Michelle W.The service at this location was excellent. However the truck needs to be properly cleaned. Not simply removing debris; trucks need to be occasionally cleaned with soap and water to eliminate smells like body odor. I have noticed this in previous UHaul rentals as well.

Late I canceled the agreement. I rented in person at new location. Smokers Corner found the gentleman extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Ben M.Ended up driving the rented trailer at night with no tail/brake/signal lights because the wiring harness prongs broke off inside the receiver! The harness was obviously well used and should have been replaced via a regular replacement schedule before this *major safety issue* could happen to a customer! It out my family at risk. Uhaul didn't have human available to talk to during this time and no one followed up despite live chat history and automated roadside assistance request. Never again.

Jennifer D.Please (I emphasis the word please), fix your policy for the fuel requirements for your rental vans. I'm required to refil the truck I rented to a fuel gage level between 5/8 and 3/4 of a tank. How is this possible when your retailer can even tell me how many litres a 1/8 of a gas tank holds?? I have to estimate this at the gas pump and upon return I'm told I'm a few litres off based on a photo and then charged a stupid amount of money because I guessed incorrectly . Your retailers need to provide trucks at a full tank of gas and then upon return I can fill it to the "full tank". I will be seeking other retail services that do not have shady fuel policy's in the future.

I really didn't like the fact the transmission was in the tow/haul mode by default, and I was not informed of this unwanted characteristic in advance.

This location is ALWAYS my favorite! I used this location last 10 months ago and experienced the same family feel hospitality and friendly service. I ALWAYS recommend this location to all my friends and relatives in the Oshawa and Whitby area! Thanks for keeping this location open, the location is perfect!
