The drop off went smoothly, however the didn't have a public restroom. Also I would never recommend uhaul to anyone ofter the experience with this truck. The vehicle wasn't properly maintained and a road hazard.

The blankets and dollies were missing. I emailed them the day prior to picking up the truck for verification and got no response. The main U-Haul office on Chinden came through for me.

Provide the Customer some type of paperwork for the Truck. Since I got no paperwork if I were to be pulled over I wouldn't be able to provide any details. Verify that the email provided by the customer gets email from UHaul. We didn't. My wife's email was misspelled and they didn't have my email

Truck had not been cleaned in a while. Person checking me in said he could not do military discount and said that U-Haul did not offer discount. I told him that was not true and on my move across country I got the discount. He again said he was unable and that I could call U-Haul about it. He needs some training on U-Haul policies. Not the kind of person that should be in a customer care position with his attitude

The transmission leaked the whole drive. I checked it constantly and added transmission fluid several times.

The windshield was so dirty and covered in bugs we stopped at the first gas station to wash it but couldn't get it cleaned. They were baked on!! The windshield wipers were broken and we found that out when we needed to use them!

A step stool would be nice for us short legged people. It was impossible for me to get up in the cab. I was given a bucket to step up on. It worked!

The man who assisted us was very helpful and nice at Stor it. Note: the Uhaul was not at the correct location (the reservation address) and we had to go miles out of our way to pick it up at: Stor it. I had a reservation months in advance. I called to have the uhaul picked up at another location in Boise. I called a couple weeks in advance and they said no problem the uhaul would be here. When we went to pick up the uhaul it was not there. She said to come back at 4:00 pm and she would have it there only to find out, that someone else called and left a message (while the BSU graduation was going on), that I would need to let her know right away if I wanted the bigger uhaul or I could go to Stor it. When we got to Stor it, there were two men laying down cement for a walk way up to the stairs - he said to go in so I had to grab onto the railing and hop over the sidewalk to get to the stairs and I almost fell down the stairs when I left, after knocking on the door and finding out no one was there. The nice man later assisted me and asked the same lady I talked with on the phone for concessions because of the issues and she declined. He did give me a break on the insurance rate.

when booking my rental I requested a dozen blankets which were neither in the truck or offered. Also, drove about 4 miles to my home to load and noticed that one of the outside rear tires had a 3+ in gash and was flat. Had to wait 2 hours for repair service, who was quick once there, but delayed my loading and departure.

The overdrive button would not release thus poorer gas milage. Hate the fill the gas to the same amount method, will avoid U-Haul truck rental in the future.
