Pick up and drop off (after hours) were both relatively smooth. Truck had check engine light on (due to gas cap per attendant), but I was not informed of this at time of initial paperwork. I had to come back into the office to ask. Also, was told tank was 1/4 full when in reality it was 1/8 full; of course, I was obligated to return 1/4 full. Didn't notice this until on the road when it was too late to turn back.
Kerry GMobile pickup was difficult. Tried several times using both the website and mobile app. We ended up reaching out by phone and was transferred to a rideshate rep who took her time and walked us through the process. She was able to walk us through the continued issues we were having while we were together on the phone. She was exceptional. The process to pick up the truck ended up taking about 40 minutes. Once we were able to get the code and key from the lock box, we got the truck and realized right away that the blankets we added tpo our service were not in the truck. She advises that she would remove the charge but that ended up being done by the rep at drop off as he saw that the charge was still on the reservation.

Erneste HI cannot remember the attendance name I am very sorry for that because he was so kind and helpful and I really believe he should have some credit for what he did here because without his assistance and the way he cared about my situation I would not have had the experience I had and his guidance through the whole process made everything relieving and easy going, I would recommend this place highly honestly I think it's probably the most simple and efficient way I've ever incurred regarding any kind of a rental specially a box truck that can help you move!

Eddie TI rent a van about 6 times a month and it's become a quick in and out transaction. Sometimes, a prior client will leave a receipt or 2 laying around (not this time) but otherwise, clean.

Shirley GIt was well maintained so I didn't want to check no but it was absolutely not clean - food in door pockets, crumbs everywhere and smelly. It was a little ironic to be charged $25 for cleaning considering the condition I picked it up in. The rest of it was great and without hassle so I would still recommend and use again but the vehicles need to be cleaned between uses.
Kerri PThe app and mobile check-in is a convenient way to go rent your truck and pick it up but there is some flaws. Sometimes it gets complicated where you have to do so much to make sure it's checked in and I had to call customer service because when I entered the mileage on return, it wouldn't except it, I put 12 miles on it. Had it for about two hours hopefully I don't get charged when I'm not supposed to be charged overall I'd run from them again.
Marc CI have rented many dozens of times from UHaul locations in CT, RI, MA, DC, FL over the past 30 years. Shelton Storage Solutions in Shelton CT is BY FAR the best location on all levels: equipment, store organization and cleanliness, ease of use to rent, and most importantly, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE…ALWAYS friendly and knowledgeable staff…all led by Rebecca the store manager! William Zhave more vans available. with 3 vans in the parking area and one parked right out in front of the office, i was told not one was available for me to use to carry a table top. this was at 3:40 in the afternoon.

Darryl EI like this location a lot. Its a small location but it always has what we need. I have used it many times. The people are very nice. The parking location for the trailers is down the hill in a semi secluded location. The trailer parking lot is a little tight but doable.

mark mHard to find and the road/driveway to drop off the truck is in need of some serious repair. No signs or indications of where to drop off the truck, it was guess work. Glad I guessed right as there would have been No room to turn that size truck around. The Waterbury location… MUCH better - more like state-of-the-art truck rental center.
john jLocation is very convenient. The building is well-maintained and the staff is extremely friendly. The only reason I wouldn't rate this location excellent is because the parking lot and road leading to the parking lot for the equipment is not good. The road leading has many pot holes, and therefore the location is just average

VIRGINIA HI've done this any times. Easy pick up, after hours return. One suggestion is to have the tank full at the beginning of a rental so we just refill when we return and not guess how much we used. Not a big deal.
