It took over an hour for me to get the Uhaul truck out of the lot because there was over a foot of snow in the parking lot. The clerk inside the location told me the lot was supposed to get plowed the night before but no one showed up. Luckily he helped me get the truck out of the snow. Terrible experience.

What a nightmare! Person couldn’t find contract in computer. Easy pick up took over 45 minutes. Could not print out any paper work so basically we were Drive without any verification of renting the van. Had to call U-Haul to get paper work to turn the truck in. Do not use this location!

I dropped the keys off inside. It took 2 -3 live chats, 2 phone calls, and 3 days to get my truck checked in with a SUBSTANTIAL amount of frustration. If you are going to check in using the mobile option, you will be fine.

I opted out online not to get insurance but he charged me without asking. Should always ask customer 1st. The charges were reversed so it then became a positive outcome.

I had reserved a 20’ truck with a dolly and 6 dozen furniture pads to be picked up at 7:30am. The day before pickup, I received an email confirming these details. I arrived at 7:30 and found that this location didn’t open until 9am. I returned at 8:55 and the owner showed up at 9:35. He processed my payment and when I asked about the dolly and furniture pads, he said he didn’t have them and it was too late to take them off the bill. He suggested I go to another location to obtain some. Because I was already late for my movers, I left and then went to another location later to confirm they were never given. This is not a place that should be conducting any business on behalf of UHaul.

Van was not clean when we got it. I made no mess as i only moved 1item and they charged me 27 dollars to clean the mess that was already in the van when I picked it up. Also the van was on empty. I paid 10 dollars for blankets that I never received. Nothing was credited back to me.

Make sure all clerks are trained. The guy that checked me out gas never done it before and I had to help him go through the web form to check me out.

We took half an hour trying to get the van out of snow, shoveling and pushing it. We also had to improvise to scrape off snow from the windscreen yet their is no scraper in the car. Ensure the vans are accessible as this eats into the clients time. The agent also took almost 15mins to give key because something in the system wasn’t right so our almost one hour was eaten up. Otherwise everything else was ok.

I dropped of the truck at 4pm and the staff did not get checked in until 9am three days later. I received calls from uhaul asking why I had not returned the truck and called the drop off location and they said they would take care of it but never did. Finally I called uhaul customer service and they had to send a representative over to the store to get it checked in.

No dolly like I requested, tank was half full. I brought it back full. The store owner was very nice, and didn't want to burden him with half a tank.

I say yes to recommending but with hesitation. The guys at the office were nice but in the end where it counts I was charged twice and then once looking closer at my bill I realized I was charged for insurance (which I had refused in my reservation.) Had to call .com and ‘file a complaint’ regarding insurance ...and...still waiting on the double charge reimbursement. ugh. Shouldn’t be that hard folks.

Its a scam. I have been charged twice for the same rental. The fraud is self evident in the receipt. I will be contacting uhaul management.
