As the location that we dropped the trucks at was not at the address on our contract we went to this lot with several U-Haul trucks parked in the lot that was mainly used for a carwash. No one there to point out drop box,, partially hidden due to item leaning against the building where the drop box was located. Attempted to call the telephone number for the store three times and no answer. I would not use this location again, unless things improve after the street construction changes things. I understand change in location due to street construction, but notices should be made as a different drop location would have been selected..

The "owner" was EXTREMELY rude to us when we went to drop the keys in the box. He kept demanding we give him the keys because he was the owner but because I had no way of knowing that and the truck was my responsibility, I didn't feel comfortable giving the keys to a stranger. It should not have been that much of a problem for us to want to follow instructions for equipment we were ultimately responsible for. There was ZERO reason for him to yell at us. Not to mention the two other creepy men that were just staring at us the entire time we were going through the return process. If you want returning customers, maybe don't aggressively harass strangers for the keys to the trucks you're renting.

The truck had a check engine light on. The truck was dirty. It was not a good part of town. The back right started smoking excessively and we had to get the truck towed. This truck should not have been on the lot and we certainly should have a refund!

The battery seems was on its last days as to be able to start the engine took everytime around 2 - 3 minutes at least until it finally starts; The speed changes felt completely forced, indicating a lack of maintenance in the gearbox.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD. I honestly don't want to use U-haul again after this. First I picked online pickup and when I got to the place it took me over an hour to figure out how to get my keys. I did everything online to check in, and it told me that I could pick it up by the truck. BUT then I had to call because my internet service wasn't working. When I called first they said everything was set and I can go to the truck now to pick up my keys. It was my mistake to trust them in the first place and hang up the phone. After I hung up I couldn't find where to pick up my keys. So I called them again and they said now I need to go inside the place to pick up the keys. The place was not clearly marked as a U-haul place. I went up to them to ask for the keys for the truck and they gave them to me after about 20 mins of waiting. THAN U-haul OVER charged me for the miles that I went. I maybe went 30 miles and they charged me for 50 miles.

I don't recall his name, but the guy that runs this place was amazing. So friendly, so helpful, and we just had each other laughing during check-out and check-in. Literally one of the fastest check outs and then check-ins I've ever had with UHaul.

I felt this so called agent did not represent Uhaul & he represented something I have never seen or experienced in my life ,he sat in a caged room , where I was told by a very kind and afraid lady to come in , and she offered me to sit, I'm old and a woman of color , and disabled and I was directed to go into a area where I was so frightened it was a room that looked like a cage and a big lock at the door, computer screens and I went through a hell zone in order to get a truck, I'm 71 and he was no help at all this guy was full of evil , he sat and he looked like he was spitting fire out of his mouth as he smoked from a clear device , it was a clear thing , and he blue smoke in my presence , this man had a raging spirit on him and whatever he was smoking may have triggered his behavior, he got angry because the dollies were not what I needed, so I took one to just get him to calm himself down, it was terrible when it came to get my D.L picture of the front and back, I had never had to go through this before, I ask for a copy of this transactions, he looked at me with such hate there is no contract & my understanding is that my debit card was to hold my reservation and I could pay cash, he said no cash , he got mad and canceled the order. I cried, I said sir I told you I could use the card , he made me want to get up and leave, but I was so desperate to get a truck , I needed 2, 4 wheelers which every Uhaul has everything , moving supplies plus kindness that wasn't here in this caged hell, he hit a button and everything came back on the screen, I was apologizing repeatedly to him and this lady that put the Appliance dolly in the truck and he should have, he ask how miles I thought less 20 miles there and back, and 2 hours or 3 ! The kind lady was so helpful, she turned on the air-condition to cool off the truck, I walked around the truck to see if there were any visible marks or damages , I'm disabled I'm 71 years old , I cried for a while, my brother called me I said Willie I can climb into this truck my legs and my stiffed joints arthritis knees and sciatica couldn't take it , no body came to offer a hand at all, I went to the passenger side I stretched my disabled body and forced my boned in and it was aweful, I wrote the mileage down before and after, After leaving the place the movers had started to load up , I had no idea that there was no ramp on the truck it slowed us down big time, If I had know I wouldn't have taken the truck the truck was dirty with trash it had foot crumbs it wasn't clean or disinfected after their use plus no ramp, this was my worse day moving and on top of it this evil monster behind the cage ! I ask the guys where is the ramp they said it's not one, one mover needs a hip replacement he was a professional mover , I got calls from some body saying extra charge& we are overwhemed and in pain for lifting heavy wood and stuff back breaking experince, I'm hurting and can imagine the pain these two movers went through to help me , I had to assist them on packing I put these guys through such pain we needed a ramp, it was 5:30, and I'm headed back to the place after filling up , it's 6pm the trucks is locked up and the key in the box! I called in so they wold not charge me for extra for something, no one called me back, and the person Said the truck hadn't been returned , I have 2 witnesses, plus on top of being discriminated against not having a ramp, me not able to climb in the old disabled truck , they charged me fir 4 movers $148.×2, plus they owed me 18 they over charged me the put 54,36 + $33. and change on my debit the guy said I see where they charged you 18 and change, he said call coperate, thus was so painful and so frightening for me and now they are trying to empty my little money on my debit to pay my bills , it's more to this story! This guy on 9433 Parkfield in austin was not like the others this guy needs to be put in a cage and feel the pain and suffering he cause me, I was locked in that he'll hole, I pray he treats hus mother with respect , because he did not respect me! I yhink he needs to be tested for drugs he smoked from a glass pipe and and big puffs in the air , it damaged sure was not for peace , I will never choose this place! This guy looks huge and dangerous, the woman was his slave she was not from America but she smiled, she was embarrassed of him !

