Have more help, friendlier counter rep. and at least one person bringing the vehicle to you and explaining the link procedure. First time renting with this link procedure.
Jay CassidyTrailer was well worn, but caused no problems. The pickup facility is Spartan, but what you should expect in Hemet.
Timothy DuplerThe truck was parked in a pile of mud. Someone had spilled a drink or coffee in the cup holders and seat and was sticky. The location of pick up looked like a dump in a bad area of town.
Carmen MundoWas not able to pickup at designated time due to the location not being open on time. This caused us to be late for a pickup appointment.
Leslie MichaelsComically, absurdly bad service. U-Haul is only an ignored stepchild here. We were 10 minutes early for our 9am reservation to pickup a truck and an appliance dolly. The counter help, arriving at 9:30 thanked us for our patience while chatting on her cell. Verifying our name, she handed us the cell to talk to 'Mandy' who sent a contract requesting we inspect the vehicle and respond with defects within 1/2 hour or all would be assumed ok. It took 45minutes more to get to see the truck. The counter lady had moved on to help a budding farmer discussing the merits of different chicken feeds and then reviewing and discussing the various chicks in the incubator. That was the third customer in line. No appliance dolly. Sorry. (Made refridgerator moving later that day quite a bit harder, but we struggled happily knowing the chickens were being fed well and our patience was appreciated!) Our desire to spend a long day of moving, shortened to 9-5 to accommodate this location's hours was further shortened to 10:30 to 5. LUCKILY we finished with the van early at 4:30, because returning at that time, she was closing up! Seriously, comically bad service. The next day, going back to complete the move we went to the U-Haul on State St, where U-Haul is job number one. Just a mile or so away but much better experience.

And instead of taking calls and forcing customers to listen to problems going on with employees, and then taking phone orders and negotiating prices with someone on phone while 2 customers have to wait til you are completely done before helping us. I had things to do but had to wit an additional 10-15 minutes for the employee to finish on phone. Worst service I have EVER encountered

Lorna AbernathyMy reservation was placed a week ahead of time but at a different location. The trailer they showed me had a bald tire. When I balked at taking that trailer they refused to change its tire or give me another trailer and sent me away. At the second location they wouldn't rent me a trailer claiming computer issues. I tried to place the new order myself using the U-haul app but on the last step the app claimed an unknown error. A second try at the app also failed the last step. There was another customer attempting to rent a trailer from this location. He also tried the app and it failed for him as well. He gave up with understandable language. I called the first location and asked if they could assist. A conversation ensued where it was suggested they call for assistance with their computer. They refused. Finally, the first location did the computer entry for me and gave the second location a trailer number. Now I had a trailer, finally. Except… That trailer had broken tail lights discovered by me because the attendant did not take the time to check. I worked on the lights with some success so I drove off with my truck spitting error messages every time I used my turn signal. When I opened the trailer doors it was apparent the its last job was hauling hay. Dirty, broken, trailer.

JOSEPH GORDONI have tried with no success to contact U-haul via chat. I paid $351,86 @ 180 miles for mileage,was told the $46 would be put back on my card in 3 to 5 days. Disappointed with no response at all from U-haul.I will take legal action if no one responds to my request.Check your invoice you have all the information.

Amanda SkipperCargo bay was open when rented to me in the middle of a dust storm. Windows also. Entire interior was caked in dirt, all of my belongings became filthy. Transmission was garbage, random downshifts resulting in high rpms and jerky braking. Right rearview mirror would not adjust due to sand and dust in the bearings. I am extremely unsatisfied. I would like a refund.

Margarita DahabrehLot of confusion on the drop-off. I was getting texts changing the drop-off location multiple times. Then my card card had for different charges regarding my amount I owed. Took many calls for me to get the actual final bill and 3 days to get my refund on the additional charges.
