the truck was filthy, it took 45 minutes to complete and finalize the process just to get the key, then you have to try the key on every truck that size to find the one you are renting. Horrible experience, then got charged extra on the bill. I will never #%$^#@$$# again.

All was done on line. The app was a little slow but overall a good experience. I left something in the truck and returned later that day. The woman in the store was kind and gave me the key back to retrieve it. So I'm thankful for that.

Came in for a last minute rental and although i was unable to get the size truck i needed. The representative did everything she could to make sure i left the facility with a rental. They even made changes to my rental agreement after i had left. Changed my rental from returning to same location to a one way rental. Very accommodating

Not only was I given a truck covered in green mold, beat up and dirty on the inside; the owner didn't have a gclue what he was doing. Thankfully a Uhaul rep was there or I may never have gotten my truck. In addition, I am being charged for 6 additional days of use when i dropped the truck back off on the day I rented it. Horrible experience and I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again.

Check in was the worst I have ever had in the history of me using your company the guy that checked me in had problem using the computer And was extremely slow. I had to tell him I was going to check in online because he couldn't do it. He didn't come out with me, there was 2 dollies in the truck already and he gave me two more. Check in was a disaster. Returning the thrice was much easier the lady that took my truck was very nice and asked me the right questions and made it seamless.

Called & lady didn't want to take my order on phone (later, I saw she was the only one working in the convenience/uhaul store), she lied and said no available UHauls. I knew there was because I had seen one available online. I went back online and reserved. Upon getting to location, she required THREE personal telephone numbers. Will she be selling these to hackers? Along with having to give my drivers license and having that photographed (that may be a UHaul policy but did not need that at other locations.) Feel my privacy was invaded, and I was discriminated against.

The place smelt. Thr Indian ladyvwas pretty rude and a lot of the food on the shelves was out of date and moldy . The uhaul broke down on me in the middle of the highway transmission locked up. Worst experience I've ever had.

The store was dirty and the freezer for ice cream was being used for the lady's lunch. The truck smelled like cigarettes, and the customer service was we terrible. I will never go back here.

I filled out all of the information online so it would be "quick easy pick up", but that was definitely not the case, as I had do it all over again at the office, which was a seven eleven. As customers came in after me, I was constantly told to wait as she would take care of them first, as they came in to buy cigarettes and whatever. It took me 40 minutes to finally get out of there, and put me behind my schedule... horrible!

When I dropped the truck off she made me carry pads and dolly inside her store. She then went on to tell me that their was an issue, but couldn't understand her because she spoke very minimal English. Not a good experience at all with her! I picked up from the clearwater location at 8:20 and and I dropped the truck off at 54 location at 2:00 pm the same day Saturday. She took the keys and said have a good day! I am currently on the phone with a manager at uhaul to dispute this and make sure that she doesn't rip off other uhaul customers! I would never recommend this location to anyone! I am highly upset with this and for future moving needs I will probably never go with uhaul again!

Entire self-service experience was not good, inside truck cab was not wiped down, smudges around dash and console, not sterilized like it should be during Covid. You are not a world class service organization, uyour online buy flow needs great improvement and your agents when calling for assistance need to take ownership. The verify alternate contact person needed heavy coaching to stay with me, a young lady I spoke to was very willing to try to help (Model for all), you should listen to my recording with all of your team. The location was great. However the UHAUL service was terrible. System was down for over 2 hours and this location lost customers because of this issue.

I have contacted them and U-Haul service for help. Besides me waiting and waiting and getting dolly myself and no one showing me which vehicle. I prepaid 30 miles. Used 36 total and was charged additional $52.65 that was for gas. Really. I was robbed. Gas was then at 1.95 a gallon. I would like a total refund of 52.65. I paid highly for U-Haul. $40 for dolly and $56 for safe move. Please respond. Thank tou

The UHaul authorized dealer was inexperienced, rude and very slow. I checked in online to avoid delays however it didn't seem to matter as they didn't have record of the online checkin. It took an hour to check out which delayed the time I had the truck. I won't use this location ever again.

Location was in an old run down four odor convenient store. Woman was from India and I could barely understand her English. Despite filling out forms on website, it took her 25 MINUTES to completed process. She did NOT inspect the truck with me. I will never in a million years recommend this location.

Do not use convineance store they are to slow and push uhaul customers to the side and make us wait so they can take care there walking customers. The lady took care six customers and she asked me for 3 tel number but by the time she wanted to help me my cell phone had died and I was very frustrated because I made my reservation on line the day before and I had put all my data on line. I thought that I just suppose to pick up a clean and sanitize vehicle. I will never go there again nor will recommend that place to any one. I had use your main facilities on the pass and never experience a third class citizen treatment. I was wearing a mask to protect my self from corona virus and she suppose to tell customer to stay 6 feet apart. No but she was taking care customers over my shoulders. I told her I will call the health department on her. She was a very nice old lady not rude at all and that's the only reason I stayed with the place. But never again and next time we will use Penske rental truck or any other company. The last time I moved my older daughter I had similar experience in your other convinance store located at st 41north in Lutz FL. These convineance stores are not equip to handle your business and the don't clean the vehicles either. Your reputation is going down a long with those third world class performance. I am a retired Army 1SG and never experience how low your customer service has been. I have 6 adults children and they all move every years but if you continue with this country convineance stores you will force me to use others companies. I had always in the pass use only your main locations even though I may have to pay more for mileage. I feel that I should be able to reserve trucks on line and avoid all this nightmare. You already had my credit card information and all my personal information. She send me a text for me to click on that and up loads my driver lic. Because she made me wait approximate 39 minutes my phone died and she had to use her phone to complete that transaction and I was not please about that either. Is very important that for what this country is going through right now with this virus to sanitize and clean all your vehicle and if this facilities don't have the equipment nor the people to accomplish this simple task they should not be representing you at this time. They are a complete mirror of what you are and what you represent. And right now you as a company had failed to hold your standard.