The man or owner was extremely rude the truck was dirty and sticky and smelled bad the transmission was messed up couldn’t accelerate the steering was messed up and the truck wouldn’t start

This location worked out fine. The whole process was unfortunate because I reserved a truck much closer and I guess the other location overbooked. So I had to pay for the extra mileage to come here, but luckily this location had the truck I needed. They were nice and helpful.

I reserved a furniture dolly, the guy at the shop confirmed I wanted one, but when I arrived to my place with the truck there was no furniture dolly. It made the move a lot longer and more difficult than it should of been. The guy at the shop was rude too. Also the shop said it opened at 9am, which I arrived a few minutes after and he didn't let me in, I was knocking and no one was answering. I was going to leave, then he finally opens the door. I also call Uhaul to tell them about my experience and they did absolutely nothing. Definitely not a pleasant experience

The guys at the front desk do not provide much information. This was my first time I rented a uhaul vehicle and they didn't mention thinks that I have to check before start driving (i.e odometer, gas). When I received the invoice the miles they were charging me don't seems correct, but I didn't take a picture to claim a reimbursement. It was not a good experience at all.

Employee seemed indifferent if not borderline rude, but he improved as we worked with him to get the truck. The truck had cigarette ashes and burns in the console area, but was overall mostly clean.

I always book in town rentals at the location closer to be because I have to pay for mileage. It always seems like my reservation is accepted and then transferred to a location that is further away costing me more more on mileage. This is getting unacceptable!

The worst customer experience I have ever experienced. I was on the phone with customer service for several hours and many different consultants. And then we got over charged! I have been a loyal U-Hall customer for a long time, but will never use this service again. Not only was this a terrible experience, the staff at this location were extremely rude and unhelpful. They never answer their phone and their vehicles and in horrible condition.

The place was kind of weird. Woman told me she she needed her boss. The boss was kind of rude. There seemed like a 50/50 chance I just handed the keys to a random person and we were being robbed. Very odd place.

I checked in and the person checking us out was rude. The U-Haul reserved was not the one I got. The check engine light was on. I will never use this location ever ever again! The managers attitude was terrible

This was a uhaul rental place and a car inspection location, the only worker there was completely overwhelmed with customers which resulted in him being extremely rude, off putting, and inconsiderate of our time.

Make sure the person reserving the truck is aware it must be picked up within an hour or it will be cancelled. This resulted in an hour hold time on U-Haul system trying to determine what was going on with it.

The attendant was really awful. I picked up the truck and went next door to get fuel. After fueling , I started down the road and turned around and went back because the truck sounded horrible. The attendant drove the truck and said it was ok and it certainly was not. He had 2 more of the same trucks there and I requested another one and was denied.. The truck had exhaust fumes coming into the cabin and the a/c would not blow through the vents. It was a awful experience and the attendant have no customer skills and was very unprofessional. I will not use Uhaul again nor recommend them to anyone. I have used Uhaul on numerous occasions and have never been treated so badly

The area that this location is in has some questionable people around. There is a food truck and car wash right next to this place and that didn't help the uneasy feeling I had. Using the website to rent the truck was an absolute nightmare.

What I think you should do is make sure when your customer calls to extend a rental of a truck you extend it for the right truck & not mark it off as I got a whole other rental from a different location! Dropping my rental back off today was RIDICULOUS!! Now I have to wait till Monday to speak with a manager about a refund for a rental truck from a whole different location I didn't even rent from! I will NOT be going back to this location that I rented from!

I would NEVER work with this absolute horror of an owner. He is rude, argumentative, seems to find joy in tormenting his customers. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, I was appalled and shocked at the level of disrespect I was given at asking for help with a process I was unsure of. I then was sitting silently waiting for the online process and I looked at him which seemed to set him off as he then just kept repeating "You need to learn patience." I deliberately didn't speak to him after the complete lack of help he afforded me at first, so why he decided to start admonishing me out of nowhere, I don't know. He then berated me for asking him to not speak down to me and told me that I was harassing him. He scared me to the point of tears and then laughed and mocked me. I had to beg him to just give me the key so I could leave as I was on my own and had been dropped off so I didn't have a mode of transportation. I spent the next two hours not even able to start my moving process because I was so shaken by his behavior. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.

The owner needs to have a better attitude. If the business closes at 1pm and you are walking out the door before noon when the customer arrives don't continue walking and say you (meaning us)selected self pickup anyway and continue to get into your vehicle. Even though he eventually came out of his car to help us he and had the audacity to tell my husband that he owns the business and I told him yes that is why you can afford to act that way and as a self owned business owner you should be more accommodating which you are not. My husband went inside to finalize the transaction but this is the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

The location's posted hours were 10-5, we showed up at noon and no one was there. Another customer stopped by and said they haven't opened today (she had stopped by right at 10). We also did not receive our refund from the lack of furniture pads.
