Truck should be looked at as the steering wheel would be all over the place and I didn’t feel safe driving it. Then another issue I Came across was being overcharged. The lady and I counted the miles used together when I returned the truck. But she said I was charged for two day because I was a few minutes late from renting the truck under 24 hours. She mentioned the uhaul system wouldn’t let her only charge for one day and that it did it on its own and for me to contact uhaul to get reimbursed for the “extra day” that I was supposedly charged. I was not given a receipt, she told me to just take a picture of the receipt. My wife received the receipt from uhaul.com and noticed that we weren’t charged for two days, but was overcharged with the miles. We used 49 miles, which the lady and I counted together and I took a picture of it all. On the receipt it states that I used 119 miles instead of the 49 miles that was actually used. We then called customer service and was told that a complaint has been made and it will take about three days for management to review and get an outcome of the issue. I feel it is ridiculous what the lady did, pretty shady and just not professional.

Drove vehicle for 13 miles, returned within hour. Clerk told me she would email me my statement, she charged me 11 for gas, she told me she would charge me 5, then she charged me a 30 fill up fee, never disclosed. I could have walked out side and filled it up but she said this was quicker. I will never use this uhaul service again and I expect a credit for at least the 6$ she added to the gas charge and the 30. service fee. I am heading over to discuss this with the clerk. This is robbery as far as I am concerned.

This location did not expect me, and I had to bring up the reservation on my phone so he knew what was going on. I had to prove I reserved it. Wrote all my credit card and DL info. down on a scratch piece of paper then later in the day a stranger called asking for my DL and CC # again. I did not feel comfortable giving this info. out again so just not professional. Not a secure transaction.

The nice lady barely spoke English, which is normally not a problem. However, she told me that the odometer showed that I owed $2683.00! Nooo.... I paid in full in advance and did not drive anywhere near the limit. She said the information about mileage on the iPad showed wrong information. I finally had to ask if I could leave because she was so confused and took so long. It seems that the whole system could use some quality control, but at least the truck worked great.

The woman could barely speak english so understanding her was very difficult. She did not do a walk around inspection with us at all. Just handed us the keys and told us the # of truck we were looking for . After having truck half way full it started to rain and leaked water heavely in the truck causing damage to alot of my property. Furthermore , she closed early and we had to leave truck there with keys inside it. Now we are being charged outrageous amount of $ and the man at that location was very rude to us on phone and kept hanging up on us . What is the insurance for if it doesnt help us with such an incident ? Now being charged for everyday since we parked it and until now .! Wouldnt recommend this location to anyone!!

Person working when we got there could not service us, he told us we had to wait till the next person came on and made us wait another half hour: we believe he just wanted to close his shift and get off work. This was after we had our pickup location moved from where I signed up online.

My confirmation page gave me a different address and I showed up to find I was supposed to pick up somewhere else. I get there, and fill out the paperwork and do the work. I just needed a one way for about 40 miles. I had it for a couple hrs and the dispatch locationcharged over $100. I'm still not sure why it was that much.

Lady told us to move truck from where we had parked it originally. Didn’t even get in the truck to check the gas and had the nerve to say we needed to fill it more. We had to take a picture of the gas to show her it was filled to where we had picked it up. She told us to move the truck AGAIN to the other side of the building so we did. She then came out then told us to move the truck AGAIN because we apparently couldn’t park there?! It was an open parking spot! She was rude and unprofessional.

Don’t offer express check in online if the customer still has to arrive and spend 10 minutes on the phone answering questions with someone on the other end of the line whom barely speaks English. I had to re verify all of the information I had already verified online. I finally hung up on her and was like “I gotta go, figure it out” to the guy behind the counter.

I believe the clerk needed better training. Additionally, the only device available to complete the rental was a tablet.
