Truck was given to me nearly completely empty on fuel. I had barely enough to make it to a gas station. The battery was bad and required a jump to get out of the lot, then again at the gas station, then again leaving to move. Awful experience and I will be avoiding U-Haul as much as possible going forward.

Had made an appointment to pick up 6x12 tandem trailer at the Vidor Tx location. Waited 1 1/2 hours for someone to come. After several phone calls and voicemails to the posted phone numbers and no one returned my calls I was directed to another location in Kountze Texas. The first trailer I was assigned had a bent tongue. I showed this to the employee and he insisted I take it like that. I told him no and he assigned another trailer to me. I was told I would drop the trailer off in Fredericksburg Texas. When the return date came I was told to drive to Harper Texas to return it. An 80 mile additional round trip for me. I completed my contract obligations and later found out that I was charged an extra day of $30,8 for no reason. I called U-Haul and reported this. Was promised I would be credited for this extra charge. Still haven't heard back from anyone.

The only good thing about this u-haul rental was that the drop off location had adequate space for me to park a truck.

Owner in charge was not at the location. He sent a worker to help me get the trailer hooked up and that worked out fine. I talked to the owner on the phone asking about the 12 blankets I had reserved: Him: We don't have any blankets Me: Yes, you do. I can see them in the window. Him: I don't have a key to get in the building. Me: Hmm, that doesn't make sense. Him: Do you really need the blankets? Me: Yes, I'm moving antique furniture. Him: Can't help you, yada, yada, yada Me: You have to help me. Him: I'll check something and call you back. Ten minutes later he arrives at the facility, opens the door and gets the blankets for. WTH was all the lying about? I assume he just didn't want to make a trip up to help me.

The uhaul leaked on the driver's side driver got very wet while it was raining. When went to pick up uhaul. Had to clean out the trailer. It was in need of sweeping out

We scheduled pick up at 10am, but no one was at the location when we arrived. I called and he was at another location so he sent his sister with the truck key. She showed up 10 minutes later and gave us the key and drove off. We had to hook up the car dolly ourselves! They didn't have the appliance dolly we ordered. After hooking everything up and driving to our house the tail lights stopped working. Tried to get it fixed but Uhaul customer service is a joke. Was on hold for a total of 2 hours (got disconnected after 30 mins on hold 3 times). One tire on the car dolly started throwing chunks of rubber so we decided to pull into a Uhaul location in Marshall, TX. We worked with the person there to call around until we got everything figured out. Took about an hour to get everything fixed and us back on the road. Absolute WORST experience I've ever had with Uhaul!

This has nothing to do with this location. Twice the amount of the quote was taken out of my account. I called U-haul right away. Promised to get me paid back. A week later they are still saying it is in processing. That it is up to my bank when they release it but my bank has not received it yet. I am getting another 3 to 5 business days. This is wrong and theft in my opinion. U-Haul is NOT backing there word.

I did the truck inspection before leaving location. While driving down the road, a bottle of prescription narcotics (I guess from a previous renter) rolled out and hit my foot. This would have been great trying to explain to a cop.

The dad that answered the phone was very rude. His son was great. No one was available I had to hook up my trailer. No office bldg was a dump.

There is no office here at this location just a # to call and I had to wait 15 minutes to show. No uniform id or anything and he rented me this truck over his phone and that was a problem. Need more inspections of these locations representing Uhaul.

Location was in front of a old rundown vacated business. The u-haul representative was professional and friendly.

The truck was not clean, full of pet hair inside cab of truck. Also, I was charged $50 additional for fuel and I had to fill up when picked up truck and also put gas in when returned.

The truck I rented was out of gas which I filled and left 1/2 a tank of gas that was worth about $45. I feel that I should be reimbursed for the extra gas left in the truck because the site I got it from didn't fill it before I rented it. The cab and the back had all kinds of trash left in it and I had to clean out.

would prefer eye to eye rental,ordered appliance dolly and it was not in truck,just a lot of hassle when done over phone,taking pictures etc

Location was not open when I arrived despite being business hours. I called & staff eventually came but was 15 minutes later than quoted. Pre-paid dolly & pads were not in truck and I had to request before driving off.

Truck only had half tank of gas when i picked it up, so i had to spend twice as much money to return it with a full tank.
