I opened the back sliding door to the back and there were artificial fingernails spread inside the truck and on the back bumper. There were scratches inside on the bed floor and looks like white paint was spilled on the bed floor. I swept the truck bed inside. In addition, the cab of the truck was dirty. Other than that everything turned out okay. So, inspect the truck cab and the bed in back before driving off with the UHAUL.Noelle G.

Uhaul could improve on almost everything. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have had with a customer based organization. And that is eliminating the debilitating heat as a factor. Since moving is stressful on it's on and I suffer from anxiety, I implemented tools, such as online truck reservations, known locations for pick-up and drop-off, and physical help from friends and family, to make my move as easy as I could make it. I reserved a 15 ft truck online at a walk-able location 10 days before the move date. I picked a date that the truck was available and I based my help on that date. I was called at 11:30am on 6/23 to let me know that my 9:00am pick-up on 6/25 for a 15 ft truck would not be available. I was told that there weren't any 15 ft trucks in Washington and no 10 ft trucks in a convenient locations. I was also told that what I did online was merely a request for a truck and not an accual reservation as the email said. I appreciate that I was given a discount for the failure by Uhaul. However, it did not make up for the 2 hour delay in move start time due to the pick-up location being 30 minutes away, the pick-up location also being a car wash where the cars took priority over my pick-up, and the confusion over the only options for drop-off location being a ferry ride away from the reserved location. I was fortunately able to rectify this by calling a specific location. It also did not make up for the time, tolls, or gas spent making multiple trips due to the smaller truck, or the frustration watching a neighbor load a 15 ft Uhaul truck next to my 10 ft truck after being told there weren't any in Washington. After the experience that I recently had with Uhaul, I would struggle to recommend the organization and I would definitely not recommend the pick-up location.KIRA H.

When someone reserves a truck "do not" tell them the day before that the truck you ordered is not there. You could pick the one you ordered 30 miles away or get a smaller one. Uhaul did make good... the gave me a smaller truck for a couple extra days, no extra charge, for the same price and a different drop off locationRene B.

I was informed 2 days before pickup that a truck was unavailable at my preferred location. I was told I now had to drive half an hour away as there were no closer uhaul locations. Okay fine. I get there for a 9am pickup and there was no employee on site. There were 2 other people there waiting to get equipment as well. Finally someone showed up at 9:15 to open the location. I got to my place to load the truck, opened it to find it was very dirty with grass and straw and dirt, and was filled with dirty, grass-covered moving blankets. 23 of them to be exact. I had to unload them all, load the truck, load them back on, drive to the new place, unload them unload the truck, load them all back on to return the truck. I was covered with dirt, grass and straw. The young staff member was not trained (not his fault as he was clearly new)and had a terrible time getting the system to work. There was another customer who had been there for an hour prior to me arriving. When I got there, I was there for an hour. They were not able to use the reservation and had to start a new one. The information was not put in the system correctly and while in the middle of moving they called and changed my drop off location to place 30 miles from where I wanted it. I had to call the customer service line multiple times to get credit for miles that were promised to me, and to get the drop off location switched BACK to where I selected.Jenny H.

I have rented from Uhaul several times. This was awful. The guaranteed reservation for the tow dolly was a joke. The first email confirmation sent me to a dealer several miles away, only to be told by the clerk that it was gone and I'd have to get it from another dealer who ended up being nearly 30 miles away. When I arrived at the second Uhaul location i found a small muddy lot with no one around. Finely a young man came out of a garden type shed and waved me over. I said I was there to pick up the tow dolly. He said it was reserved by someone else, but since I was there and they weren't I could have it. He then proceeded to attempt to complete the paperwork. He had really no idea how to do it. He didn't even know how to log onto the computer. He had to walk to the gas station to ask a question a couple times and was on the phone getting guidance for the entire time. I waited 40 minutes for him to complete the paperwork. I was the only customer there. He gave me the paper contract finely. I signed a copy and he said keep it. I told him don't you need the signed copy? He said he didn't really care one way or the other and said I could go. It was raining and he didn't help hook up the tow dolly or check the trailer lights or anything. I have a disability and needed help, but had to do it all myself. He offered no instruction about how to use it safely either. When I returned the tow dolly there was no one there again. It was raining and I had to unhook it myself. When I was driving away a different young man asked me my name from the same shed and said I could go. Untrained workers, no service, muddy lot, no help, 60 miles out of the way, nearly 3 hours of time due to this poorly run location. Its too bad the guaranteed reservation didnt work as promised. It seems the equipment goes to whom is standing in the door, not the one it's promised too... You have some work to do to win me back as a customer.Brian N.

Iv'e used Uhaul many times in my life but this locations is far the worst experience to be had . The equipment is often dirty and the younger employees that seem to run the operations have absolutely no idea how to provide any kind of meaningful customer service. A ho-hum sarcastic attitude, confrontational and lazy demeanor and employees that couldn't give two s**** about their effort, presentation or your needs as a customer. Car wash attached is no different. The gas station run by the owners is the only saving grace. This can be a good location but the staff needs immediate training on how to interact with customers.Darren D.
No fault of the location, but I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a Kent, WA pick up. The Friday night before my Saturday pickup they contacted me that I would have to go an hour south to get the truck. What's the point of a reservation system if the truck can't be picked up within a reasonable distance away. Also a Friday night change to make a Saturday morning pick up doesn't allow flexibility on changing times for hired movers, etc. as it was after business hours.Deon F.

The truck had very small pieces of wood and wood dust, which I cleaned the walls and floor, my truck was rented under another name other than my own, I needed a larger truck instead of the truck I was directed to rent, I received harassing call to bring the truck back because of a problem that originated from there office and another employee, I brought the truck back the same day and was told I had the truck for two days and I was supposed to be charged for two days but was given a break, My card was charged the first day on the 19th then again on the 21st. I have never experienced anything like this....evernorman F.
