Not only was the 24/7 check in process a nightmare (and resulted in my getting my truck an hour late), my two dollies that I had paid to rent were not in the truck. Since this location was not open yet, there was no one to speak to. When I returned my truck, the guy gave me a â€œnot my problemâ€ attitude and told me to just call U-Haul customer service... will never ever rent from this location or U-Haul again.Ariel R.
Clarify instructions on key pickup as the keys are in the back of the truck not in the thing on the wall as shown in the picture. Also our furniture pads were not included so maybe doing that would be nice.Elizabeth L.

Have the system work. I have used Uhaul twice this month and the entire system was down both times. Was charged way more than I anticipated this trip. Customer service was good but the staff should probably wear masks while helping customers indoors.KAITLYN ALYSSA H.

Equipment reserved during my rental wasn't provided and was charged for two rental periods for using them, specifically the two dollies and the furniture mover. When I attempted to contact uhaul, the numbers listed did not connect, and online chat was unresponsive. Poor communication, and sub par service.Eric L.
Back and inside truck was dirty. Reserved appliance dolly not in truck only Reg dolly. At least a dozen blankets were thrown in the attic area of truck. Required us to fold to use space. App would not allow pics to be taken off damage to truck without the x sticker. Only good part was the chat help worked alot better than calling the 800 number.NORMAN J.

Not only would I not recommend this to a friend, I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone. This rental was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had in my life. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I was billed an extra 300 $for extra mileage that I did not use. I called immediately after I received my receipt and John (the head guy at the 4th ave U-Haul) said he would handle it. Eventually when nothing was done, I tracked down John and he said I need to file a claim. I did that and it was denied by Mitchell Eden citing "Usually, if the vehicle was checked in wrong it would be noticed right after your rental." I had already done that, I then asked Mitchell if he ever called John, he never got back to me despite three emails to him. I will never be using Uhaul for any sort of service ever again. I also will be telling many other people to never use Uhaul again.Kyle S.

Not a good spot to rent a U-Haul. They didn't unlock the back of the truck or give me the key and I had to go back and get it unlockedTaylor P.
The check in process is absolutely horrible. The app did not have my order in my account, but it had it when I checked using my PC the day before. The van was great, the price was reasonable, but the check in and check out process took forever. I was thankful someone happened to be there during the checkout time and he was so nice or else we wouldn't have been able to pick up the van.Chris H.
The 10' box truck I had reserved had grind marks on the lock mechanism, The front headlight was out, and the passenger side window was mission one of the mirrors. All understandable, I guess the night before they had a break in.Garrett B.

Fix the fuel leak in the truck. Have the roadside assistance team actually help instead of directing us to the location where we picked up the truck (which is unstaffed). Put the key return box in a visible location instead of attaching it to the bumper of a truck that is behind a dumpster. The entire experience was awful and I will not be renting from U-Haul again.Andrew W.

Address is incorrect in website and confirmation email (address was given as 1732 4th Ave not 1732 4th Ave S, which sends you to downtown not Sodo). No instructions on where to drop keys and there's no sign pointing to the dropbox, which is attached to a random truck and doesn't look official.Alexander F.

I dropped off the truck at night. The location is in an industrial area in downtown and surrounded by homeless camps. The issue is not the homeless camps but the fact that their is NO lighting in the lot. There is no signage on where to drop off the key and it looks like a perfect area to get robbed. I had to wander around the lot for about 20 minutes trying to find the key drop box. Only to find that it was attached to a truck. There was no signage and no lighting, I called U Haul to try and get ahold of someone to try and help me locate the drop box but waited on hold for about 15 minutes while I wandered around the lot until I found the box attached to the bumper of a truck of all places. I hope someone reaches out to me so I can forward pictures of how terrible this drop off location is. I am honestly surprised UHaul has this low of a standard for their locations. I felt very unsafe while returning the truck. My spokane experience was great. The Seattle drop off leaves much to be desired.ALEXANDER F.
