no one to unload trailer from truck had to find some place to park trailer on my own, office was in a mechanical repair building i pulled in then had to back it out onto a highway to then go find a PLACE TO UNLOAD ALL ON MY OWN POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Was never given a proper walk through with the agent and the vehicle. The transmission is shot on the uhaul I was given. None of the paper work was ever gone over with me. No extra charges when turning the vehicle in were even mentioned to me when I went to pick it up. I did all the pre-filling of all the paperwork through the website, only to have to do it all over again when I got there. The agent told me my truck was what they called "downstairs". What she ment by this was about half a mile from the office and literally down the dirt hill. As stated earlier I was not giving a proper walk though with the agent and the truck and I spent almost 10 minutes going from truck to truck, putting the key in the door hoping it would open. I finally found the right one after 6 different trucks. I started it up and away I went, well tried to go. The transmission in the uhaul was shot. It wasnt catching the next gear. I would have to release my foot from the gas in Hope's that it would change to a higher gear. I also noticed the right bigger mirror was loose. Any bump in the road or just the breeze of the truck moving the right mirror was flipping around. Talk about a safety violation. I couldn't use the right mirror because it was moving around the entire trip. When I went to return the vehicle at the Rhinehart Uhaul, I was told that there were several other customers ahead of me and that I would have to wait my turn, which I understood because it was a busy Sunday. I was telling the guy that was outside checking customers in and out that when I picked the truck up, that agent did not give me a proper walk though when I picked the truck up. He did a walk around with me and I showed him the mirror and told him about the transmission. He then told me he is going to let the manager talk to me. I explained everything to the manager and was told that there us a $50 something that will be a hold bill until he talked with the store manager. I was never told about extra fees when I got the truck and I only found out when I turned it in. I returned the vehicle with no damage and the gas above where it was supposed to be, to make sure I didn't have any extra charges. Had I know there were additional fees, I would have gone with another moving truck company. Needless to say I am not to happy about the addition fees I was charged and not told about from the original agent. I was not happy that the transmission didnt function properly or the right side mirror flopping about. I certainly was not happy with having to walk "downstairs"by myself and then try to figure out which truck was mine. Overall this was my first experience with Uhaul and right now very potentially my last. Not impressed at all with the place I picked it up at and I am certainly not happy about the extra charges I got, that no one explained to me. Sure fire way to lose business with with holding information like that.
