Due to the lights not working, I went to closest uhaul hitch installed on ed Carey in Harlingen tx. They were unwilling to troubleshoot the issue and said that I needed the dealership to activate the towing package. I asked them if they installed the hitch, Would they not troubleshoot the issue. Which I was willing to pay them to install a new wiring harness. They had no desire to help and pretty much left me to figure it out. They even allowed me to leave without any working lights. I ended up troubleshooting the issue to the fuse on the wiring harness which I thought as professional installers they would have at least checked this. Absolutely the worst experience from a company that offers installation of hitches and the wiring. I lost 2 hours and $50 for a mechanic to resolve the issue.

Air condition was not working in the truck. Did not do much to help. I called another local uhaul that I've used before and they found me a truck to swap out with.

This location was secondary as the initial location in MvAllen failed miserably in providing what I needed. I had to drive 80 miles roundtrip to pickup my trailer. This is unacceptable as it put my schedule several hours behind.

26 ft Truck was not in working order. Only alternative was 15 ft truck. Lady suggested to take truck to other location to exchange it. But, she didn't want to do any legwork. Eventually, she made calls and found out all other Halls were closed. Thus forced into a 15ft truck.

If a change of pick up location is in order, please contact in ample time. I had requested pickup and return to the San Benito location. Due to the fact it was changed it added cost to our church rental. I only had a few days to decide if I still needed UHaul.

Our confirmation was at a location on rangerville rd in harlingen. We showed up there hooked up the trailer and then was told we had to go to a different location. When we arrived at the second location there was a customer who had already been to two other locations and were unable to get their reservation as well. I feel uhaul is very disorganized and sending their customers om wild goose chases. There are guarantee notices all over the place however uhaul just sends their customers to different locations as "part of their guarantee" very poor business.

The young lady didn't know much about this trailer and didn't give us all the tie downs after I got home and started thinking about it. There was nothing for the brakes except what I used on my truck.

This place had no customer service. I had to unhitch the trailer myself because the lady there told me that she was pregnant and could not do anything. She made me take the trailer into a mud area and my truck got very muddy and almost stuck and I was very upset. This location should not be accepting any uhual's as it does not have the staff or service to give to the customer.

I reserved a 14 foot Uhaul on Monday October 27 with a credit card. I received an email confirmation that the vehicle would be waiting for me at 10:30 am on November 1st. When I called the 29th they confirmed over the phone that the truck would indeed be there. When I arrived Saturday morning I was told that not only was MY truck not available, NO vehicles were available and they "might" have a 24 footer at three thirty, but at twice the price of what I had reserved.

First drop off location was shut down during normal hours. Looked like they had moved or shut down. Next drop off was OK, asked for a turn in document and was told I would receive one on line. I did not have access to the INTERNET and had no proof of turn in. The person behind the dest was pleasant, and the drop off was fast. On-line uhaul was great, helped with a new drop off site and also sent me a copy of the drop off document when I got the Internet again.

I rented it Saturday for one day. I returned it on Sunday at 145pm and they r still charging me for 2 days. Who can I talk to

Associate was not there upon arrival. Came back 30 min later and the door was still locked @ 10am. Finally associate was there and helping another customer get a storage unit. I handed him my paper work and he asked me if I wanted a receipt and I yes he then told me I he was getting an error. I told him I already paid in full and just needed proof that I dropped of the trailer. Then he figured out the error, he was trying to charge me for the trailer again. Once I got through that I unhooked the trailer in their dirt lot and left with a receipt.

this location is a storage dba uhual. they take the confirmation number and bill you (incorrectly) give keys there is the equipment, were truly helpful. the agent was very nice but she rents storage, just bills uhaul.,

The location I had requested was changed and I was not given the $50 reservation guarantee reimbursement. The truck was dirty inside both cabin and back. The worst part of the experience was when I went to finally drive the truck away, it was parked in mud. As soon as I started driving, the truck got stuck. I wasn't even out of the lot and was stuck in the mud. The company didn't want to assist me with my issue. They said that they only can call Uhaul for me because they only rent for them. So I call and talk to the area supervisor and he tells me "What do you want me to do about it. I'm already off work" So I am stuck in the mud and Uhaul doesn't want to help me. They finally tell me to call the Roadside assistance number. I call only to find out it will take 1 to 2 hours and that since I signed the contract already, I'm responsible for paying for the tow. What! The area supervisor is made to come and help me since I wanted to talk to his boss. He showed up about an hour later pulled out the 26' truck with his truck into the middle of the street. Gets out of his truck and says it's done. Doesn't apologize or say anything else. Gets in his truck and drives off. Worst experience ever!

Michelle, The lady who leased up the vehicle, was extremely polite, professional, and went out of her way to provide Professional service I have Never experienced at ANY u-Haul location here in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Over the past 10 years, I have personally leased trucks on over a dozen times for various moves, and being a Real Estate Broker, have recommended U-Haul to numerous clients. From now on, I will be sure to recommend This Location & the Storage Depot facilities throughout South Texas to ALL of our Clients.

Passenger side window wiper functioned poorly. Reservation system quoted 3 different prices for same route. Reservation system at pickup location did not function and would not accept any of my three credit cards. Had to wait one hour for system to finally process my credit card info forcing serious delay. Reservations directed me to an out of the way pick up location when there were other closer locations. Very disappointed with Uhaul. Probably will use another truck rental company next time.
