Please provide more instructions in your email and to your help line staff for remote pick up. There were many steps that we didn't know about ahead of time and could have better prepared for. The staff on the phone kept timing us out and cancelling our uploaded request. Took 1.5 hours to finally process the pick up. It was extremely frustrating and although the truck was fine, I will never use your app again.

This place charges a fee for dropping your truck off early, on a Sunday at 2 pm. Wait the extra day that you have booked to save yourself the 20$ fee. I called and the women who answered said let me talk to the manager, then she said he wasn’t in the mood to give me a credit. What service!

I had reserved a van for The Yankee Storage location in Greenfield. Upon arrival for pick up we noticed that the van was not there. Uhaul customer service booked us a new van at the Hadley location. I had to absorb the cost of driving for total of 50 min. to this location.Pay for the milage and gas. I reseived no adjustments in my bill for these extra costs, even though you must have charged the previous renter $50 for failure to notify UHaul /me for the delay. as mentioned on your website. Not reliable service. Will go somewhere else next time.

I rented a uhaul van today from this location and had a very pleasant experience in such awful weather. The registration process was very easy and the assistant was kind enough to assist me with cleaning the ice of the windshield and also backing the van out for me. I would gladly rent from this location again and highly recommend others to do the same.

This is a dirt-lot facility with a single person manning a tiny but very busy office, just off the UMass campus in Amherst MA. I made a reservation several days in advance, to pick up a truck at noon on the day of my rental to move some furniture. Two evenings before the rental date I received a notice that my reservation was for 3:00 PM, not noon, pushing my loading schedule out. Not that big a deal for me, but I wanted to see if an earlier pickup would be possible. It took three calls to get through to this facility the following day: my first call at about 9:00 AM went unanswered, I left a voicemail on my second call at about 11:00 AM, then some hours later I called again -- this time my call was picked up and a very harried-sounding employee said he had meant to call me back but was extremely busy. He said it was possible that I might be able to pick up a truck before 3:00, but he had no way to predict -- honesty is nice! The day of the rental I stopped by this facility to check availability at 1:00 -- there were 4 trucks of the size I had reserved available on the lot, but there was also a substantial line of customers waiting for help. It took about a half hour to get through the line. The person working the desk was positive, friendly and clearly competent, but just as clearly was having to work very hard to get through his workload.

This was my favorite uhaul location. The process was quick and there was a lot of space for parking for pick up and drop off which I almost never see. Staff was friendly and speedy. In addition, the location was on a lower traffic road which was convenient.

The employee I dealt with complained the entire time about “how much crap uhaul makes us do for a $30 sale”, since we were only doing an in-town trailer rental. Absolutely awful customer service experience. Zero chance that my wife and I will return to this location.

The people were very nice but there computer problems (not connectivity but the company site) and it was taking so long to process the rental that I did it myself on my phone while I was at the location. What should have taken about 5 minutes took about 40 minutes. I haven't had the chance but I plan to ask for money back on my rental because of the inconvenience.

The vehicle we rented broke down on our trip, indicating it had not been well-maintained. Roadside assistance took over three hours to come rescue us from the hot highway. While they said they were sending a mobile repair unit, all they sent was a tow truck. We had to delay the move by a day, and incurred additional costs as a result. The western MA U-Haul group has been completely unresponsive to several emails from both myself and U-Haul corporate. I was left with no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Abysmal customer service.

It is theft and a to "borrow" bolt cutters for $20. I left and bought my own pair to cut my broken padlock. So no, I'd rather not do business here or recommend this company to anyone.

After being told there were no vans available, I checked Northampton anyway, where I was told Hadley had one, so the man reserved it for me. That trip wasn't needed to begin with! I drove back to Hadley to get the van Hopefully I won't be in need of another too soon.

A tire blew up in while driving on the highway, 495 North in eastern MA. It then took 2 hours for someone to get to us to replace the tire. It was a very dangerous and stressful situation. There needs to be better maintenance on the tires.
