Just not an up to date location. No nice office area. The guy was nice but I've been to other locations that are better

CLAY CRUSEWhere do I start? 1st Drop off location: abandon buildings..not a person to be found 2nd. I AM A UHAUL AFFILIATE I rent & return uhauls each & EVERY DAY, yet this location charged me $ 20 fuel charge..when I put the gas in I know it was full B/c I gave the truck stop guy $100 bill he gave me $ 40 back & told me FULL! but the location said it was only at 7/8 of a tank & do I gotta say 7/8 tank of gas on a 30 to 50 gallon tank is gonna cost a whole lot more than $20 but you know what..forget the $20 let's move on, 3rd. I CALL the location to contest the charge wasn't mean or rude, & the women starts yelling at me " THAT TRUCK WAS NOT FULL IT WAS ON 7/8 I said No someone made a mistake.she yells it again over & over, after about 45 sec of this I yelled over top of her( B/c she was yelling & not listening)& asked "DO you talk to all of your customers like this?" She stared I am done I am not going to argue with you over this, & handed the phone over to some gentleman I asked him " she always talk to customers like that? He did not answer only asked what the problem was..I explained he retorted it was not full it was then & only then I revealed I was a UHaul affiliate & gave him my store number he was like.."WELL. WELL I haven't got time to argue about this & hung up the phone.Part 4 I immediately looked up & contacted the AFM (AREA FIELD MANAGER)((So you know I know what I am talking about))anyway, explained all of this..even told him about prior customers who wrote reviews about being charged $20 for no reason & his people needed some customer service classes & the line went dead...I figured the call was dropped I was in Michigan he in Kentucky with all of those mountains you'd think right? Well you'd be wrong, I call him back & say "I'm sorry, but our call Must have been dropped, he said "OH NO IT WASN'T DROPPED I HUNG UP ON YOU, I AIN'T LISTENING TO THAT" I say really.. you are the AFM it is your job, he said I ain't hearing that neither, then & only then did I tell HIM, I was an affiliate & that this wasn't over, I wouldn't be treated this way gave him my store number & encouraged him to look me up & see 6 yrs of service with UHaul & only 2 bad reviews not B/c of my Uhaul but B/c of the Storage Facility I manage & evictions I had to serve otherwise 5 stars across the board something I take pride in & my AFM trains his people for & to expect upset customers & FIX the problem, if you can't call him.NEVER ENGAGE THE CUSTOMER. So the Kentucky AFM says to me, the truck wasn't full I said yes it was he then asked do you smoke cigars, I told him No I don't he said well there was cigar ashes all over the cab..I said no not true I don't smoke cigars I said "Oh I see, so it's moving from a fuel fee to a dirty fee, ok..keep that $20 I bought them cheap, but this isn't over, & The AFM says" well I am sure since you are so familiar with Uhaul, I am sure you can find out who my boss is."I SAID you sure bet your ass I can & I will.He hung up on me yet again

Dsrryl WardlowEnsure equipment is clean. It was filthy inside cabin & cargo bed. There was trash littered throughtout the cabin. We had to sweep out the cargo bed prior to use. Additionally the tire pressure sensor was on & kept flashing to be serviced. Lastly, an alternative drop-off location was selected w/o my consent.
KimBerly ClaypoolThere was no help offered to hook up the trailer. My husband had to lift the trailer up by himself and me back up in order to get it on the hitch. They did not check it for safety as it says in multiple places that there is a free safety check. We are lucky we didn't have to go very far and someone who has pulled a trailer before fixed the connection for us. This could have been very bad.

PHILIP DELGADOI picked this location because it said they were open till 5:00 on Saturdays. Got there at 3:30 and they were closed so ended up paying a $20 convenience fee to gave it done for me when they opened up again.

Plus the location took us 45 min to get to from the original location. Typical UHAUL lack of service and run around.

Blake CraigOwner was wonderful and SO accommodating to our needs during a stressful time. Not her fault but we had reserved 2 doz blankets and none on site had to drive to Campbell Rd location. That owner was also awesome. Trailer hadn't been swept out and had straps in it, which we returned with a clean trailer. Wish reservation was as ez as owners at locations, good people.

