhaul corporation in hope that this situation doesn’t happen to another hard working American. Anyone who is moving is stressed about money and every cent counts with opening new accounts with a new house. I was not expecting to be charge an additional $100 and I am having to deal with the consequences of your Ill trained employees. When we picked up the trailer we were told by this location that we could return the trailer to any location in San Diego - NOT TRUE! We tried to drop it off at two locaitons and were refused. Had to drive 20 miles out of our way to return the trailer!