We had a terrible experience, our original location (which was 6336 Land o lakes s blvd Florida) was closer to our home.The place was closed, and we were going to have to do a remote pick up which we knew about and was prepared to do..However when we got there we were not able to access the key through the remote, We had to call U haul and because it was a Sunday and not open had to wait till 9 to get help...after talking to the person at u haul we found that a key had never been put in the box!!! This was after we had been called on Sat to confirm the pickup!!! So now we were at the u haul and were told we didn't have a truck!! The. lady did some searching for us and found us a truck further from our home. She was very helpful, got us a bigger truck at the same rate as the original rate....We then had to drive about 20 minutes to the place and 20 minutes back...We finally got the truck and were able to proceed with our move 2 hours later than planned! We were not happy and quite distressed over this...we had movers waiting at our home for us and I had to pay them for waiting...This was a terrible experience...

I nearly broke my back from the lack of equipment provided that I needed, the lady was rude and spoke no English, I'm filing a lawsuit against uhaul if I get prodded for this $40 they want. My back is permanently damaged from their negligence

Requiring 3 phone numbers does nothing to provide surety. You do nothing to validate those numbers, and badgering a custoner to lrovide excessive validation in addition to photo ID and CC information) is insulting, unnessesary, and a waste of time.

They took 30 min to put my info in to get me a truck when it usually takes 5 min. She went incredibly slow. She failed to explain how to check truck in when I returned it, causing me to be charged an additional fee. I physically handed her the keys back and she didn't check the truck in or tell me what to do so I was charged. This location is the worst I've ever been to. Do not let them rent out trucks. They also spoke so little English she couldn't understand anything I was saying.

Picked up truck using the uhaul app and couldn't check the truck in... The lady wasn't helpful at all just gave me number to call. When I finally pick the truck up and got it home I opened it up to start moving and there was a couch and loveseat and a small kiddy pool on the back. Worst of all they were infested with bugs and the smell was horrendous. I had to call the number back, drive 20 minutes to another location to trade the truck out. I will not be using uhaul for a move again.

Have a person that knows the checkout process. I had already checked in online and paid and it still took over 45 minutes with customers continually coming into the convenience store. Wonderful lady but clearly was not easy for her.

attendant wouldn't get off the phone to take the key from me, she just took the key asked if I had cleaned the truck and told me to to have a good day. called me 2 hours later and asked why I hadn't turned the truck in because she coudlnt find the key, once she found the key it was past turn in time so I was charged an additional day. I was none to pleased and disputed with my credit card company, still pending results.

I dropped the vehicle at their location on 05/19/19 at 10:32 pm (I had until Monday morning 05-20-19 at 9:00 am to drop the truck). This location charged me for an extra day on my credit card because they did not check it in until 11:20 am on Monday 05/20/19. I have a picture of the mileage when I dropped it off and it has a time stamp of 10:32 pm 05/19/19. Also, they charged me for gas and I KNOW that it was at a half of tank because i stopped at the Shell Gas Station right by their drop location. I tried calling them several times and they are not answering their phones. I have been a long time customer with Uhaul and I am very disappointed.

Location is a convenience store so there are customers going in and out. There were multiple times when the woman working had to stop checking me in so she could deal with the store customers buying items. Also, the woman working did not know what she was doing. She was very slow and did not seem to know how to work the system. The price she asked me to pay was $50 higher than what I was quoted by U-Haul. This was the 3rd location I was rerouted to due to lack of trucks so U-Haul gave me discount and extra miles. The person checking me in said she didn't see that in the system, there was nothing she could do about it, and I'll have to pay the full amount, including the full amount of the truck which was even higher than the amount I reserved it for. I asked her to call her manager whom was just as unhelpful and said they couldn't change anything. So I called the U-Haul customer service and got an amazing person (Angie). Angie spoke with the woman at the location to walk her through the system so I would pay the discounted rate. They hung up, the woman pulled up my reservation again and said it's still showing the higher amount so I needed to pay that. I said no and called customer service back. Luckily I got Angie again and she just processed my payment for the discounted amount over the phone. In total I was at this location for 1 hour before I got the keys to the truck. Horrible customer service. However, U-Haul customer service (Angie in particular) was very helpful and worked to help fix the problem.

Rate below average only because this place is a small convenience store and every time a customer came in we had to wait while the sole cashier attendant tended to them. It was a slow process; took at least 3/4 of an hour to get us on our way. For some reason our drop off location was different than what was agreed upon on phone with U-haul so had to call during move and clarify change to what had previously been talked about.

The woman appeared to not know what she was doing. Kept all her records in a notebook. Not a computer. Had to keep calling someone. Even though I was already there she repeatedly took care of other customers first. Had to check the truck twice. It took me an hour to return the truck. While I was there 2 other men came in to return a trailer. She didn't even acknowledge them and they left.
