I made my reservation for a Renton pickup two weeks before I needed to move. Two nights before the move, I was called and told there were no trucks at that Renton location that fit my need. They apologized and I ended up having to have someone else pick up the truck at this Tacoma location, drive it up to Renton, load everything, then drive it back down. I was told I would be reimbursed for the extra mileage. The truck had a crack in the windshield and broken glass in the back, my brother and dad both cut themselves on the broken glass. I was then charged for the full amount, no reimbursement given for the mileage. I've called customer support and it's still outstanding, they have no record of the promised reimbursed mileage. Long story short, if you want a reservation to actually mean something is reserved ahead of time for you, don't use this location. If you don't want to bleed on your items from broken glass in the back of the truck, don't use this location. And if you want them to honor their word on reducing costs, don't use this location.

I was charged for equipment I didn't get or was not available onsite. I also didn't want or need the safe trip coverage as my insurance covered me. The best part was I needed to put more gas in the vehicle than what I got in the first place. The store reps couldnt have been nice though.

Have someone there on location that works for uhaul !! The young lady said she did not work for uhaul was just dispensing a truck. She could not answer questions! I was unable to get the contract I wanted because of that! Then spent THREE HOURS on the phone trying to get someone to answer. Was told I had a n agreement and it could not be changed even after I carefully explained that I had just picked up the truck and was seeking to finalize the agreement. I was transferred FIVE TIMES each time waiting through delays and explaining the situation over and over. And this.... I was assured by a lady in the last call that I had ample extra time because I was taking it back to original location. YOU CHARGED ME ANYWAY! I have used U-Haul many times. You have lost this guy. Never again! Finally, reimburse the $119 that you took without my signature or agreement. On 4:20 p.m. the first day of rental I had a assurance there was no time limit in my case returning to place of origin. She said all calls are recorded, so go there and confirm then reimburse the $119.

Accommodate people who don't have smartphones; allow photocopies or something other than home PC or smartphone photos of driver's licenses. Cab of van was clean but cannot speak to engine or other maintenance. Haven't visited or been a customer of enough U-Haul franchises to speak to "averages" either.

They charged me for mileage after I was allotted by uhual 101 miles we return the truck with 41 miles I have screenshots showing the mileage change and authorized by uhual cs. They also said we didn't add enough fuel which we did and charged for that

I had the worst experience. I reserved a 26ft truck and the day before pick up I was called and told there are literally no trucks in the area. My husband spoke with someone and found us a 20ft truck 65 miles away and then a trailer the opposite direction. Considering we were moving out of state I had to accept this. We were told we would be given the trailer for free and extra miles would be added, this of course never happened. When I picked up the truck I was promised by the associate a manager would call me to discuss the situation, again I never received a call. We ended up having to leave some of our items behind due to there not being enough room. Today I was called at 4pm because my truck was late being dropped off although I was told my drop off time was 5:30. The customer service agent was able to extend my drop off time to 5:30 without any charges. I told him we were promised additional mileage due to us having to drive so far to pick up truck. He was able to add the mileage however was not able to reimburse us for the trailer. He told me when I dropped off the location would be able to. When I dropped off the trailer and truck the associate told me he was not able to reverse any charges. I had him call Jesse in the traffic dept. we called and Jessie told me he would look into it. This has been a truly awful experience. At the last minute I was told there are no trucks I then had to drive for a hour and half to pick up a smaller truck. I had to use gas in my as well as pay for gas in the uhaul to drive those 65+ miles. I wasn't even able to take all my belongings because there was not enough room and I was promised to be reimbursed, was not and have been given the run around. I will never use uhaul again and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of these issues and the horrible customer service

Reservation was for 9oclock. Got there, saw a sign that said The location doesnt even open till 930. Had to wait 45 mins. The person who works there was late and didnt even open the store till 945.

Once we were able to get our rental truck it was great. The location is going through an issue with hiring more employees so they weren't able to open at their regular hours. The employee there was great and super helpful. Overall the experience was good our problem was dealing with issues over the phone with Uhaul. They weren't able to help us at another location with finding a smaller truck and getting a code to get the key. It was super frustrating.

Make sure new employees are completely comfortable with the computer system before being left alone on busy weekends waited a while,while agent was trying to get a hold of other employee to get step by step instructions on how to assist me.
