Benjamin RThe couple that run this location are very friendly and helpful and quick. The location is very central to Belen, but is only really accessible from one direction. Not a huge deal, but does mean that if you are coming in from the East, you have to make either a u-turn or come in from the side streets.

Michael DThe lady helping us was awful. She refused to check in my returned uhaul rental mentioned that she was having issues and would just call uhaul in the morning she put the truck away and locked it. When I called customer service and they were helping me return the uhaul on the app I was told that she was "just trying to charge me for an extra day." I asked her for the keys and access to the gate to take pictures of the truck as the app was asking me for these and she became upset and mentioned that she "was already closed." On my original reservation I requested a dolly when I checked out the truck using the self-service option I noticed that the dolly was never in the truck. The lady at south emporium was accusing me that this was a lie even though I called customer service to report the missing dolly before the truck needed to be returned. She mention that I would be charged for the dolly and refused to tell me the price even when a uhaul customer service representative requested this from her she refused to provide the amount. She was rude and not willing to help.

Mike MI would like for the company to make sure that over the road vehicles be check a little closer than the locals. My last experience was a disaster ride. I have called U haul and was offered a 20 % discount on the bill. I appreciate the refund, if the issues wasn't there I would of been better off. This will not keep me from renting another U Haul. Overall the company is great

Melvin SIt's hard enough during these times that a lot of people are losing their homes and have to use U-Haul which is extremely expensive and when we rented they never explain to us that we were going to be charged per mile and then have to fill the gas up back to where it was Which is absolutely crazy to me. If you're filling the gas back up to where you got it then you're pretty much paying for the miles that you used on the truck what a rip off what a way to capitalize off people some thing that wasn't supposed to be expensive landed up, costing us an arm and a leg and now we won't be able to have breakfast lunch and dinner for a month because of the charges .

Tonie MYou have nothing to change at this location. Corina and Roberto were the MOST helpful and positive people I have had the opportunity to share my time with. The past few years have been extremely debilitating, chock-full of stresses and a chaotic period clearly affecting many of us. The staff at Southwest emporium were inviting, pleasant and knowledgeable. Roberto's insight into my decisions were logical, forward-thinking and amiable. Corina's positive attitude and welcoming persona put me at ease. These two are/were the kindest and most authentic people I met in New Mexico. They put me at ease in my time of need and allowed me to rest easy in my travels.