Charles HayesThe equipment I reserved online was not available when I arrived, but I believe this is a corporate issue caused by UHaul and not the fault of this individual location. The lady (owner?) was EXTREMELY helpful and made it simple to get checked out. After the overall experience I had with this move (including calls to UHaul customer service), I would advise people to stay away from UHaul in general, but if you do have to use them, use this location.

Tyler DennisLet me send some pictures of how gross the truck was when I got it. I did not clean it before I dropped it back off bc I was not going to clean something that should have already been. Tape on the mirror buzzed the whole time on the interstate. Cigarette ashes in the door and muddy cab and trash all in the back. I estimated 300 miles and only drove 212, how will I get a refund?

I go to this location over the nicest one in Bowling Green because I know that she is the person that I will be working with!

Elizabeth BELCHERWhere do I begin? When I arrived at the facility I found a sign saying "you need to make an appointment", so I knocked on the door with no answer. I knocked again and called the number in my email for the location but received no answer. I called again and finally got someone on the phone. I said I was there to drop off a trailer and she said I needed an appointment, which was not mentioned anywhere during the scheduling of the trailer, nor was it mentioned in any of the email correspondence I received regarding the booking. This location is one way in and one way out, so there was no way I was going to be able to get out with the trailer attached at this point. She told me to just "drop off the trailer to the side". Again, no one is there, and no one has explained to me how to unhook a trailer. She starts speaking down to me and just says leave it and she will handle the trailer when she gets back but she doesn't know when that will be. Mind you, this is 4pm in the afternoon. I go over to my trailer and try to unhook it, but this is not a standard trailer, it is a proprietary design by uhaul, which again, no one had explained to me how to unhook. Then another vehicle pulls in to the facility and a middle-aged man gets out of the vehicle and stares me down. I am a 120 pound young female who is alone, trying to unhook a trailer, with no way out of this facility at this point. My heart rate starts to go up and to be honest, I start to get very concerned for my safety. After 20 minutes of struggling I am finally able to get the trailer unhooked, all while watching this individual out of the corner of my eye and fearing for my safety. I called the number for the office again after I left only to be yelled at by the lady who is running this facility saying she would never have unhooked my trailer to begin with, and she is entitled to her own lunch break. I was visibly shaken after this experience and never plan to rent from Uhaul again because of how terrible the return experience was. I could go into so much more detail about how it was. And coming from the GREAT experience I had in picking up the trailer (at a different location), this was so disheartening.

RENEE COLEMANThe picture online shows a Hair Salon area and looks like it's in a strip mall, however when you arrive at the location, it's a rundown building and no hair salon in sight. It had a "sketchy" feel and was less than inviting. The mobile drop of was super easy, no problems there, but I wasn't sure I was at the correct place at first. Thankfully, another customer pulled up to drop off their U-Haul and said he too picked the Hair Salon location and thought he was at the wrong place. In the end, the vehicle was dropped off and the process itself was simple, but the picture of the location on line was nothing like the location in reality and it leaves customers confused.

Scott GwinI'm going to call and ask for my money back on Monday. The dolly I reserved was not available, even though I confirmed my reservation 2 days ahead of time with the location via phone. My bill is showing the U-Haul had almost half a tank when it had a quarter tank. The back of the U-Haul had about a dozen loose screws in it. U-Haul had a check engine light on and the alignment was very far off. I will mostly likely never use U-Haul again unless I am somehow made whole. 270-784-9424 to contact me
Christian SteffThe lady that was there was very nice and helpful. However, she was an older lady that was filling in for her daughter in law and did not know how to hook up the trailer. Additionally, she was not able to physically help us lift the trailer onto the hitch and there was no one around to help us do that and no kick stand/jack to help us with that, and so it was quite an ordeal to get the trailer ready to go. They did send guys out to help us but by the time they got there we had already figured it out on our own.
