I had reserved pick up for the trailer at this dealer as it was open on Sunday. Dealer said "I was lucky to get the trailer because he was not open on Sunday. I/ve told Uhaul that many times." He reassured me I could return the trailer early for a refund of advanced payment. he kindly gave me his cell number to call if he was not open. I called that number to return on Tuesday after 2 days, he said "I/m not open. DOn't leave the trailer outside the locked gate." I found another location to return the trailer and received the refund of payment. I'd recommend staying away from this dealer as hours are unreliable. The dealer himself was ok to deal with in spite of the unreliable hours of business..hale S.

The location was a thrift shop/towing company building in which you walk into an open shop where vehicles are being worked on in front of you along with clothing racks everywhere and no lighting whatsoever was on. There was trash everywhere and it was ran down severely! Then once getting the Paperwork done and taking my money, the worker Then said the truck had a warning light on the dash that was on and that it was associated with the braking system. Then he tried to reassure me that it was â€œok & not to worry about it that he uses the trucks and trailers to move things for his business all the time because they don't have tracking devices on themâ€!!!! Then told me if I had any issues to call the 800 number not him that he would not help me! I told him I would like to rent the other truck he had that was smaller, but he said to take this truck and call the 800 number when it broke down. Once getting into The truck was NOT OK! It Was not safe to drive and was making all sorts of noises and would not stop when you pressed the brakes! I ended up leaving it parked at Lowe's hardware over night because I did not feel safe driving it back. There was trash in the rear cargo area of the truck, & cigarette packs, a mtn dew bottle & napkins stuffed in between the seats. After returning the truck, with close to 3/4 tank of gas that when I picked it up the paperwork said it had 8/14ths but it was under a 1/2 tank. Then,... I get back to return the rolling nasty unsafe moving truck to the dump of a location and there is no one there to check the truck back in!!! There was one kid in one room eating, one mechanic in another room and he said just to leave the keys with him and he'd get it to the man that worked there!!! Now I get my updated bill and I AM CHARGED A CLEANING FEEEE??????? WHAT!Gregory L.

Drop off should be available at ANY UHaul contractor. This place was almost 30-40 minutes away from my storage unit, who I might add, did NOT allow for the free month of storage as FALSELY ADVERTISED upon making my reservation online. When speaking to the U-Haul representative I inquired about any possible catch to this because there was none mentioned in the fine print. She mentioned it would be only limited to AVAILABILITY, which is totally understandable. The first call I made was to Metts storage in New Bern and they told me the THIRD month was free. U-Haul does NOT make notice of this, and I made the storage facility aware as well. Of course I called and spoke to another representative who repeated to me what I knew of the free month being restricted to availability. She then offered to search for other storage facilities and in doing so, the first one she mentioned was the SAME ONE I'd already called and I told her so. She then tells me it was my own choice to refuse their offer and I tell her, nowhere in U-Haul's advertisement does it say, â€œfree storage *dependent upon storage facility policy*â€.. The offer is extremely misleading and for the representative to tell me it was my own choice to refuse the storage facility's offer was awfully ballsy of her considering she was about to walk me right back into the same problem anyway. Moving is already expensive and I was kind of counting on that free month because I wasn't even needing a unit that long and I thought that was the most convenient and appealing part in making the reservation anyway. I was about to cancel after the inconvenience of having to drive out of the way to get the truck as it was, which if I'm not mistaken, I thought you all owed me 50 $for THAT inconvenience, but I kept it because that free storage would've come in handy. I will make sure NOT to refer anyone I knowSharese P.
The man that did the contract and hooked up auto transport must HV had a tough day, not not sociable not friendly. I was surprised he charged me 20 $to hook up auto transport to my van. I am paraplegic and could not hook up auto transport myself.Michael S.
