They charged me over they supposed to
JOCELIN NOELThe person attending the counter was very unprofessional. She was taking care of a personal phone call for her CC and also had another person at the counter on the phone translating for her. She had 2 other customers ahead of me and still had us waiting about 20 minutes before even acknowledging either of us. The only reason I went inside was because my app wasnt working to check in. Because the app was giving me issues she cancelled my previous reservation and had to manually rent the unit. When she did that it was WAY more than what my reservation price was in the app. I was unaware until AFTER i left the store and was already charged. The Van was dirty, due to the errors in my app I was unable to upload the pics of the van but I do have them if needed. Maintenance had not been done on the vehicle either, the check engine light was on AND a light about the tire monitoring system was on. It got the job done but it was just an overall negative and unprofessional experience. I would NOT go back to that store for a rental!

When I told them about they said they have so many people using it for moves that they weren't surprised, basically. She said that she'd tell someone. I have to wonder how often they clean their vehicles.

Dorinda RoyPick up location was almost an hour away from desired pick up location. This location was extremely tight to be able to hook up trailer to our truck. We could not back our truck up straight to hitch up because of the tightness of the lot. Our truck had to be at an angle since the pick up location / trailer was in a small, tight parking lot. The owner did not help us hook up- I had to ask her to please check out the hook up - she was not happy at that request. To get out from the hook-up, we had to carefully pull between and around other trailers, vehicles, dumpsters and cars and curbs -VERY POOR LOCATION. To get here, we drove past MANY other U-Haul rental locations that would have been MUCH CLOSER and more conducive to hitching up. Upon arrival at the location, it took almost an hour for the owner of this location to get to us and complete the paperwork. This location has many different services but there was only one person working so things were backed up and when she finally got to us, she had difficulties finalizing our rental and barely spoke to us and when she did she was not friendly. This entire process form driving to get there - to getting paperwork done - hooked up and driving back took over 3 hours. I would not want to deal with this location again!
Lorraine A WagnerMy original reservation online could not be recognized at the store. I had to start over with my reservation inside the store. The owner was very rude when picking up and dropping off the trailer. Never again. I'll buy my own trailer for future hauls.
Sean DonahueI have always used Uhaul for every move and I'm sure you can see it has been a LOT over the past years. Based on what I had to go through with this last move, I may be looking for a different moving truck company next time. I went to pick up the truck and was told that the key was lost and they were waiting to get the key in the mail. I was told that it "could" come in that day, but it may not. The woman at Uhaul called around and found a U-Haul place in Port St Lucie that had a one way truck but it had to be the larger truck or I was out of luck. So, I had to pay more for the larger truck. Then the woman at the Fort Pierce Uhaul said that I would be getting a discount for the imposition. When I arrived at the Port St Lucie U-Haul, that woman told me I was NOT getting a discount of any kind. So now I have to pay more for mileage because Port St Lucie is farther away from my place, then I also had to pay more in gas for the larger truck. I did not get back to my house to start loading the truck until 2,5 hours later due to waiting at the Fort Pierce U-Haul and then going to the one in Port St Lucie. As I am sure you are aware, time is precious when you are moving and taking 2,5 hours out of a day put us really far behind. This whole process was a nightmare to say the very least. I'm sure they knew before that morning that a key was needed because it has already been ordered but no one even called me and said anything. Instead, they waited until I got to the sight to tell me and then try to figure out something. I am hoping this will be addressed. If you would like to call me and discuss, (772) 521-5558.

Dormarie ColonTruck had roof damage and leaked terribly! Damage could only be seen on the inside of truck. We found it when we opened up the back of truck and the inside was completely wet from a rain storm.

And the rates are way too expensive I accidentally replace too much gas up on returning the truck and that was not deducted from my total as you have to take a picture of the before and after because of all the bureaucracies that was not told to me when I called and reserved the truck as a first time user I was super late for my appointment and journey.

She told me when I went to pick it up that whoever had the truck never brought it back. I had to go to two other places and then finally at the third I got a truck. Not even close to what I need without the proper tools so I was definitely disappointing.

I showed her my phone like it told me to so they can see I paid and checked in she was rude made me give her license and credit card again cause she said she don't want to pay for the truck herself (made no sense) then she told me I had to return before closing when I informed her that I rented the uhaul for o longer time she told me "thats not my problem you need to take it up with uhaul " I also rented a dolly when I got to my destination there was no dolly in the truck like she said there was. OH AND NOW TO TOP IT OFF MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED TWICE so now I'm dealing with that

She needs a lesson in how to speak with customers. Definately not an asset for Uhaul

JOSEFINA ESPINOSAI was over charged for the rental. When I called I was told $19,95 for the day. When I arrived I repeated the price to the woman of $19,95 and she said nothing about it being $29.95. I wasn't presented with a contract only signed on a screen with nothing on it. I was hurried out being told the contract was sent to my phone. I only used the truck for 25 miles and the mileage was right and I put two gallons of gas in it before returning it. I did not find out until the next day when I went by that I was charged $29,95 for the rental. I was scammers by the lady. I am going to contest this with my credit card company. I told her but she didn't care and said I could rent somewhere else if I didn't like it. Worse experience ever with u-haul dealer.
Wendy MachenPicking up the track was easy and simple. However after we return the truck we got charged for 2 days. So I called the lady that we dealt with the day before, and all the Sun she did not speak English and had no idea what I was talking about. Had to sit on hold for a long time just to get somebody over the phone from you haul to take care of the charges. The weighty that I spoke with over the phone with you haul, was a supervisor and she was amazing. We got the extra charges handled, however the store that we dropped and picked it up from was horrible.

When I got there on Monday she said she had to charge me for another day because I didn't return the truck Sunday. She did not tell me that. I will never go there again.
