The night drop off to return the truck qrl code to use the uhaul app did not work. I think it's unfair to get a service charge because the qrl code would not scan. I called uhaul and they couldn't help and told me to call where I dropped the truck off next business day.I called and left a voice mail but didn't hear back about getting charged.JAY E.

I reserved the uhaul 5 days in advance and was to pick it up at on noon the day of the reservation. A family emergency that morning caused me to be running behind by a few hrs. I sent an email explaining this to the company, using my uhaul account. At 1:45 I was on my way to pick the truck up, the owner called me three times in just a few mins. He wanted to know if i was on my way, I said yes and told him I had just pulled in. He said well I'm in a hurry I want to close up early. Now mind you when I made the reservation at this location I couldn't pick it up before noon because they didn't open until noon and now he is rushing me because he wants to close because he wants to close after not being open not even two hrs. However that morning realizing I would be late and not knowing how late I went online and changed my pickup method to mobile pickup. The owner didn't follow this he did not have the keys in the uhaul and I had to go inside and go through the whole process and give him my license and credit card info (even though I had already done all of this online) he was extremely rude and he kept adding things to my contract and saying I needed all of it, the extra insurance and tools. This combined with his rudeness and my emergency that morning and on moving day, you can imagine I was not very pleased. I will not be returning toAngie G.

When we returned the truck we had to across the parking lot and see Brian, we went in and told him we were returning it on Tuesday, and he stated he would check it in, in a bit. He did not check it in for 3 days. When we went back on Friday at 2pm he said he just checked it in. Well at that point it was a few days late.Linda S.

Tire light on , employee soda it was on for the other person he said yes. I asked if he looked at it, he said no, then I told him he was going to look at it prior to me driving off the lite. Also rented a pull behind trailer. The lights did not work. Informed same employee mentioned earlier and was told, â€œyeah the last guy that brought it in said it wasn't working for him too.â€ Cancelled trailer Guy complained he had to leave and it was after closed, had to ask giy to do walk aroundJaime W.
My truck was filthy when I picked it up and stank of cigarette smoke. When I said it needed to be cleaned before someone else rented it while checking out using the app (I never actually spoke to a real person for the whole process) I was charged a 25$ cleaning fee. I was charged for moving blankets I did not receive. I would not rent from u-haul again at this point.Carmen S.

The online check in process could be repaired. They kept insisting I give another person as a contact. I didn't immediately have anyone whose name and phone number I could give. I don't give out people's personal information without their prior consent. As a result, the UHaul national people made me late in meeting the moving help hired through the UHaul website.scot M.

It was extremely difficult to update the reservation to add time. I was on hold a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes from the main uhaul support number. Online was no help as it directed to call.Curtis David D.

I had called the day before and never had a return call. My truck was broke down and I needed a rental to continue my trip. I had someone drive me to this location and had to wander around to find someone to help me. The person acted like it was their first transaction. They were not friendly and acted put out to help me. However, I was able to rent a truck and continue my trip so overall it was a positive experience.Joseph M.
When I arrived to drop trailer off, I went inside and a male subject who was sitting at a desk behind a window said in snide voice, "Can I help you?" I advised that I was dropping off a trailer. He said, "Just back it into an empty space" while still not getting up to assist me. I backed the trailer into an empty space and and went back inside the building. Still seated, he asked, "Is there a problem?" I said, "You're not going to come out and unhook it", and also asked if there was no customer service here. He finally got out of his chair angrily and stated, "I don't need your attitude." I advised that I don't have an attitude and that every time I have rented a trailer, they have hooked it up and unhooked it and inspected it. I advised him that I have a bad back and he said that I should have said that in the first place. I advised him that I shouldn't have to. He unhooked the trailer and I then left. I don't know if he inspected it or not. Will never use this location again. Zero customer service and rude.kelly S.

U-haul needs to look at there system programs and factor in when doing miles that there needs to be consideration that most people are not picking up trucks and such in the same place that they are using it. Where I had to pick up was fifteen miles from where I actually was moving from. This is because there is only one Uhaul place in the area that I live in, and this is the case in many areas especially in West Virginia. I am not saying that I won't use you again, your company is the most reasonable and easy to work with but I feel that you need to take certain things when it come to miles in to consideration. I'd recommend the location, but I was beyond stunned at the price for one way; it was much too expensive. I was a bit shocked at getting a cleaning bill. The move was with all clean things, plus I only needed a 10' truck, thru said 20 was all he said was available. I won't use this again for a one-way move.linda W.

The uhaul dealer claimed 4 days later after i returned the equipment that I damaged it. He never called me etc. I am a retired Deputy Sheriff and I am contacting an Attorney about a possible lawsuit against uhaul for fraud.edward B.
