We rented a small moving truck from a different location when we went to pick up the vehicle it was not available. So they made a reservation at a different one which is this one on charter Way at the Shell station. I believe we were charged for 3 days I think but I'm not sure but what we requested before they moved it from there. We requested it wasfor a week and it was approved but they took it upon themselves to call it a stolen vehicle because they had only written down the 3 days but nobody said anything to us about that and not even to bring it back. I did call one time and asked and what date was due and that we wanted it for a week and they stayed with. That's why the song is credit card to file and then they arrested myself on the street and he's in jail for like embezzling this U-Haul that he had for the right amount but they charge stronger wrote it down wrong. they charged us but I guess it was only I think 2 days and then I was giving them another credit card and they're going to take it

GANDHI SINGHThe site representative should verify that everything is in the truck. The site representatives also should not be argumentative with customers specially customers, and are being argumentative. I could see if you had a customer that was kind of being a pain but still I paid a lot of money to use that truck and whether I'm picking up or dropping off I don't feel like I should've been treated so poorly. If there is customer service issues that need to be addressed, you should be able to address that in a professional manner and the representative that received my check was not professional at all.

mark castanedaI had a Uhaul reserved @ 8th st location which the truck was not there. 8th st was suppose to transfer my info to Charter way location which it was not. I called 8th st location which clerk spoke with Charter way clerk still no transfer once the phone was handed back to me I ask clerk on phone did you transfer my info he hung up on me. Charter way is very slow on checking in my return no customer's in store 2 clerks 1 was outside but he was standing near door when I said I have a return then walked away now the lady clerk has to wait on him. I left Uhaul and came back hours later to complete return. 8th st needs customer service classes

Patelisia InukihaanganaSupposed to pick up trailer in Turlock. Uhaul called to say closest 1 was over an hour away. Decided on tow dolly…they sent me to ghetto central to pick it up! Homeless crackheads in parking lot. We had to come up with 2 references that they actually called to verify because so many Uhauls get stolen from this location! We use Uhaul fairly regularly for trailer rentals…never had to be verified by references. Definitely shows how scary neighborhood was. What happened to picking up equipment where i requested? Plus I had to drive an extra 50 min to pick up. Accident on freeway returning & spent 3 hours getting back to original location. Thanks Uhaul! It's wasnot like I had anything else to do the day before moving day!

Rashid AliI reserved a truck the day before it was needed. When we arrived to the pick up location I wasn't able to check in. After calling customer service, the service agent was able to help me with the tech issues. I received the notification to show the attendant but he would not give me the keys as his end of the system showed I did not complete the process. I was escalated to a manager by phone which made it worse because she was undoing everything the store attendant was doing. After about an hour of canceling and redoing my reservation, someone else reserved the truck I had been trying to pick up. This was the only truck in my city so I had no other option. The entire process lasted almost two hours.

Jonathan JohnsonThey did not even give us a dolly. They were very disorganized, gave us the wrong keys to the wrong vehicle. I took the time to check in online and that was wasted because they asked me all of the same questions and made me go through the same process as if I had not checked in.

Glen KernThe lady working the computer didn't know what she as doing and instead of using all the data I had already inputted online she basically redid the whole process and it took a reall my long time and made me late for the movers. The place is also in a really gross gas station. Truck had broken things like the driver side door lock and things inside the cabin. Overall weird experience

DJUANA HALEThis location has something fraudulent going on. The guy pretended he did not have my 15' truck for the one way even though I pointed it out several times. He then reluctantly got the key. I do not know what that was about. Then he tried to over charge me for mileage claiming it was uhaul. Once I picked up my phone to call Uhaul he fixed the mileage. When I reached my destination he changed my one way to an in town noting to charge me double. Uhaul was amazing and fixed it! I later learned this was a dealer and they get the money so I assume this is why he was being shady!! Avoid at all costs or make sure you triple check everything if you have to use them!!!
