Frank X.I have had the worst experience ever of my life, customers beware of the location in Wantagh NY. The guy there was not helpful at all. I was suppose to pick up a truck at 3pm in Wantagh NY, and he told me to call Uhaul back and change location because there was no way he was removing the snow to pull the small truck out. Unreal!!!!!!! Now, Joe from Bellmore location did the right thing. He took care of us and i recommend him to anyone. I will never, ever use Wantagh location. Go to Joe, he'll take care of you.

We got illegally evicted and are in a really bad situation and this made us have to rent an extra day of our storage container… we don't have a lot of money right now and that really …messes us up to say it kindly. He was also an asshole and his customer service was…sub par to say it nicely. The truck was riding out its gears almost to red line even without the tow haul button on. The gas went down 5 miles at idle for 10 mins. I think there was a gas leak because it smelled real bad if gas. Customer service on the uhaul end was amazing. U guys are always awesome but that place effin sucked. I had a really bad experience and is it possible to talk to someone about that because it's not okay.

However it was VERY frustrating having uhaul call me twice in the same day to change locations for pick up and then the nonsense i had to deal with from their wantagh location finally cleared it up and the truck was dead would not even start and had to go pick up from yet a different location. So while this location in Bellmore id def go back to and recomment Uhaul itself needs to improve

Thomas S.The u-haul app (for Android) self-checkout function doesn't work, it won't take pictures of the driver's licence. Luckily my pickup time was 8am, when the operator was already there. He was very helpful and used some other way to take the pictures of my license. However, there were other customers there who were relying on the app for an earlier pickup time, and they weren't happy at all. Self-return worked after a few restarts. Don't rely on the self checkout app, pick times when the location operator is there, just to be sure you get your vehicle.

I know that can happen because people don't return the trucks on time, but when you are moving, it's important to know you'll have a truck there ready for you. Fortunately, I did.

Karen B.I ordered my rental van to include a hand truck and blankets and got NEITHER...We had to buy a hand truck at Home Depot and use our own bed comforters as moving blankets and got them dirty...recommendation: guarantee these items will be available OR state in obvious BOLD PRINT when selecting options that these items my not be available.

Lisa B.Website states a drivers license can be checked at the rental store. The person at the desk stated I had to use my phone to go through the website and input my drivers license. This is a major inconvenience. Either have the website state you must input your drivers license on the website or have the store personnel trained to handle inputting drivers information.
