Our experience was abhorrent, to say the least. We reserved our 20' truck, trailer, furniture pads, and two-wheel dolly two months prior to our move date. We spoke to someone at this location to verify that the reservation was in their system and that the selections we made would be available at the location on the date we specified. We were then notified in an email that the we were to pick the truck up at a different location, a gas station nearby. We were concerned that this would cause an issue with the trailer hook-up and contacted the store again to ensure that we could pick up at this location, which they confirmed. Less than 24 hours before our scheduled pick-up time, the store contacted us to confirm our reservation for the following day. They told us they had a 20' truck available, but not the trailer we needed to tow our vehicle. We explained that it was confirmed by the store when we made our reservation two months prior, but they said none could be made available. We asked what our options were, as we now had no way of moving our vehicle over 1500 miles. The store was unable to provide a resolution and offered a $50 credit. We explained that we would have to find someone, with no notice, who could drive the vehicle to our new home and pay for them to fly back; a flight that costs considerably more than $50. We were told someone would contact us in 24-48 hours with a resolution (spoiler: it has been 11 days since this conversation and no one has contacted us to discuss the issues). The morning of our pick-up, the store was initially unable to find our reservation and, once they did, told us that they did not have a two-wheel dolly available, regardless of our reservation. Upon leaving the store, we saw that there was at least one dolly “for sale” on the sales floor. We then had to make a trip to Home Depot to purchase one for our moveâ€"another charge we were not anticipating. After already beginning to load the truck, we were contacted by the store again to notify us that a trailer was available over 40 minutes away. We explained that we were expecting to be on the road by that evening, had already made arrangements for someone to drive the vehicle and purchased a non-refundable plane ticket for them to get home, AND no one had contacted us to discuss a resolution. We were told again that someone would reach out within 24-48 hours. In addition to the previously stated expenses, we had to pay for gas for the vehicle that was intended to be towed, as well as hotel accommodations and food for the additional driver. Three days after this saga began, we received an email from Jennifer Holman (Traffic Control Manager) stating that a $50 refund had been issued, even though we STILL had not been contacted and there had been no acknowledgement of the issues that occurred. At the time of our pick-up, we were told by the store associate that our contract would state the gas tank was at 3/4 full. When we returned the truck, we were charged $20 because we were misinformed and the contract actually stated the tank level was 13/16 full. Quite frankly, a $50 refund is offensive. We chose to make a large move with U-Haul over less expensive companies because we trusted the brand and it ended up being one of the worst mistakes we could make.

Wipe down the seats. Coffee was spilled from previous driver and left. I assume the whole truck was not cleaned. Otherwise great service and very friendly

Overall the facility and the UHaul met my expectations. What made this experience awful was the customer service we received. The woman was not only rude, but honestly she was mean for no reason. I realize she probably has to deal with a lot of crappy people, but myself and my family were not that and did not deserve to be treated like we were.

The location is difficult to find and my only interaction with the employees was “drop your key in the Dropbox and we'll email you when we get to it.” No equipment check, no opportunity to ask any questions or provide any information about the rental.

The truck was supposed to be a 20' but I was given a 26' truck. I was given no explanation other than "that's what we have in the system." Other than that they told me to call customer service.

They always say tank is full of fuel...but it was 3/4 ths full....this has happened twice....they say I should check it b4 I leave or take a photo.....I'm in a rush I'm moving ...I shouldn't have to photo work that should of been checked...cost me 40 bucks in in additional fuel....thats the last time I don't photo u hauls work.

The first person I worked with was really nice and very helpful. Only bad thing was that he charged me for insurance even though I said that I didn't want it online. I didn't realize until pick up, so I lost $14. The lady at drop off was rude. She acted like I was inconveniencing her. I had questions and she said that Uhaul wasn't her main job, it was storage, and that she didn't have time to help me. I would not recommend renting from her just because of her and how rude she was. Also, the location is convenient but the parking is horrible.

Although I used the drop box when returning this particular rental, I have had issues with facility staff at this location in the recent past.

The drop off location was a chain storage rental location. The facility was fine, but the attendant was rude. The office door was locked because the attendant didn't want contact with the public due to the COVID outbreak. I was scolded for not using the drop box, but I was unaware that there was a drop box.

From the moment we walked in the door it was like we were inconveniencing her. She said she was not expecting a truck and she would have to do a lot of work to check us in. The location we first rented the truck from told us we could drop the truck back off at any location. I mentioned this to her and she told me I was wrong. So in front of her I called the initial location and again asked them where I should have dropped off the empty truck they again said anywhere. She very reluctantly said she would take it in. Super poor customer service!

Attendant claimed the driver caused damage to truck on the premises and said she had video. Agreed to pay if she could produce the video and she said OK. When I arrived she said corporate said she couldn't show it to me. Got a call from someone claiming to be an area rep and he said the person on site claimed my son in law was under the influence of something. There was some question about the damage to the truck and the person on sitenbecame very defensive and rude. I am getting tired of the runaround, I want to do the right thing but the situation is becoming very frustrating. My card has already been charged but I still have not heard a response to any of my questions. I have reached the point that I am considering going on the offensive instead of the defensive.

I wont be using Uhaul for another event. (We have several a year). The reservation was made weeks in advance and the vehicle we needed (or any other box truck that we could have made work) was not on site. The gentleman helped us track a truck down that we then had to go and pick up after leaving the office without a truck. The reservation was made for 9am because we had loading deadlines and we did not get a truck until 2 hours after that which put our entire staff and group of volunteers behind. We will just use a more reliable establishment for our future events.

The location was not the issue. The reservation part was the issue. My reservation was canceled by some customer service rep even after I specifically told that rep not to cancel my reservation. Moving is stressful enough without a uhual rep completely ruining the experience by causing the amount of stress of thinking I was going to be forced to miss my move. Thankfully some rep in Tulsa was able to help me find another truck. Trust me I am one very dissatisfied customer and I will be rating uhual 1star and leaving a comment so everyone knows just how bad uhual is. The poor guy at the pick up location wasn't even able to get me in n out due to uhual website issues. I was at the location for an hour. He was very pleasant n helpful then again he himself isn't one of the uhual Nazi army
