The truck shakes going down the road. The girl behind the counter didn't know why she was doing a took about 50 min to get the truck and I did the self check in befor o got there. It was a horrible experience and I wish I didn't have to pay for it. The girl was very rude like she didn't have time to deal with u haul stuff. I felt like I payed some one to be rude to me. And went there 3 times to get the truck was not there at 10 am didn't end up with it till 3:30 pm after some dropped it off. There was dirty clean ex on the floor and McDonald bag. And old face masks.

The place I rented the truck said I didn't have enough fuel in the truck when I brought it back and wouldn't refund me the remaining balance for my truck very unhappy with service and will not ever use again!!!!!!

Stellarton PetroCan has the rudest, most incompetent staff who are resentful for having to deal with UHaul rentals. Charged my card twice for my rental, which now I have to dispute. This location doesn't even have a drop off key box outside so a customer doesn't have to be sneered at by the cashiers. This was the LAST time I will ever rent a UHaul, and I will be disputing the double charges and having my credit card company reverse them as soon as possible. Renting a UHaul from this location is a frustrating, humiliating experience that no one should be forced to endure. You could do the *right thing* and give me a refund before I need to have the credit card company reverse the charges.

Absolutely worst customer service I ever received at uhaul as a customer I have used uhaul yearly and this has been the worst by far. Petro Canada should not be able to run the uhaul unless they are well trained. I will be calling an explaining my situation I had to deal with along with the huge over charge amount I was charged because of their mistake, that I want returned to me. Blankets were muddy an just thrown in the back of the truck, gas milage was way off that when they had indicated on the paper so they charged me a huge amount for their mistake because they didn't put the right milage an gas into the system right, 45 minutes in the morning just to get my truck as they tried to charge me double. I have all my photos to prove all the mess they have caused me on a day that I was busy an moving. I will be contacting customer service for my refund on a huge amount they took from me. Worst experience with uhaul yet.

The back of the truck was loaded with equipment from the last person who rented it. My partner had to move the truck and then unload the equipment for the employees. We were then charged for this equipment that we did not use nor ask for. The inside of the truck was disgusting, it was sticky, coffee spills all over the place, garbage, and a used mask in the floor. The truck was not cleaned by employees before we were given the truck, and my partner had to clean it before he could continue with our move. We have already filed a complaint and included photos of the truck. We are extremely disappointed with our experience at Uhaul this time. Both my partner and I look forward to hearing back from the company with how they will right this.

I've been renting Uhaul trailers for years and it has always been a smooth experience. My two regular dealers are no longer doing Uhaul rentals so I went with the new location out of the Petro Can in Stellarton. It took a full hour to rent the unit once I arrived. Neither of the two folks working had any idea how to do the rental. This was after I already pre-booked over the phone and even called the night before to ensure everything would go smoothly. The original rental was for return the next day at 6:00 pm but that didn't stop the rental company from calling me in the morning looking for the trailer telling me it was late - it was not. Once I dropped the trailer off “on time” my emailed invoice was not correct, my Visa was charged too much. I am expecting a call from Customer Service today.

Rented a trailer for one day. I was charged when I picked it up, and then was charged a second time at the drop off location. They said they couldn't refund the first charge, and that it was my responsibility to go back to the pick up location and get my refund. Poor service on behalf of U-Haul.

The owner of the store where we picked this uhaul up had been using uhaul to store overstock products for his store. Upon pick up we were given the key to a truck full of his stuff. After two hours of hassle they finally sorted it out and got us an empty uhaul. When I contacted uhaul about it they had nothing to say about it other than thanks for letting us know. I feel as if a discount should have been offered for the two hour delay which made us late from day 1.

Truck was not ready they wanted me to go to another location. Gave me a truck that was not cleaned and on empty with the advice of "you might want to fill it up before you leave it pretty empty". It took an hour to get all this sorted out. The bill was given to me with the wrong name and all they could do was tell me to call uhaul about it.

When I rented the uhaul, we drove out of town to pick up our stuff for the move, turned out there was a lock on the uhaul they gave us . Delayed our move for 3 hours because we had to drive back to the store and exchange the uhaul truck because petro can had the uhaul filled with stock for their store. On top of that our uhaul was filthy and covered with hay . Terrible over all experience.

From the initial cost indicated prior when receiving Uhaul to the actual cost after I returned the Uhaul was significantly different…. Extra 163 completely unexpected probably won't rent again

The worst customer service from the manager, when I was asking questions, he could not answer , he started raising his voice at me . I bet he wouldn't have tried that with a man, and he may think twice before he does it to a woman again. You do not disrespect woman in this country and get away with it. Enough said ….. rent from locals in Salts Springs or Abercrombie!!!!

I returned my unit within 7 hours of pick up and did not receive a refund for the extra day that I booked. Also, UHAUL changed the drop off location and it was 30 minutes away from my ideal drop off location.

Well, when renting online and then going to pick up and they can't find keys to the size you ask for. Then asking if they give you a bigger then what you ask for same price but charged you more then what you payed for what you rented in the first place. Then when returning the rental and the clerk calculated and was cheaper as used less KM but never changed the price and charged me the full price is not acceptable. 2 days later and no change was done on my credit card, paid 309 $and was supposed to be 239 $will be going to see this place on why it wasn't changed. Second I seen in your policy if they don't have what I ask fir a 50 $refund would be done and they said I had to contact U-Haul to be refunded. I will never go to this place again for rentals…

I will never use this location again, and have told more than 20 individuals about my poor experience at this location. Petro Can Stellarton should NOT BE ALLOWED to be a UHaul location any longer. 1 employee. 1 employee is trained on UHaul reservations and returns. She is also expected to do all of her typical cashier duties at the same time. It took 45 minutes just to RETURN THE KEY for my rental - there is NO OUTSIDE RETURN BOX AND NO OTHER EMPLOYEE WOULD TAKE THE KEY. I have rented UHauls countless times in the past. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in my entire life. I had to lose my temper before someone would take the key back for the truck which I had already finished with, filled with gas, and parked. None of which was their business to 'double check' (which is why it took so long) - none of these minimum wage children working as cashiers understood that a credit card goes on file so I can walk away and still pay for my rental. Never. I will never rent a UHaul from this location. And I will never rent a UHaul period if you leave them in this location. They also have no where to park your trucks without having to drive them over an 8 inch tall curb. DO BETTER OR JUST STOP. YOUR COMPANY USED TO AT LEAST PRETEND TO CARE ABOUT IT'S CUSTOMERS. NOW, YOU VERY CLEARLY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR REPUTATION AT ALL. PATHETIC.

Well below acceptable standards. Took over an hour to rent a truck AND it was a previously secured reservation. Arrived to pick up truck and manager decided to train an employee how to do it. We only had so much time to use the truck for our rental and the booking took 70 minutes. Never should anyone have to wait that long. You must not train staff when it affects the customers waiting in front of you. customer service is key and at this location it was brutal. If there was somewhere else to rent ASAP we would have been long gone, and we will certainly think twice about using u haul again. Extremely frustrating and disappointing

Staff did not know how to do the paperwork for the rentals. They also had trouble doing the paperwork for the man infront of me. I was there in time for my reservation which was at 8 am. I got In The uhaul truck at 9:11. When I returned the vehicle That afternoon it was also a long process. In my opinion it was due to the staff not knowing what/how to do the process.
