Very hard to find location. Drove by 3 times trying to make sure I was at right place
Shawn BMy email confirmation said to be at 1313 9th Ave, Watertown at 9:00 AM, there was a sign on the door to call two numbers if nobody was present, I was routed to the other side of town for my truck rental, then instead of a 20ft truck I reserved, they instead gave me a 26ft truck. Much harder to get into narrow spots, much worse gas mileage too. The loading ramp didn't slide back in place very well, in fact, had to really "slam it home" to get it to latch, hurt my left wrist when trying to get it back in place.
David BPut in a sensor to let employee's that may be out side working on another trailer or what ever know that a customer is there.
Jjerry RI was told 40 cents per mile on a one way and he did not enter it correctly so I was charged a $1 per mile for the extra miles. I just did a one way from California to South Dakota and spent about $8000 on that rental and it was 40 cents for extra miles. Called UHAUL CORPORATE and they would not give me a refund for the over charge. Very bad business practice. I need to rent another truck to move to my final destination in a few weeks and now I have a very bad feeling about doing business with Uhaul again. CORPORATE said they would call the dealer and make sure he knows the policy...and not help me. Not a good business practice!!

Richard KThere are 2 locations for this business, but they both take U-haul returns. We returned our trailer to the site that was closed. Just dropped it off, called the office and let them know. Again, everything went smoothly!
GINA DThis location was over 100 miles away from the location that I listed as my pickup location. This cost me 3,5 hours and at least 14 gallons of gas. This is not the fault of the location but U-Haul in general. I called U-Haul to complain and they responded with "there are other customers that have to travel 500 miles to get their equipment" that is garbage customer service and that just tells me that you are willing to treat me worse than you already are. Next time I will go to Penske.
Michael SThe vehicle was originally reserved in Aberdeen SD. I had to drive 110 miles one-way to retrieve this vehicle to complete the move. I would recommend compensating the renter in some way other than giving additional miles back to the moving location. After flying from Tennessee to Aberdeen SD, I basically had no other option than to pick this vehicle up to complete the move. I was notified a vehicle was not available in Aberdeen while on my lay over in Minneapolis. Very fortunate Sheehan reached out to meet our needs.
Dwight HI wanted a van, but the closest available were in Brookings. So maybe consider having a van in your fleet.
Lisa CNo office staff. Just a drop off location but there was a staff person who didn’t work for Uhaul that was there who was very helpful letting me know exactly where to park.
Theresa HThis feedback is regarding the corporate office in Fargo, ND. In an effort to improve the customer experience for everyone I recommend you hire more employees so the phone can be answered. Sitting on hold for over an hour is never a pleasant experience for anyone. Up to the day of rental I was left knowing nothing about where I should pick vehicle up (Sheehan's have several locations); I could only get ahold of the local office and unfortunately they were at the mercy of corporate. On the day of moving (over 200 miles away) the vehicle I rented an paid for was NOT available with no other vehicles available. After 2hrs of waiting for corporate to pick up phone and a vehicle to arrive I ended up with resorting to a trailer (zero discount). Thank God I had a truck to do so otherwise I would've been without anything. Moving is stressful enough and u can ease moving day stress for your customer by having the items available at the time agreed upon in the contract as well as good customer service & communication between local & corporate office.
Misty FI always get great service from these people. They go above and beyond what is required. The only place I go in Watertown.

Todd OWhen I made the reservation the total came to around $130 when I picked the uhaul up it needed up being $260. Don't know how the price changed that dramatically but that was ridiculous. Wasn't necessarily the locations problem but uhaul itself

Jordan SWhen I dropped the trailer off I called the uhaul number and talked to a.very unhappy gal on the phone. She told me I would be paying double for dropping at a different location. Sorry but I thought I was going where I requested. Not a happy customer!!!!

Kerry BPerson who knew how to do rental was at different location. Waited 40 minutes for them to arrive and do rental paperwork. Evidently the other 4 people who were there don't do rentals???
brig sDid not go inside the building, or communicate with any employees; I dropped my cargo trailer off on a Sunday when this location is closed, and followed the instructions on the phone app to turn in the trailer. VERY easy instructions and everything worked great!
