Take care of the parking when the customer returns the vehicle because of very limited parking.

Ra SLocation was not clean or inviting. There was and still is no personnel available to take back the key for the truck. There is no drop box for the key either and I’m still sitting around waiting to drop off a key I should have been able to drop off after business hours as indicated by u-haul’s instructions

Veronica FMy reservation was for 9:30. Kevin was not there, and no one could get him on the phone. The guy in the shop was trying his best to help me. I called U-Haul, trying to get them to switch my reservation after 45 minutes of being there to self-pick up, which they couldn't do for some reason. At that time, the shop finally reached Kevin, and I guess he checked me in from wherever he was because the rep from Uhaul I was on the phone with saw at that time that I was confirmed. It was a stressful experience overall. The truck was not that clean. There was dust and crumbs on the steering column, and the seats had stains all over them. Plus, the maintenance light was on, informing them that an oil change was due. The added stress to my already stressful situation was uncalled for and not a way to do business. This was a service that was supposed to help me but made me extremely late to where I needed to be and had me panicking trying to figure out a way to just get the van that I planned for to rent. Plus, I knew dropping off the van wasn't going to be smooth sailing either. Trying to find parking is a nightmare.

JULIO AThis is the first time in over 10yrs I have experienced a problem. Originally I rented the truck for a day and end up extending my rental an additional 4 days. I couldn’t make the payment at the location because they didn’t know what the charge would be. When all they had to do was charge me exactly what I paid yesterday. I called each day before 12 to extend the rental with customer service and was told I had notes on the account regarding payment. I lost my wallet during the move. I ask if I can pay when I return the truck at the location with a different card. I returned the truck. The location was closed but according to the website you should be open. No drop box for the key. I threw it through the gate. I was waiting for a call Monday morning for the final price so I can come in and make the payment. I was never called. My card was charged without my authorization. The payment didn’t go through because I lost my wallet after saying I was coming in to make a payment with a new card after I was told the price. Horrible customer service especially the lack of communication!!

Aref SOriginally I had a reservation at the 130th street and Broadway location that I placed on 12/18/23. My reservation was changed with less than an hour notice of when I was supposed to pick up the truck. The people I spoke to over the phone were unhelpful and did not rectify this mistake on their end and inconvenience me to travel over an hour out of my way to pick up the truck.

Mario AI had to wait around to find the person who works there. The truck was not ready when I got there, some of the equipment I requested wasn't at the location. I wasn't given enough information. I had to be rushing to get back because the guy said they closing early, despite the fact I got truck late. I didn't know I could keep the blanket so I went to take them back 2 days later. Such a waste of my time and the time of my friend who took me.

Chelsea TIt's a garage. It's dirty and crowded, just like every other garage. I dropped off the truck, the person who helped me was professional and courteous. I'm just happy this location was open. Otherwise, I would have spent another hour on the phone with U-Haul trying to return it.
