First U-Haul I reserved was not available. Was given extra miles because I had to pick up from a location an hour away from me. Was then over charged for the miles I was told would be covered by U-Haul. Called U-Haul to get reimbursed and they said I need to call back and could not help me.

The website said this location had a trailer size they didn't have, and when getting a call back, I could not reserve one that the representative said they had on their lot. STACEY CI am not happy with Uhaul. This move was 120 miles from my home and involved scheduling 4 people for assistance. I reserved the truck in advance and received a confirmation number showing a pickup address and time. I visited the pickup location a day early to verify availability of the truck and was told they did not show my reservation and was told that my confirmation meant nothing. After doing some checking, I found out that Uhaul had changed my pickup location without notifying me. Apparently this happens often. This is a very sorry business practice. What does the word CONFIRMATION mean to the people at Uhaul. Apparently nothing. According to the Uhaul website, the truck was shown as available at the location and time that I selected and the reservation was gauranteed. So why was it changed and why was I not notified????

DIANNE BFront driverside tire was low and windshield was filthy. Person at the yard was helpful and did put air in the tire and hosed off the windshield. That said, isn't there somne sort of safety check done prior to a customer picking up a vehicle? On another note, I was called the day before and notified that my vehicle that I was suppose to pick up in Angels camp was not avalible so I had to drive to Pioneer to pick one up. This added two hours to my moving day. The person who called did say they added extra miles to compensate for the further pickup, however at the end of the day I was charged for an additional 4 miles... I guess her caculations were off. After my initial conversation with her I called back realizing I had a reservation guarentee. I had to ask for my $50 credit as my reservation was screwed up. Shouldn't that been offered during our first conversation? Did I really have to ask? Not sure how Uhaul Values it's customers, but I did not feel valued during my experiance.

Tom SThe employees do not wear masks or seem to understand why they are a good idea. My partner liked that there was a button on the truck's dashboard that let you confirm whether the truck was towing something or not. He was also uncomfortable with the masking protocols.
Doug RThe employees here are honest. We accidentally left a wallet with cash, credit cards and a driver's license in the truck. We did not notice for several days. When we called, the employee found it in the truck and held it for us with everything in tack. We were so appreciate!
