Website did not provide me with a van that was in stock at the location, brooklyn rep I called was unhelpful, attendant on location was unwilling to help me out til 8am precisely, proceeded to leave as soon as the clock struck 8am. 2nd attendant was helpful but by then my van was an hour later than scheduled.

This location was super convenient in Williamsburg and the staff was really helpful and made the process quick and easy. I picked up a van at 9:00PM and dropped it off at 12:30AM with no issues. I would definitely use this location again.

After I made my reservation it was automatically changed to self-check-in, which I didn't want, but when I showed up at the window the guys working there were super friendly and helpful and got me all sorted. They also extended my reservation to cover more time since it wouldn't cost any more and that turned out to be a smart move. Would definitely go back here again.

I ordered a utility dolly, but when I arrived for reservation, it was not available. Reserving a utility dolly should not be possible if the location doesn’t have any. I would have chosen a different location had I known as it made my move more difficult. Additionally, I was still charged for this utility dolly despite speaking to someone in person and then trying to request for a refund. If you just need the van/truck and nothing else, this location is super convenient and quick.

when i arrived no one was there to serve the clients, i was waiting there like 15 minutes the agent sell arrive! also i called in on the phone to ask them to extend my reservation but no one picked up a phone. this needs a big change.

Very expensive. That "$20 a day" is very misleading. One day cost me $120 with the insurance and 46 miles driven.

I ordered blankets and none were available. I understand that this can happen but it would have been great to know this ahead of time. I was counting on receiving the blankets I ordered to protect my furniture during the move.

I ordered a dolly and moving blankets but they were not available. There were no supplies available for purchase at this location either (although one of them found a used roll of tape and gave it to me). The steering wheel was so worn, that even after cleaning the wheel, it still felt dirty.

When I received the car the fuel level was on 1/8. I have a photo of it (took straight after I received the keys, before started driving). When I returned a car the fuel level was a just a bit lower that 1/4. So I returned a car with more fuel than it was when I received it. And was charged $38 extra for the fill up service. This must be some kind of mistake, please send a refund.

I've rented from this location 3 times this month for my business. I received 1 vehicle with 1/8 tank of gas, another with a dirty interior, and was met with a very rude attendant one of the times (most recent pick up). On that same visit, I had to move multiple trucks myself to get to the truck that was reserved for me. It seems to me that that truck should have been pulled forward in advance of the pick up time. At the very least, the attendant should have retrieved the vehicle for me, particularly because I was not renting any of the other truck I had to move and would not have been responsible for any damage that might have occurred while trying to them around in a very tight parking lot. The attendant only came to help when I got stuck.

The staff are helpful, fast and courteous. Gave a 3 star bc our 10. Ft truck came with a side mirror that kept moving and making it difficult to drive. We had to duct tape the mirror which helped but was not cool. We weren’t informed the mirror wasn’t working. I was weary to get my truck from this location, bc of the other reviews—this place isn’t terrible, but could use some extra help and care of their vehicles.

Was blown away by the terrible customer service. When I went to return the uhaul to the agreed location they said I couldn't return it there and what me to travel over an hour out of my way to return it. Eventually I just refused and left the keys on the counter and left.

Simply make the expectations for where the trucks need to be parked clear. Every time I return my van there were three vans parked in the wrong lot or trying to move all with drivers who are uncomfortable driving trucks.

The customer service was awful, slow, rude. And he didn't care about anyone waiting for him. Only one person was sitting there. He was watching music videos on his phone while we were there!! When I placed my order, out was done over the phone, and i specifically asked for a 24 hour return, instead i was told I Need to return the car in 4 hours!! The gas was not where it sais it was. I was given no printed contract. I've used U haul several times, and after this experience I will never use it again. I haven't even checked my bill yet, but I'm certain I've been over charged!

The representative did not know how to use the U-Haul system properly, couldn’t remove sales tax from my rental, which was tax exempt. I have since email tax@uhaul.com and am hoping for a response. Please help.

I was charged double the original rate for a false late return fee, fuel fee, and my "SafeMove" fee was doubled for absolutely no reason. I have images showing that the fuel meter was higher than the agent indicated and showing that I returned the truck a full 2 hours before what was indicated as well. Avoid this place at all costs.

I rented 2 trucks from you guys this weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from the two attendants that helped me with my rental... They were both super friendly, super competent, and really went out of their way to help me. No surprises, no hassles - it was a pleasure working with both of them. I will highly recommend you guys in the future.

I hate fighting about how much gas there is in the tank. The tank showed 7/8s but your paperwork showed more. Always dicking around with this. You end up charging me more money.

No signage or instructions. Confusing location. The app’s directions to find van were incorrect. Onsite personnel unfamiliar with app. Van was extremely dirty with pet hair, grime, and dust. Dropoff instructions similarly confusing and incorrect.

I was pressured to take the uhual with a very low pressured right back tire. I asked the attendant to fill it up or give me a different truck. He told me it was a faulty center and the truck was fine and just told me to take it. After loading the truck up with furniture, the back right tire was visibly very low and I was very concerned with the tire blowing. On top of everything I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. There was no garbage in the vehicle, so I have no idea why i was charged this fee.

The 24/7 smartphone pickup feature did not work, apparently because I ordered a 15’ truck (even though I was allowed to proceed booking the order with this feature). This was very inconvenient because I had planned on this feature working when scheduling my move. The system should be updated so to not advertise functionality that doesn’t exist.

Absolutely horrible experience. All computer systems were down when I arrived for pickup. Service rep was not computer literate nor was he solution oriented in trying to get the queue of customers into their trucks. Truck was dirty and didn't have much fuel in it. Afterwards had multiple issues getting in touch with Customer Service / Billing to resolve a dispute in fees. Will not be doing business with UHaul again.
