When boxes arrived to my home 2.5 hours later than said time, the folks vehicle that delivered them were not running properly. Then, when I go to pay my uhaul payment I’m told that the payment is $179 plus an additional $200 for the delivery. No, that’s not what we agreed upon. I was told that the total amount with delivery would be $200. Needless to say that is where it went down hill. Seth’s Automotive was totally disrespectful and not professional. I emailed her to tell her that I needed my items on a certain date, no reply. I then call her and she told me she couldn’t do Friday night and would need to do it Saturday. I rearranged my help to help Saturday morning and the GM Dave would bring the boxes to me as we discussed. I get a voicemail Friday night that nope, can’t do it Saturday either. So, I had to take a day off from work to go over to get these boxes myself. Then when I get there the price again changed. I am not happy about this whole process and would like a refund. I will not recommend this service in the future. One unhappy customer.

There are three parts of your service, The Pick up, the Drop off and the Uhaul reservation system. As I have rated the Pick up and Drop Off Service are excellent. The Uhaul reservation system is POOR. I reserved a truck and a car trailer at least 3 weeks in advance. The truck was close to me, but the car trailer was over 2 1/2 hours away. There was no way I could get it. Who in your business thinks that having a rental vehicle 2 1/2 hours away is good customer service!!! I could go on. But I will never rent from Uhaul again.

U-Haul boxes met our needs perfectly as we live in an area no pod company would service. Even though U-Haul sent us to Fort Lupton instead of Longmont, an extra 30 minutes, to pick up the boxes, the folks at Fort Lupton were friendly and very helpful. The boxes were easy to load. Seth's Automotive offered excellent, personal service at the receiving end. Renee went above and beyond to schedule delivery arrangements. The option to store the boxes until we were ready is a huge benefit. We would definitely recommend U-Haul boxes and especially Seth's Automotive for your moving needs!

We were rushed to sign off on trailer because she ran out of stickers she even picked out some herself to sticker and the link didn’t work to sign off in damage or scratches on truck part. So it was surprising when we went back for trailer and she tried to rush us, we were uncomfortable with it and her manner. She said it’s Uhauls way. I told her it was our money that would be replacing or fixing things and didn’t feel comfortable being rushed or told it didn’t matter. She was very pushy and not considerate that we were trying to pack and it was already a long day and stressful to move...as with anyone. I think a place that is just Uhaul like in Idaho would understand that more because it’s their business to move. I feel like this place did not understand that. There were places on the trailer where there was scratches, gouges and one place a lose top of door area not marked by x’s etc. She also did NOT understand “express check in” which I told her meant I already paid for it and did license info. She told me that that was unusual and didn’t know about it. When we went back for trailer she tried to charge us for the trailer again and I showed her I had a receipt that said it was paid for. After 20 mins she finally realized there was a second page. It is odd that she didn’t understand express check in and our check in was anything but that as far as in the office went because she didn’t understand it. It was frustrating. We have rented from Uhaul before and always had a good experience. We got moved to Lyndonville location because Littleton didn’t have our truck and trailer last minute. Which I hadn’t experienced before and didn’t realize that could happen.

My location chosen was more than an hour from preferred. Only choice was mobile pickup but the cell service at the location was inadequate. Whole process took almost 2 hours and was very frustrating. Drop off location had same issue. Truck has a light out in back and was hard to drive.

Guy took my key. Didn’t check the truck or give me a receipt. The next day was charged a cleaning fee of $25, which was ridiculous Bc the truck was returned in exactly the same condition it was in when I picked it up. There was some minor dirt and dust from the move. That was completely swept by me before returning the vehicle.

I was charged extra mileage although all I did was drive from point a to point b. I paid for the gas and was billed for extra mileage. Good thing I live 5 miles from the drop off or I would be charged a lot more. Terrible way to do business!!!!

This isn’t related to my reservation & not any particular location: I had a reservation for Saint Johnsbury VT & U-Haul changed it to Lyndonville, which is a much further location, the day right before. Both locations were great & personnel extremely helpful, but the change was beyond their control.

After a serious SNAFU with the original pick-up location, the experience was very good. Due to my difficulties with UHaul re: policies of availability regardless of reservation I will not use Uhaul again if any other company is available; even if I have to drive a distance to get equipment.

My brother made the arrangements,with Seth at Seth's Automotive in Lyndonville, Vermont. I received email notifications 'along the way' and when my pod arrived at the U-Haul Moving and Storage in South Ocala, Florida I called to find out next steps. Samona did the research, called me back within an hour, answering all of my questions and at my request was able to change my delivery date. Alyssa.was the driver who delivered and picked up the pod; she called ahead providing arrival and pickup times. Alyssa ensured I knew how to open the pod and how to close it back up with the protective covering so items inside would not get wet. Thank you Seth, Samona and Alyssa for 5 STAR Customer Service!

I had a 10 Hour Drive with the 26 foot V10 Ford and it was so comfortable to drive, I have been driving U-Haul trucks since the early 1970s and they have come a long ways . Two thumbs up .

My U Box experience could not have been worse. From U Haul listing and processing payment for a vendor that hasn’t works for UHaul for 6 months. So, only because I contacted the vendor two days before my move, did I find out they do not perform this service even though they have told UHaul may times. So this left me without movers 2 days before my move. I had to discover this my self. It took over 3 hours on the phone with UHaul to resolve this and get another vendor. On the delivery side it was more of the same. I received notice from UHaul that my boxes had arrived. The vendor confirmed with UHaul, and then with me, they were picking up my boxes for delivery to me at 0900 the next day. When they got there the boxes were not ready as they didn’t have orange weather protection covers and the General Mgr. was going to pick some up 2 hours away. It took 4 hours of talking with UHaul, both corporate, local and regional, UHaul scheduling, to get someone to release the boxes without weather coves. It is So.CA in June it doesn’t rain and only a 20 minutes drive to my house. Finally They release the boxes but not before they required the movers to rent one of their trucks because they said their trailer hitch was insufficient, though this mover does this all the time for UHaul, and charged me for the truck rental, plus I had to pay the movers 4 hours waiting time while we fought with UHaul. All this ended up costing me an additional $300. Truly UHaul has not figured out this UBox Service. Run, don’t walk away from them.

The truck smelled incredibly of cigarette smoke. It was almost bad enough that I couldn't use it. Limiting smoking would be a great policy if you don't already. And a fee for clearing out the stink if the policy is ignored

Take off the 75 MPH speed limit/governor. That's fine for vermont where the limit is 65 MPH but not safe for southern states where limit is 70 MPH. A limit of 80 is reasonable.

I would not say the truck was all that clean but it was a lousy time of year with lots of snow. But there was old food in the truck and the floor was crusted with salt. In comparison, when I returned the truck, I witnessed how well those trucks were being cleaned up return. The truck was not filthy, but there was obviously no effort to clean it.
