Steph was wonderful to work with! Her location offered flexible pick up and return hours both early in the morning and late at night - not simply bank hours like other locations. This was such a huge plus since I work 9-5. She is super kind and helped answer all my rental questions. I would highly recommend! Thank you Steph!

ANN ANot change the amount charged. I was told that we could return the trailer a couple of hours late and we would not be charged for an extra day, she said between 2pm and 3pm was good and to call her when we were in our way. We called her at 2pm and arrived at 2:20pm. When I received my receipt via email I noticed the charge was almost $50 higher than my original contract. I was charged for 3 days instead of 2 days. This is not a good way of doing business and is not fair to the customer.
AMY BI made my reservation online. I was charged $50 before I even picked up the truck. It stated on the website until I picked it up. Then I was charged again when I picked up the truck $55.72. And then another charge was attempted but the other charges put me into overdraft made me thirty dollars and some change. I called Steph the morning after returning the truck to inquire about the multiple charges. She said she was going to call office to find out and return a call to me that day but never did. I called her the next day and she said that after final charge foe the rental is done the balance would be returned. I am completely dissatisfied with this contract. I am on disability and I was moving from a stressful situation.

david sOnline it showed the location open at 8am on Saturday s I schedule to pick up at 8:30 only to find a sign on the door that said they didn't open until 9. They had two of the size trailers I requested, but one was missing a grease cap and the hub looked rusty so I didn't want to take a chance on pulling the trailer 1000 miles. The other option had a bad tire and the facility said they didn't have the tools to change the tire so they had me take the trailer with the missing grease cap to another location in Waco to switch it out. Drove there, they didn't have one available, so directed us to a third location to swap. We ended up finally leaving Waco 2 1/2 hours after we had expected. The people in all locations were pleasant, it was just very frustrating trying to find a capable trailer.
Richard AI made sure I put 1/4 tank of gas back in the vehicle because it was given to me empty, but the person checking it in said it wasn’t enough and charged me an extra ridiculous fee.

Teresa SThe customer should be able to select the time needed for the piece of equipment. Not be price gouged by forcing a pre determined number of days for the rental. The other option is to refund the customer for early drop off of the equipment. If I didn't have to work late on the original return date I would have just kept the equipment out of spite until my return deadline to keep you from double dipping on rental.
James EThe hours published suggested it was open when we returned the unit. However, we saw signs of no one. There were not directions or signs to guide, so we just guessed and did the best we could. I am hopeful we do not get charged the $20 the contract contemplates for dropping it off "after hours", because it wasnt, but no one was there!
James BNeed better instructions on parking is only allowed behind the facility. Pulled in with a 26' truck & realized could not park truck in front. Had to wait on someone to arrive to help me back into the busy street so I could pull around behind the building.

Was directed to a nearby UHaul location to fix the light problem. I know liability is a concern but better coordination between UHaul dealers would promote sales and customer satisfaction.

Kevin SWhen we arrived at 10am, the establishment was not open. I called and the responder informed me they would be there in ten minutes. When they arrived, they informed me that the truck I reserved was had not been returned. They offered a larger truck for the same price. When we inspected it, there was a padlock on the rear rollup door. The attendant was going to unlock it but never did. Therre wasn't any review of the charges or any paperwork, I was told it would be e-mailed to me. After leaving the site I remembered that the lock was still on the door so I returned to the site to have it removed. The establishment was not open. I called and was informed that they had no way of removing the padlock. I was told to take it to another U-haul establishment, and they would cut the lock off. I was offered a day of free use for my trouble. When I arrived at the other U-haul establishment, I was informed that they had no way of removing the padlock. After several phone calls and threatening to return the truck one of the attendants at the other U-haul establishments retrieved a bolt cutter and I cut the lock off. After returning the truck and checking my e-mail I discovered that I was given a free day of use, but I was charged for Safe Move, which I assume is insurance that I declined when I made the reservation. I was charged for all of the miles driven on the truck even though about a third of those miles were from driving to another U-haul establishment to have the padlock removed. Overall, the whole experience was upsetting and disappointing. I think I was overcharged. This was not the location that I had requested to rent a truck from and due to the fact that the location I wanted to rent the truck from had several trucks the size that I wanted, I don't understand why I was sent to different location. The next time I need to rent a truck I will be looking into other options.
ken aTerrible experience. Owner of franchise was noticeably high and remakes of Marijuana. She wouldn't get out of her car and made me come to her car and it smelled of marijuana. She called me 5 times prior to the pickup time asking when I was going to come because she wanted to go home. Tires were low on air, I had to immediately drive to put air in them. Truck wasn't clean. Truck only had less than 1/8 tank of gas. Owner of franchise was very unprofessional and not friendly. Worst uhaul experience I have ever had
