When you know ahead of time that you dont have a truck at a location that you reserved for, dont wait at the last minute to tell the customer that you dont have what they reserved for.
SABRINA S.U-Haul did NOT exceed my expectation of service. The process throughout my whole moving ordeal has been absolutely horrible. The customer service from each rep that I talked to excluding three people out of the AT LEAST 12 was horrible. I'm very disappointed and will think otherwise I'm the future or even recommending the company to a friend.

Charrdall K.The website process is wonky, at best. Furthermore, you don't include in the email confirming your order that I needed to go in and do anything further, i.e. register my license. Then, and most ANNOYINGLY, at the end of the process to do all that you ask for my passport, a friends contact, a utility bill, etc to prove I am who I am. How about this? You already have my license # and photo of back and front. Use that to prove who I am. That was such bs when you don't know you have to do it in the first place. Very disappointing and a big hassle.

Leigh B.This is my 3rd time using UHaul and my very last time. Each time the experience was terrible. In most locations (except the East Brunswick NJ location) the people who worked at the places were nasty or extremely unhelpful. In 2 of the 3 cases, the van we ordered (for a drop off at a different location) wasn't available and we had to basically beg for help to resolve the issue, as the employees look to us to solve what was UHaul's problem. We were then both times sent to drive to another location to pick up the van, only to find out we were given at truck - which we didn't need, want or like to drive and couldn't' take on some rides. Overall a terrible experience. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Thomas L.When I picked up the truck the Windows were dirty and the mirrors were dirty. I really think when you pick up a rental the customer shouldn't be the one cleaning the windows and mirrors.

Claudette G.When I made my reservation online, I selected the nearest location to me. When the conformation came, it was for a location almost 20 miles away! When I called I was told it was a glitch in their system. That glitch @$1 per mile = Over $40! The rental was $19! Doubled the cost. I rebooked and got a different location, still much closer than where uhaul tried to send me. Makes Uhaul apear very shady and dishonest.
