Make sure the back trailer is clean before you give it your customer had to clean up a puddle of water before I got to load my property but you guys charger me $25 for a cleaning fee for a about 5 little rubber bands..I had to clean before I got the truck that’s Ridiculous!!!
VICTORIA KELLYWas charged $20 late fee for a 24 hour $19 rental. This is usery. Especially when the location I rented from was not open 24 hours after pick up. I picked up my trailer at 2:00 on a Friday and location was closed at 12:00PM on Saturday. I figured I had the trailer for 24 hours despite their closing time.
John KaiserWas a horrible location, right off a busy road. I called before the listed close time and nobody answered. They charged me for leaving U-Haul equipment in the trailer.

Cory HarperI dropped off my rental at the assigned location. After several attempts to contact the vendor (later identified as Robert) I informed him that I had dropped off my rental one day early however no one was there during the stated business hours. Robert seemed distant and uninterested and very hands-off. He asked if I used the phone app to return my rental and I told him I had not. He went on to say that if I had dropped off my rental at the location then all would be fine. The next day (Tuesday 8/23) I noticed a charge of $20 for an "after hours service fee" even though I return my rental one day early during business hours on 8/22. Upon calling to reconcile, Robert claimed he didn't charge the fee. He went on to became defensive, argumentative and eventually hung up abruptly. Very unprofessional. I'm left with the impression that this individual is not really interested in being an actively engaged Uhaul vendor. By far the worst experience with I've had with Uhaul. Great company, just ran into a bad vendor.

Kenton MeadowsThis is a horrible U-haul rental place. The experience was pretty traumatizing. Rented a towing trailer and then guy who works there was sarcastic and condensing, We had never rented a tow trailer and had NO idea how to hook it up. He hooked up a few things and said we had to do the rest. I asked him to help us and he said that is why it is called U-HAUL. YOU do it. Terrible unbelievable customer service. You have to crawl under the trailer to hook the chains to your car and the whole lot is huge concrete rocks. Do your self a favor and DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS LOCATION.

RICHARD WIGGERSI only used 44 miles on a 20ft truck. I put 4,5 gallons in it before I returned it and was charged for an additional 3 gallons. According to the internet these trucks get 10mpg. What am I missing here. Also the guy working there is a idiot and not helpful. I've used uhaul many times of the years, but if y'all are going to allow excessive billing practices, I will be renting somewhere else from now on.

Bradley NorrisI have rented from several U-haul locations in Ridgeland and Madison, and most of the personnel are not customer friendly. They seam to care whether you rent from them or not. They are not particularly friendly. I'm sorry to tell you this but I don't think customer focus is their strongest trait.
WAYNE PRATTThis may not have been known by the location, so I do not fault them for this...just bad luck. It appears that the tire may have been capped at one time, and shortly after departing the location while driving down the road the cap flew off of the tire...over half of the tire was missing exposing the threads (but the tire was still inflated). Because I was only doing local haul I did not get the insurance...which I should have purchased anyway. I purchased a new tire and had it put on, and continued with my move. I have never had an issue with UHaul prior to this time and this one incident does not change my overall opinion of the company.

MEGAN NASHThe representative was okay. Not excellent but not terrible. Took him about 20 min to find my reservation because his computer kept shutting off (I was in a hurry), then proceeded to remind me three times that I could not leave with the trailer without working lights. Which were just fine, even bought a new light adapter from him. It was just the way he kept saying it... wasn't really customer service oriented. But overall, trailer and dolly worked great and were in good condition. Merci
Todd ShieldsThe male at the location has terrible customer service skills. I was charged for 2 days but only kept the vehicle for 5 hours. There was an error with checking the vehicle back in and I had a time stamped call log to show where I attempted to call twice. He refused to assist or answer any questions. It was raining when i retrieved the rental on Saturday and it was parked in the mud. I was charged a 25$ fee because the mud got in the truck (yet this location parked the truck in the mud). The service at the location is horrible and I refuse to ever use them again.

MARY REEDI was charged a cleaning fee plus the tax that associates with this! Also I received a dirty 20 foot Uhaul. There was, what appeared to be dog hair all over the storage part of the truck but yet I get charged a cleaning fee. The place is well kept but in my opinion their needs to better customer service as to dealing with the public. Not treating someone like they are just a number. If I was Uhaul I would not let them rent out my equipment, y'all are getting a bad reputation because of them. Good luck to y'all and hopefully other people won't experience this disservice!
RALPH LINDSEYWhen I pulled in the driveway I received a call telling me where to park the trailer inside the fence. I was also told that if I had not folded the blankets I would be charged $2/blanket. After spending a few hundred dollars to rent a trailer and blankets it seems pretty ridiculous that I need to fold the blankets or pay an additional $12. Also, no one came out to help me unhook the trailer which was surprising to me.

JACQUELINE NEWELLWhen i went to pick up trailer I was early...20 minutes before pick up time. The place was locked up. No sign indicating the employee was gone to lunch. There was a phone number to call. I called the number four times and text once. No response. I understand that everybody needs a lunch hour, but when you show up to a place of business that has working hours from 10-3 and gives you no indication that they are still in business, it makes you question if they are still around. Especially in a time of Covid where businesses are shutting down. The location needs to post its lunch hours or have employees take lunch at work.

Tammy BoundsThe person representing U Haul needs to inform the renter what a day rental is I picked up the truck around 930 am and noticed on the email sent to my phone it was due back at 345 pm the same day. I did not get to finish moving in the U Haul because I could not take the chance on gettin charged another day.

Benjamin BetikWhen I went to this location to pick up my truck I was referred to go online and complete the pick up . I did and had to wait over 1hr to actually get my truck due to the representative not assisting me when I told him I didn't receive a lockbox code to get the keys. The rep acted as if he couldn't complete my pick up so I had to to call the 1800 number only for them to say that he in fact could assist me . After going back and forth for over an hour and half I finally was able to get my truck
Aelicia ThomasI scheduled an online check in to pickup at 8 a.m. When I got to the location to pickup, the truck was locked behind the gate and I had to leave and come back at 9 a.m. when they opened. It set us behind having to pay someone to help us move. Frustrating but it was all worked out.
