The facility is clean and seems COVID compliance. Their equipment is well maintained and all lights , New tires and clean when I hooked up to the trailer. The employee helped with the hook-up and all went smoothly. The return went well also the employee did the check return and helped unhook the trailer. Nothing. Your customer service sucks. Even though I reserved a 15' truck way in advance, U-Haul sticks me with a giant 26' truck for a 500 mile trip while it sucked 6mpg which cost me a fortune. Then I was told I had to drop the truck off at a U-Haul location several miles from where it was unloaded, because it was TOO BIG to drop off at the U-haul just blocks away. This incurred further unnecessary expenses for GAS and my UBER ride home. When I called to ask if they could credit me for the extra gas, or the travel, I was offered extra miles. What a joke. I should have listened when my friends told me U-Haul SUCKS! Why reserve a truck if you don't even provide it?NICOLE G.

When I picked up the Uhaul, the tire light was on. They filled it with air. By the time I went 20 miles it was on again. I had to call roadside assistance. He found that the valve stem was broken, and stated that they would of heard it when they filled it with air. This put me 2 hrs behind on my move, my mover canceled and I had to do this by myself, plus was out the mover cost, not at all happy with this.keri C.

This was an atrocious experience from beginning to end. My husband and I had to have the U-boxes packed sight unseen due to medical circumstances keeping us across the country. I was told by the realtor there were 5 U-boxes. When I logged into the U-haul account it said there were 3 boxes. When I called to follow-up on the discrepancy they said there were actually 4 boxes. On multiple phone calls with different people I was informed over and over there were only 4 boxes and I was mistaken that there were 5. They surmised that 5 boxes were requested and only 4 were filled. Fast forward to the boxes being delivered and all of our clothing, shoes, items needed for our jobs were not in the 4 boxes. Oh, lo and behold, there was a 5th box that nobody registered. It took a full month to receive the 5th box. I was charged for the box to be transported (and was subsequently reimbursed), but no action has been taken by U-haul to apologize, to compensate us for the number of days the box was late (50 $per day per the agreement), or to do anything to remotely make this okay. I will never again use U-haul and will vocally dissuade anyone else from pursuing their services. Just abysmal. Very disappointing. Poor communication all around.Nancy H.

Was told at booking that truck would be ready at 1:00 PM. arrived at 105 and the office was closed with a sign that said "re-open at 230" at 200 received call asking if I still wanted the truck. The staff (3 people) stated that they were "at lunch". That was just a start of the poor customer service representation they showed. There is also a mismatch of information from "corporate" to the actual rental location.Joseph C.

My Uhaul boxes where not scanned in when I returned them (18 hours after I picked them up) causing them to be 3 weeks late. I will not spend one dime at Uhaul again. This was one of the worst products I've ever purchased. We have to sign a contract to use this service, but Uhaul can break it anytime? I know if I were to break the contract they would hold my stuff ransom until I complied. Hands down a horrible experience and a lot of wasted money. Ensuring you stick to the timeline, have the correct equipment at both locations, and a little accountability would go a long way for your future clients; of which I will not be a part of.Joshua P.

For some reason I was charged for gas after putting gas back in the truck right before returning. The amount that they had said was in the truck when I picked up the vehicle was incorrect. I got way overcharged. I rented a 10' truck for four hours and actually brought it back within three hours. I brought it back fully gassed up but for some reason was charged almost 75 $. I didn't select or want any of the optional insurance but was still charged for that. I could've rented a full size truck from car rental place for that price and would've been able to keep it longer. Last time I rent from uhaul. Next time I'd even pay a stranger with a truck 40 $for less than three hours of their time or like I said before I'd rent from somewhere else before ever using uhaul again. Damn shame when you get quoted an estimate and then it comes back as a charge nearly doubled what I was told. If I can't get reimbursed half of what I paid then I'll have to use Yelp, Google and your own website to share my displeasure and just ridiculous charges which were way different than the quote. I'll refer everyone away from this location and any other uhaul establishment.RYAN M.

We booked two movers through this U haul location. Both nice human beings but they were over three hours late! I was notified they were running an hour behind and they showed up 3,5 hours late! I left a vmail for the moving company, no call returned. My husband stopped by the U haul location and was finally able to contact someone. We assisted with moving as they were so far behind. To me it is unacceptable to be that late without calling the client with an update. I could have EASILY picked up the truck myself and started loading it myself. We hired help as we are older and my husband had received a cortizone shot his is knee earlier in the month. Never again will I use this service if this level of customer service, or lack thereof, is acceptable to U haul.Maureen S.

The drop off location was fine, we had used them before.Debbie K.
I was called the night before I was supposed to pick up the truck at 7:05pm. I was told the truck I was supposed to pick up at 7am at the robal location was not available. I was presented with the option to pick up a truck in redmond at 8 or bend at 12:15. I offered to drive into town to pick it up immediately so we could proceed as scheduled. That was not an option as the shops were closed, 5 minutes earlier. I was also told I'd have a manager call me within 48 hrs to discuss the fact i've had this scheduled and guys lined up I had to compensate. I opted to drive to Redmond to pick up a truck at 8am, got in a truck that shook down the road at any speed and felt at best unsafe to drive, to the move at 8:30. At that point, i'd been paying guys for an hour to stand there doing nothing as everything was set for a 7:30 start time. I moved everything, returned the truck in the condition it was received with 1/4 tank of gas as shown in the disputed photo I filled out upon pickup as I was told there were 3/8 of a tank. There wasn't. I used the uhaul link to add my photo. I was then billed for 2 gallons of fuel to "fill it up to rented level", a level at which I returned it. Overall, while the gentlemen at the lot I picked the truck up were kind and professional, it was a pretty poor experience. This is not a negative review of the performance of the rental pickup location. Storage central llc did exactly what they needed to. This is a negative review over processes all together. Had anyone called me earlier, I could have driven to pick up the truck earlier and not lost money paying guys to stand around doing nothing. With extenuating circumstances at location one, if anyone could have stayed late I could have grabbed the truck immediately upon notification there was an issue. Zero corrective action was presented that helped me complete my move on budget. Between that and the lack of follow up phone call to discuss options as presented by the gentleman who called me at 5 minutes after closing, it was exceptionally frustrating.Nicholas D.

It was completely opposite when we reached our destination at U-Haul on hi 97 in Bend. In fact it was so disorganized we ended up canceling our storage unit at UHaul on 97th and stored elsewhere.Bobbi M.

Called me literally 5 minutes before my pickup appointment to tell me they had to move my appointment an hour and a half later in the day because they had to go to lunch. I drove an hour and a half just to get to the place, would have been nice to get a little more advanced warning. When you are in the middle of a move there's a lot going on and plenty of other obligations that need to be taken care of, so throwing your whole schedule off by almost 2 hours is a real pain. I even called two days ahead of time and left them a message asking them to call me if there was any issues with the appointment. Never heard a thing. I will say the gentleman that helped us at the counter was nice, professional, and knew what he was doing. I appreciate his help!KENNETH M.
